The Beginning

*BEEP!!* *BEEP!!*

While I'm still in bed I hear the alarm go off, so I'd turn around to reach my arm out and turn it off. I sit up looking down with both of my hands placed on the bed I'd look up to smile big.

"I suppose today is the day!"

I'd reach my arms up stretching it up high showing scars on my back and bruises. I'd stand up go to the bathroom, brush my teeth, take a shower, and do all of my business in the bathroom then get dressed. After all of that I went down the stairs to go in the kitchen to grab a bowl, milk, and cereal. I'd place the bowl down on the table to pour the milk and cereal in. As I sit and eat alone with nobody to talk to or be told "good morning" or "I love you" he'd smile and stand up after finishing up. I'd grab my phone from the counter to check what time it was.

"Wait what?! How am I late?! The bus will be here in any minute I better grab my back pack and head off before I miss the bus!"

As I'd run out of my apartment I'd see the bus about to take off, but the driver would see me running while waving to the bus.

"Wait for me don't leave!"

The doors would open for me to get in, and as I would get in I found an empty seat to sit next to the window.

"I heard that this school wasn't normal, but I suppose it's to scare the gangsters."

While the bus would take off another student would sit next to me putting his arm over my shoulder.

"You must be new I could tell by the way you acted when you hopped onto the bus." He'd say that as he'd fix his hair with a smirk

"Yeah! My name's Matthew, but you can call me Mat for short!"

"Alright...Mat I have some advice for you be careful you seem pretty nice so I'm helping you this once but I won't help you anymore" He said that as he'd glare at Mat

"Thanks for the advice but I think I'll manage what's your name?"

"It's James and since it's your first time here you can tell people I'm friends with you if they mess with you but only for this week."

"Well alright James thanks for being my friend only if it's a week."

Some time has past by so the bus would already be at the school. I would step out inhaling a bunch of air and exhaling out.

"I'm so excited I can't wait!!"

As I would walk to the entrance to see a paper on the wall to tell where our class would be at.

"Looks like I'm in room 118! I'm so excited for this!"

As I'd make it in the class I found out that my seat was next to the window in the middle of the row.

"Looks like I'm having an amazing view for the year!"

*RING* *RING*

The bell would ring for people that would make it after the bell would be considered late. There was a group of girls sitting behind me gossiping about the boys. Someone would go up the the girls desk and kick the desk over making the girl sitting there fall with it.

"Look here! Just because you're a bunch of girls don't mean anything I'll put you in your place any day" said the weird guy who kicked the desk

I'd just keep on facing forward with a face with no emotion on it. I would sigh and then tremble in fear.

"I'm so thankful I wasn't the girl that got kicked she's still on the floor I think she's knocked out!"

A shadow would cover the top of my head, so I would look up staring at a girl looking at me with an innocent smile.

"Hey there! You must be new it was the first time I saw your face here!" Said the girl

"That's right! All I want is a peaceful school year and of course make some friends along the way"

"Is it alright if I become one of your friends? I can give you a tour of the school if you want!" Said the still unknown girl

"Yes that would be nice I would be so glad to have you as a friend" he'd say that relieved knowing that he won't be alone

Another image of would appear next to the girl showing a guy instead. As I would be in shock looking at who that was standing next to the girl.

"J-James? I didn't think that we'd get the same class."

"Hmm you look a bit disappointed did I ruin your flirting session with my girlfriend?" Said James

"N-no I didn't mean to do anything! I swear I didn't know that was your girlfriend!"

"That's fine I'll let you off of the hook just this once but can you get up for a second?" Asked James

"Sure but I don't see why I should."

Mat would stand up to walk beside his desk facing James in the face.

James would turn around "I just wanted to see something."

With a quick flash James spun kicking the side of May's head flinging Mat to the wall making him unconscious.

The teacher would walk in while in shock "W-who did this?!"

James would raise his hand "it was me sir" as he would have a smirk on his face.

The teacher would tremble "W-well alright can someone take this person to the nurse?"

A few students would volunteer to take him to the nurse.

Later Mat would wake up with bandages around his head, body, and arms. Mat saw a figure staring at him as he was laying down on a bed. The nurse would speak up

"Looks like you got quite a beating there" said the nurse.

Mat would blink a few times "I didn't think a human could be so strong.."

The nurse would tilt her head "Must be James huh? I heard that you only took one blow and nearly died, but I suppose that's normal in this school." She'd say annoyingly

Mat would be a little confused "What do you mean that this is suppose to be normal I don't understand...."

The nurse would let out a sigh "Of course you wouldn't understand you're new to this school so you wouldn't know anything."

Mat would look at the nurse annoyingly "Can you tell me what this school is actually about instead of just being rude?!"

The nurse would chuckle "Alright fine in this school we holds a fighting competition each year there are 4 places that several people can win. Third place is amateur fighter everyone treats them as normal people and don't think much of them really. Second place is Nobel fighter people treats these people as well noblemen. Lastly Supreme fighter only one person can win this title they're treated as a king and they'll get into a university free of charge leading them into a good career and a payment of 10,000 dollars a week."

Mat would look down to his arms with a light smile whispering to himself "This might be fun after all..."

The nurse would be confused and ask him "What are you mumbling about there?"

Mat would look up "Nothing so James is the strongest right?"

"Yes he is but I'm confused every single school does this including grade school what school did you go to that you guys didn't do this?" Asked the nurse

Mat shook his head "Don't worry about it I thought there was something else to this school since it's the school named the strongest."

The nurse smirked "Well Mat James has been King since he was 5 and always has been king he never lost s fight."

Mat would close his eyes "I'll manage as long as I get my sleep" he'd chuckle
