The Portal Has Opened

---

"Hohoho~ Come on now old man, don't let my fun die out so soon." A high pitched voice filled with the playfulness of a child sounded.

Within the chaotic area of the ruined guild, Phantom Lord, Jose was seen standing atop the back of an old and stout figure.

That figure's identity was no secret as it was clearly seen to be Makarov.

Makarov's breath was faltering, dropping with every second that sped by.

Witnessing this scene from the side was Cana, Gray and the rest of Fairy Tail.

Their anxiety continued to spike throughout every passing moment of witnessing this scene.

They felt as though their hearts were at the edge of a cliff, prepared to leap off at any given moment.

Behind Jose, came the silhouettes of four figures towering over a single one.

As to who these four people were, it was obvious.

The Four Elements were all smiling with their bloodied mouths glistening with a gory glint.

Ruthlessly pressing their heavy feets onto the weakened back of Flare they experienced a pleasurable moment exactly like that of Jose's.

Sol, who had the most sinister expression of all suddenly had his brain glow brightly as an idea quickly popped into his head.

Flare was still breathing, actually he was still conscious too.

Everytime he heard the loud and unbearable screams of Makarov his heart churned with conflict and pain.

He wanted to do something yet he couldn't. He felt absolutely powerless.

'Why?' He continually questioned internally. 'Why must I allow everyone around me to die?!'

'JUST WHY-'

"Urgh!"

His chaotic thoughts suddenly shook, pausing immediately after a giant hand forcefully shifted his head upwards, making his eyes fall onto an incessant scene.

His eyes widened, the bloody shade it carried increased as blood lines started cracking through them.

'Hey... get off of the master… HEY! GET OFF THE MASTER!!'

He shouted within his mind, opening his mouth subconsciously as well yet no words came out.

At this moment, Jose sensed a murderous intent befell his entire being.

His eyebrows rose in surprise before he shifted his gaze from Makarov's pitiful figure towards the Four Elements' direction.

As he focused himself towards the heavy, murderous gaze, he suddenly smiled with his eyes instantly following his mouth's movements.

That smile, to Flare, was the incarnation of horror.

Flare's very soul was at its thinnest barrier, ready to burst apart at any given moment as it continued to succumb towards the feeling of absolute despair.

Yet at the same time, the sheer feeling of absolute powerlessness had remained, lingering within his beating heart, continuously tormenting him.

What was he to do? How was he to try and save his friends?

He had no power! He was weak! He couldn't even protect his best friend!

How could he even think about killing Jose if he couldn't do anything right?

'Shut up…'

He spoke about himself being strong. Where? Where was this strength in which he had boasted about so proudly?

'Shut up..!'

Even he knew that he was nothing but a weak and worthless person!

'Shut up!'

HE KNEW THAT THE REAL REASON CRIMSON DIED WAS ALL BECAUSE OF HIM-

"SHUT!"

"UP!!"

BOOOOOOOM!!!!!

Flare's body suddenly erupted with a world trembling aura.

His figure glowed astonishingly bright as a golden hue reflected off of the faces of the Four Elements.

Their expression slowly started to change as the aura that was suddenly spawned into existence steadily rose in power.

Flare roared as the golden light started to turn into golden flames.

BOOM!

The Four Elements for the second time heard another loud boom bellow out within the area.

Before they could examine Flare for they knew he was the cause, their views of the world oddly changed as everything in their sight suddenly zoomed forward.

BANG!

Their bodies were suddenly slammed into the faraway mass of land, a sweet and metallic liquid clogging their throats.

"Blegh!!" They all spurted, from their mouths, buckets of blood.

As red as an apple, yet as bitter as a lemon.

Juvia, Sol, Totomaru and Aria all had their pupils constrict greatly, clearly shocked about the sudden turn of events.

Slowly did their heartbeats weaken yet at the same time quickened.

This was due to the overwhelming sense of fear that slowly started kicking in.

Weakly glancing towards Flare's direction, they caught sight of a horrifying scene.

Flare, who earlier before was painted with his own blood and had multiple life threatening wounds covering his body, now remained suspended within the air.

A sea of beautiful Golden Flames filled with a universal grandeur encompassed his entire being.

Within those Golden Flames, his previous wounds which would be near to, if not impossible to heal, started to close themselves.

Fairy Tail, Jose and the Four Elements slowly widened their eyes in shock.

C-Crack!

Stretch!

Yet, it looked as though that was not all that was going to play out at this moment.

The blood crawling sounds of bones being broken sounded out ominously and alongside it, was the horrifying sounds of flesh being torn and stretched.

Terror layered the eyes of the many spectators as Flare's body started to undergo a monstrous change.

His very flesh inflated and pounded like a beating heart whereas his bones stretched and added to itself, inches as it could now be seen to protrude his bubbling body.

