Four hours later, it was finally his turn to take the test , as for why he needed to take the test?

Probably to prevent some over confident fool from going to scarifice themselves in the claws of those terrible monsters, wasting their lives.

Eric walked through the door, facinated and dumb struck by what he saw.

It was a large gym room more like a gym field , well equipped with sophisticated and complicated to use gym machines, nothing here could be lifted by an ordinary human as they were all for awakened mystics.

Eric felt his view of life being forcefully expanded by how much humans could spend on gym equipments, a piece of equipment here would probably cost a fortune, putting facts together Eric knew they weren't ordinary equipment either .

"Eric Houston!?"

Eric was brought back to reality by the loud call of his name, as the instructor walked towards him while holding an A4 paper size note with nothing more than a paper clip holding them together.

"Awakened type?" "Age ?" the instructor asked cutting straight to the point with a face of lack of interest , his gaze cold, staring straight at Eric figure.

"Strength type"

"18"

Without blinking an eye Eric also replied in a straight forward manner.

Follow me, the instructor said as they walked toward the left side of the gym were there was a tortoise shaped strength testing machine or artifact embedded into the wall.

"Punch out with your full strength at that machine to get your strength measured" the instructor said in the usual cold tone.

Eric as ignorant as he was about the world of mystics, he knew that with the strange modification made by his bloodline to his body, he was far stronger than newly awakened mystics, not wanting to attract more than the necessary amount of attention, instead of going all out like a hot blooded youth would have, trying his best to please the instructor, Eric decided against showing off his full strength .

Standing before the machine , he released the half of the over whelming force contained with his arm, thrusting his hand towards the machine, the decreased explosive power, collided with a loud bang, "cracks! cracks!" the cracks reverberated through the gym, as spider web cracks formed on the once smooth wall surface.

After throwing this punch, Eric was very much surprised not expecting such insane amount of boost, just from a half powered punch, what more of the instructor who's eyes were wide open as they glittered.

Looking at the number displayed by the machine , he saw

--"1500kg"

"Good"

"Very good"

The instructor said as he looked at Eric with a kind smile, anyone who wasn't here to witness the cold indifferent expression a moment ago would think he was Eric

father, deserving of an Oscar.

Eric wasn't surprised, neither was he burdened knowing the simple nature of humans was more than enough to know wthat was going on,it was human nature to respect the strong ignore the weak with no potential, that's if the weak in person wasn't suppressed .

As for the instructor he already guessed Eric had awakened a great talent , and made up his mind to get close to Eric, sadly Eric wasn't interested to build such fragile friendship.

Thinking back he had only used seventy percent of his strength in that punch.

The instructor wanted to say something, but he kept quiet seeing Eric lack of interest .

Walking out of the gym field the instructor handed Eric's test result to the young lady at the counter, she was shocked as a newly awakened mystic had strength to rival peak middle rank wild beast, which meant his awakened talent rank was very high maybe even S+.

After, a few minutes later Eric was called to another room filled with technological equipment, as he met the same young lady at the counter.

She smiled at Eric.

We will now commence on the last step of the registration, first we need to scan your fingerprints and your pupil , this is to prevent another person from using your identification, Eric nodded and followed her instruction.

A screen was lit up as it processed his identification card.

|Mystic Guild|

|Eric Houston|

And a series of identification codes and a passport. Very simple.
