In a multi-colored void of chaotic space in a unknown realm a ball of light appeared out of knowhere

The ball was golden in Color with a red aura outlining it, this ball of light was the Supreme General Haile, he was currently "looking" around in curiosity as this is a brand new experience for him, he had never died before.

Obviously he had some of his own fantasies of what could possibly exist after death after all even without being killed he would die from old age eventually so he also thought about it, but he didn't stress much with it after all he will know when he sees it right?.

When he was hit by the warhead he didn't feel any pain through the process, he instead only felt the warm embrace of its heat and then nothing, it was like he lost consciousness.

When he awoken he was here in this space of kaleidoscope, he couldn't even see if this space was small or big, sometimes it looked as if it was like a glass right in front of him that he can reach out and touch but then it looks like it was endless.

He felt like the air had a heavy pressure like it was hard too breathe, even though he is pretty sure that he isn't breathing right now as a soul it had the same sensation.

It was like he was swimming in water but the water was more like slime, it was thick but invisible and misty it wasn't physically it was just pressuring him, he wondered what it is.

."That is my Divine energy hohoho".

As Haile was thinking about it he suddenly heard a voice behind him, but he was not scared, he just "turn" around with a calm "smile" on his "face"."And you are."He ask "raising" an "eyebrow"."

He saw a green mist floating in the air, it look like living smoke, it slowly began to take shape, turning into a "old man", everything of this old man was white from his robe to his eyebrow and beard.

He look at Haile with interest while stroking his long beard."My son, Welcome to my Divine realm, this is my universal control center, located at the center of the void that exists between universes, I'm God hoho."God said with a laugh while looking at Haile.

Haile didn't even flinch at that, he only nodded, he almost seemed disappointed, almost.

."Was not what you were expecting huh, what were you expecting hohohoho."God laugh not feeling embarrassed at not being praised and worshipped.

Haile who still had his smile said."It's nothing, everyone had there own fantasies for what you would look or be like, even me but it not a big deal though."He then looked around at the space."So what were you saying about this Divine power thing."

."Hohoho I guess you're right about that, to answer your question, this is my Divine energy that I let leak out of me in my boredom over the years, specifically 500 years since I began releasing it now this realm is fill with it."God said while also looking around at the kaleidoscope space then looked back at Haile ."That why I also find you so interesting, my energy seems to agree with your soul very well as no other soul can exist here more than a few seconds, when I say seconds I mean split seconds, exist then blink out of existence."

God said to Haile who didn't know what to say, was this a complement or something.

*Awkward Silence*

They both just stared at each other, even Haile thought it to awkward to remain smiling and just try to look away whistling calmly.

He looked back at God."So God, Mmm what now?."He ask with a raised eyebrow, it seems he is not going to some heaven or hell, so what the hell is to happen.

God stroke his beard."What now indeed, your situation had never appeared before so I didn't really have any plans for it, so I myself am also at a lost."God look around in thought as his eye suddenly twinkle with an idea.

God looked at Haile."My son, what do you think of reincarnation, not in your previous world a different one, one of fantasy, magic and ah Mmm and other stuff."He said with a calming smile on his old face.

Haile gain a confused look on his face."You mean an animated world one of those fiction I've heard of, you mean those are real worlds?."He said thinking all he knew about those things which is really not much, The closest thing he had to those fantasies was video games he played as a small child.

."Yeah those ones and yes they are real they are an infinite amount of planes of existence that exist within the void, your universe is just one of the many that exist."God said with a proud smile as he explained it."Maybe I should put a basic run down in your mind, as you have to know what you're getting yourself into."

*Snap*

God snapped his fingers and within Haile's mind a multitude of images played in his mind putting him in a daze.

Scenes passed before his vision like watching a movie, as it went on he got progressively more excited as his soul bounced around with joy.

An unknown amount of time passed as Haile was still in a daze no longer moving.

*Snap*

God snapped his fingers again and Haile awoken from his daze with an almost fanatical excitement in his eyes as he turned to God.

."Is all of this really real?."Haile asked God with a hopeful look taking hold of his face, he was nervous now, what if it was only a joke.

God seeing him like this laugh."Hohohoho, you were not even this nervous when you face imminent death, you must have liked it a lot, yes don't worry I didn't trick you those world's are real, so how about it wanna go."He said with a happy grin on his face.

."Definitely, I had always thought I was the strongest being in existence and that I can never become stronger, even as strong as I was I was still defeated by normal human technology, but now looking at it, in the grand scheme these warheads are a poorly executed trick."Haile said with a strange glow on his soul.

God nodded in appreciation."Good so it's decided you will be reincarnated to a anime world."God said with grandeur creeping into his voice."So which world have you decided upon my son."

Haile thought about it for a bit."I think I will do go in probably High School DxD, I think I liked that one the most, though, the Mc I Don't like but the settings I love it."He said having already worked out the details in his mind.

."Alright that's find, so this is what I'll do for you, I've never been in this situation before and it was quite entertaining for me to say the least so I'll grant you a little gift, one single wish of almost anything you want."God said to Haile stroking his beard.

Haile raised his "eyebrow" at God in surprise."Well aren't you a generous God."Haile made a thinking motion."Can I add details of this wish?."

God though about it then said."Yeah sure, as long as it's not considered two wishes."

."Alright that's easy, I want my body that I'm reincarnated in to be my previous body, same strength everything but I want to customize some things right now."Haile said with a crafty smile.

God look at him in slight surprise."Well isn't this interesting."He said with a satisfied smile."Sure you can have it, you've duped me hohohoho."

*snap*

In a flash of light, Haile's aged body appeared in all its majestic glory adding life to the room though it is a dead body.

Haile felt a little strange looking at his own dead body."Alright the modification are, modify it to around age 17 while keeping my full strength, I don't want a old body in a new life but I also don't want to start over after all my hard work, next modification is to allow my body to absorb some of your Divine energy in this realm, next if this energy doesn't then increase my potential greatly too where I can continuously grow in strength."Haile began thinking to see if he had missed anything."Yeah I think that's all I'll need."

God had a frozen smile on his face."You really worked your way around what I said huh very well."God said stiffly as he shook his head at getting bamboozled by a mortal, but he wasn't angry or anything, what he wanted wasn't a big deal at all.

*Snap*

In a flash of light the changes were made, Haile's body reversed in age and seemed to become more awe inspiring and healthy looking, he was now 17 years old with the strength of his prime.

Haile felt rather proud of himself, even though he knows that when he goes over to the other world he will not be that strong.

." God can you do me a small favor?."Haile said to God.

God gave him a side eye."What, you didn't take advantage of me enough?."He turn around but said anyway."Sure, if it's something small."

."it just that since I didn't really train magic or anything or have a grasp of sensing the different power levels can you put like an instinct to know what power level a being has."Haile is trying to be extra careful, this will not be his world anymore, way he can just do what he want and defeat anyone easily.

God just nodded his head.

*Snap*

."Now that that's over let's get you to that world don't worry about my Divine energy, I'll put how much you can absorb into your body."God said quickly trying to get Haile to leave lest he scam him again.

."Alright thank you God, it was nice meeting yo-."Before Haile could finish his sentence he disappeared.
