Chapter 5: Revenge

After Anna left Vega's side to do some work. He was sitting in the bed and was looking at his status screen.

He was thinking something in his mind and thus spoke in his mind, ' Increase strength by hundred points.'

He could feel energy pouring into him and at a great deal at that as his strength was doubled.

He actually closed off his notifications permanently as it would only hinder him, so he just turned them off and now would do things to collect more Conqueror Points.

He was still looking at the screen as he heard a bam. The door of his room opened. A female figure rushed toward her. She was Anna.

She spoke in a panic, "Master, run."

"Why?" Vega closed the status screen and looked at Anna with a worried expression.

"The butler you killed, his family is here for revenge." Anna spoke and as soon as she finished speaking.

BOOOOOOMMMMMM!

A loud noise was heard. The wall on which the door was, broke and crumbled into pieces.

Anna was in Vega's embrace as he quickly hugged her as the wall broke. Vega saw an old man coming out of the smoke caused by the breaking of wall.

"You are him, huh?" The old man spoke with a dangerous glint in his eyes. Behind him there were about 20 individuals. They all looked like to be strong.

'Ruler's Eyes'

He activated the ruler's eyes and his eyes turned white. Complete white. The old man got shocked to see the seen.

Vega looked at the old man.

Seeing him Vega thought, 'Weak'. It was not arrogance or anything. Mian's rank was lower than him. Vega had asked system about ranking and king was way higher than a mere grandmaster.

Mian suddenly rushed toward him and wanted to punch him. Vega could stop him but Anna released herself from Vega's embrace and she received a punch in her face that sent her flying toward the garden.

As she was about to hit the ground, Vega appeared beside her and carried her like a princess. Anna was now unconscious.

Vega looked at her with his golden eyes that were turned back to normal.

Mian and other men also landed on the ground. Mian looked at Vega and smirked.

Vega was looking at Anna with worried look. He knew that she was unconscious and her life was out if danger but he was still worried.

He opened the system shop and search [healing] to find anything related to healing. Many names were written on it but he hurriedly touched healing potions. He then bought a high-grade potion that cost him 1000 Conqueror Points. He without even taking a glance at the price bought it. There were other more valuable things but he was in urgent need so he ignored them. He just thought about the options to open and they would open.

Mian and other man looked at him with weird gazes as they saw him looking at air.

"He is gone mad."

"Yup, after seeing Lord Mian's power he had gone mad."

They whispered and laughed and Mian also had a proud grin on his annoyi- wrinkled face.

Meanwhile, a healing potion appeared in Vega's hand and he drank it then he kissed Anna on lips and passed the potion in her mouth.

Seeing this the people were stunned. Alice with her maid was also seen rushing but stopped after seeing the kiss between these two.

After a moment, Vega broke the kiss forming a string of saliva between their mouths. He then stood up and disappeared from the spot and appeared in front of Alice.

"Take care of her." Vega spoke and gave Anna to Alice. Alice nodded while looking at Vega.

Suddenly, his face distorted into an expression that would make any normal human or with low rank to piss his/her pants. But as Alice was powerful probably more powerful than Mian but she still felt chills down her spine as for maid, her legs trembled so violently that she almost fell on the ground but she still barely maintained her balance but her face was covered in sweat. No matter who they are even if they were he held them dear, seeing his face will only scare them.

Vega then disappeared from the spot and the people in the garden heard a loud scream of pain.

"Aaaaaaarrrrrrrrgggggggg!"

They looked at the source of scream and we're scared to the core.

What they saw scared them to the core?

The man who screamed had a whole in his chest and a hand could be seen emerging from and holding his heart.

He was long dead, as for when Vega's hand pierced his chest he screamed instinctively, so anyone could help him.

Vega pulled back his hand while holding the heart. The man's body fell in the ground.

Vega looked at the heart and then at Mian and his men that sent shivers down their cores and some pissed their pants.

He crushed the heart and it released blood that sprayed all over the clothes and clothes of Vega.

That also added more horror in their heart in addition to their current fear. Mian's legs started trembling and all his men were kneeling on the floor looking at ground.

"We are dead."

"He is gonna kill us."

"I don't want to die."

They all spoke nonsense and their eyes were blank due to fear. They all had seen powerful enemies, some even fought them but there was something about him that was scaring them to the core.

Mian looked at them and shouted, "What are you doing? You are not some normal people, you are powerful and you are kneeling like some idiots. How can you protect Countess Alice if you are gonna be scared like that?"

He spoke but they ignored him.

"Pfft." Mian looked at Vega and he was controlling his laughter.

"What the? You are telling them to not be scared but you should look down." Vega pointed at Mian's pant. Mian looked down and saw that he pissed himself.

At that time Vega spoke in a demonic voice that sent chills down the spines of everyone present at the scene:

"You think you are gonna live after commiting the sin of hurting someone close to me. People are always wrong by saying that devil is this and that. I will show you what is the real devil is. So, prepare yourself as the devil's show is gonna begin."