Silence.

That was what befell the current area at this moment. Until of course, Flare broke that silence.

"¥₩£*#$%%¥£." He spoke in an unknown language, his voice carrying a rather blunt tone.

Shua!

His eyes opened slowly, revealing a whiteness far beyond comparison to clouds.

It had not ended yet however.

His body continued to shift its shape and as it did, ancient runic engravings coursed through it.

They were designed in such an intricate fashion with several lines intersecting and overlapping each other.

Golden in color and brighter than the sun they resonated with the high output of Golden Flames being released from Flare's body.

That resonance led to something greater. Something unknown yet horrifying, akin to an ancient beast awakening from its slumber.

VWOOM!

Came the sound of a massive pillar of golden light which directly shot towards the sky.

The clouds parted in an instant as the vast blue sky began changing its color.

A massive vortex was birthed into the sky, expanding with a force never before seen!

"W-what is that?" Makarov, who was jolted out of the welcoming arms of darkness, shouted with his eyes drowning in the black waters of terror.

Jose was shocked stiff. No, it was more than just shock. It was the fear in which he felt that had truly glued him to the floor.

Cana fell onto her knees with her eyes quivering with as much fear as Jose felt.

"We're doomed.." Next to her, Gray, who had his eyes glued onto the scene playing out before him, muttered these two words with a sense of loss in his voice.

Slowly his expression fell as his eyes sunk into the abyss of despair.

Flare's body grew, he became bigger as the seconds passed by.

As this all played out though, another act quite related to this moment was also being played out.

Far away, on an unknown planet desolated and left for destruction to take its course, a tall hooded figure stood at the epicenter of the planet.

Behind the hooded figure were millions of palm sized bears, all carrying a different glow and hue of color.

The hooded figure focused his gaze towards the front of him, gazing intently into the infinite space.

"The portal has been opened.." The figure spoke in a tone of voice heavier than the usual person. Seeming to even carry within it, a tone reminiscent of an Ancient Devil's.

When the Kingdom Of Bears, standing behind the figure, heard this, they all smiled and held their heads up with pride.

One bear who stood at the very front of the Kingdom Of Bears looking as gracious and well defined as a one true king, broke the swelling realm of silence by suddenly speaking up.

His tone of voice carried an unrestrained arrogance.

"Heh, of course it opened up! Senior, our race may not have a lot of members that can rely on their physical aspects as much as Subject 101, however the rest of us are way more advanced when it comes to our minds."

"My people have accurately calculated the required number of years that each subject needs to successfully activate the Mythril Pearl."

"Since our Teleportation Stones can only allow a single person to travel to other worlds every 400 years we have found good use for the Mythril Pearl by picking out the bears of our race that excel in the physical aspect and lack in the mental aspect, sending them to the desired planet we wish to conquer with the Mythril Pearl implanted within their bodies."

"Oh? Please tell me more on this matter, I'm intrigued."

The hooded figure replied, his tone of voice unnaturally distorted.

The bear who had previously referred to the hooded figure as 'senior' spoke up once again.

"Yes, Senior. The Mythril Pearl is a special pearl which houses the legendary Yang Flames and the advanced comprehension of the Space Element."

"It takes exactly four hundred years to activate once implanted into a host but it must be a host that is both compatible with the Fire Element and the Space Element."

"Our race could be considered the 'son' of the Fire Element whereas a good amount of our people are also born with the Space Element, since it is common among our original world."

"Oh?" The hooded figure sounded more than just intrigued at this point, a hint of greed blooming within his heart.

He responded, "Are there more of these Mythril Pearls?"

Hearing the Senior's question the little crimson colored bear held his head up high once again and spoke aloud with pride, "Nope! That is the only one in existence and it is owned by my people! It is our greatest treasure and also our greatest pride!"

Underneath the hood, suddenly came a white glimmer.

A full set of pearly white teeth came into view as the hooded figure had a hideous smile plastered onto his face. "Arara~ How unfortunate, King Argus."

Hearing the Senior's words the crimson bear, King Argus, lifted an eyebrow in pure confusion as he slowly attempted to question,

"How-"

However, he was cut off immediately as a black blur of darkness suddenly swept past him.

Clank!

A metallic clank sounded throughout the silent area.

King Argus suddenly felt a heavy, cold piece of iron clamped around his neck.

"YOUR MAJESTY!!"

The entire race of bears all cried out in succession. Rage, visibly seen, bubbling within their expressions.

Seeing that their king's life was potentially at the risk of being reaped, they all rushed forward.

RUMBLE!

The entire planet started to quake as their heavy footsteps resonated with each other.

They all held up their paws as they rushed forward. And as they did that, several different weapons appeared.

The hooded figure sneered and suddenly lifted King Argus by his head.

At the same time he did this a burst of circular energy, dazzling purple in color swept out. It enveloped the entire race of two million in an instant!

BOOM!

A booming sound bellowed out as they all suddenly fell onto their knees, their faces ashen pale.

"I have your king you fucking insects! He's now under the control of the very own technology you've created! Anything I say he'll do! So, if you defy me, what do you think would happen to this pathetic weakling whom you all so loyally serve?"

King Argus's body was drenched in cold sweat, realising his current predicament. Yet his rage was as explosive as an ancient volcano!

He looked towards his people apologetically and said, "My people! Please do not worry fret! Just listen to him, whatever he says you must do! No matter what you mustn't let your anger take control of you!"

"Yes, listen to your "king".."  The hooded figure added, his provocation clearly visible in that comment.

Hearing the venomous tongue of the hooded figure lash out with unrestrained arrogance, a blue colored bear couldn't bear such audacity anymore.

"How dare you speak so wildly in the presence of His Majesty! Even worse! How could you betray His Majesty's trust?! Have you no shame?! You, a mighty expert at the True Essence Realm, shamelessly bullying His Majesty who holds a weaker cultivation?!"

"Elise.. no..!" A silver colored bear next to the blue colored bear interjected, attempting to restrain the hot blooded Elise.

However, Elise completely ignored the silver bear as her gaze only increased the murderous intent which piled within.

"We agreed to teleport you and your people to your desired world and in exchange we were promised what you offered!"

"The eyes of your people, they were what you had promised! You said that those of your kind who've sinned have no right to use those eyes, yet how are you any different from those sinners?!"

"YOU'VE SINNED YOU HEAR ME?! YOU AND HIS MAJESTY SWORE UNDER THE HEAVENS THAT NO ONE WERE TO GO BACK ON THEIR SIDES OF THE AGREEMENT! THE HEAVENS SHALL PUNISH YOU! THE HEAVENS SHALL DELIVER UPON YOU AND YOUR PEOPLE HEAVENLY RETRIBUTION-"

"ELISE, NOOOOOOO!!" At this point the silver bear couldnt restrain his worry anymore. His paws moved through the air as he attempted  to seal the mouth of Elise, however he was too late.

POP!

Elise's body was suddenly blown to bits, her fragmented remains splattering upon the quivering bodies of her kin.

The silver bear's eyes widened to the extreme. He fell onto his knees, his mind muddled with a tornado of chaotic thoughts.

His tears piled, swelled and fell.

"ELISE!!!!!"

POP!

"Ah~ That was so noisy~" The hooded figure suddenly broke the dreadful silence.

His casual tone of voice was heard by all and as they let it sink into their hearts their minds slowly succumbed to the feeling of absolute despair.

"The Heavens, you say? How childish. There is no Heaven, there exists only Hell!"

Madness blurred the hooded figure's voice. He glanced around, his eyes scanning the Kingdom Of Bears.

"Shion, Cai, Tatsuya," The hooded figure suddenly called out.

From the looming shadows which blended into the natural appearance of the planet's earth, three mysterious blurs of absolute darkness shot towards the side of the hooded figure.

The sounds of several robes being ruffled through the passing wind sounded.

Focusing one's gaze one could see what looked to be three more hooded figures, cloaked in their robes of darkness shielding them from the exposure of the outside world.

They all stood tall and prideful, an aura of superiority emanating off of their bodies. The Kingdom Of Bears felt their fear reach a new peak.

Feeling the sheer aura of the newcomers, their heads all heavily drooped.

"Now for anyone who still wishes to act mental and ignore my words, maybe this would change your minds,"

The hooded figure paused and smiled wickedly before continuing. "Show them." He ordered his subordinates. Receiving the order they complied immediately.

Suddenly their robes moved, their long arms were lifted into the air.

As soon as it stopped moving however, a bright light stretched around their fingers. When the light had finally died down a beautiful ring chose to reveal itself.

Swoosh!

The rings were not normal however! They all released a bright silvery light which poured onto the ground and what followed it were the heavy metallic clanking of keys.

Dang! Dang! Dang!

A multitude of bright silver keys fell into a single pile.

As the silver keys piled up, a horrified expression crept onto the faces of the Kingdom Of Bears.

"Those keys…, hey.., aren't those…?"

"Yeah… those are the keys for the Collars Of Enslavement!!"

"That bastard!!!" Countless bears could no longer restrain their emotions. Like a slumbering volcano of multiple emotions, they all erupted within mere moments.

Their hatred for the hooded figure grew even stronger than before.

The hooded figure focused his gaze. His eyes hidden by the overlapping flap of his hood shone with a bright glimmer of mockery, disdain and disgust.

"Hahah~ How cute. But yes, these are indeed what you recognise them to be."

"I believe you all know what this means, right?"

The bears all suddenly fell silent. Their eyes widened with rage but their minds clouded with fear.

Having no other option left they all suddenly dropped onto their knees and slammed their heads into the ground.

 BOOM!

A massive crater, hundreds of thousands of meters wide and deep formed as their heads all remained pinned onto the ground.

"WE GREET HIS MAJESTY!!"

They all roared in succession with some of the bears even shedding tears of unwillingness.

"Heh," The hooded figure scoffed, he then looked towards King Argus as said.

"Now King Argus, based on my knowledge of your people's technology and agriculture since approximately four hundred years have passed I believe your Tree Of Gifts have birthed another Teleportation Stone, right?"

King Argus, hearing the question, glared at the hooded figure. He squirmed within the hands of the hooded figure, his frustration only growing as he attempted to break free from his grip.

However as he did such a thing his collor's color suddenly transitioned into a scarlet red one.

ZAP!

"ARGH!!!!"

King Argus released a loud and painful cry. He obviously couldn't show any signs of resistance nor defiance now that the Collar Of Enslavement had him in its arms.

The Kingdom Of Bears all quivered, their heads still pinned onto the ground.

They knew that they couldn't do anything as they didn't even have an ounce of recognised strength to do so.

Through gritted teeth did they only have one option.

Endure.

"Hahaha!! That was enjoyable! Ah~ Alas my joy must be put to a stop. Argus, I know you've already picked the Teleportation Stone. Hand it over."

From playfulness the hooded figure's voice fell to a chilling degree of seriousness.

"H-here..!" King Argus weakly raised his paw and atop it, a bright light flashed.

Swoosh!

The light died within an instant and in replace of it was a small diamond shaped grey stone with a single line of runic engraving etched onto its surface.

Yet despite its look, a magnificent aura was felt from its depth.

The hooded figure glanced towards his subordinates who also glanced towards him.

Before he crushed the stone he spoke in a voice filled with seriousness, "I'll take five hundred thousand of you with me."

"Despite you all being pitifully weak you all are still way stronger than the people of the world we are about to enter."

"The rest of you contact the other worlds underneath your order, informing them that a new king has ascended to the throne. Is that understood?"

"YES YOUR MAJESTY!!" They all gave a respectful salute though it seemed a bit forced.

The hooded figure did not care though as he knew as long as their king was in his hands there would be no one who would boldly defy his order.

Soon the five hundred thousand bears tasked to tag along gathered close by whereas the rest had long since departed.

CRACK!

The rock suddenly crumbled, dust flowing out of the palm of the hooded figure.

VMM!!

Suddenly, a massive tear in the void appeared. From the tear, came a monstrous force of power.

BOOM!

The sky above quaked with an otherworldly force directly permeating the surrounding atmosphere and as it did, a massive vortex was suddenly formed.

Looking into the vortex's eye, the hooded figure smiled with a tinge of madness reflecting off of hisnoearly white teeth.

There, at that moment, his hood moved. The flap blew towards the top left and as it did the eyes of the hooded figure came into view.

His eyes were painted grey and within that greyness were the very ripples which had resembled the effect of one tapping the surface of a pond lightly.

Yet that didn't seem to be all. Several commas stood with an equal on both sides.

The hooded figure looked to be of a somewhat ancient race.

"Wait for me you wretched woman! Once i build my army I'll kill you for daring to steal the God Fruit from me!! GRAAAA!!" His body inclined slightly as his back arched.

SWOOSH!

BOOM!

His figure seemingly turned into a beam of flowing light pierced toward the giant vortex.

---

Back on Earthland, a massive 100m tall bear smothered in a sea of Golden Flames was seen standing with its four massive paws embedded into the crumbling earth.

At this point, Jose and everyone nearby were on their knees.

The aura which radiated off of Flare's body had released several waves of suppression which greatly affected the hearts of those around.

Flare's eyes continued to shine white as his body adorned several millions if not billions of  runic engravings.

Wong~

His eyes, filled with an icy coldness, eerily swept the area. Slowly, did they fall onto Jose.

"Ugh..! N-no..!"

Swoosh!

Despite his massive size, he only needed a single step to appear in front of Jose.

Towering over like an ancient giant he swiped across through the air diagonally, in a slow and casual manner.

Yet the ray of light which flew off of his claws was as fast as sound itself!

Whoosh!

SHING!

With no effort being made, Flare slaughtered the Phantom Lord Guild Master. However his deed of blood hadn't been finished yet.

He looked toward the Four Elements and walked toward them like a mindless zombie, hellbent on only eating the ones who first provoked it and then those who attempted to kill it.

BANG! BANG! BANG!

Came the heavy footsteps of Flare. The Four Elements all had their bodies shaken up.

They were scared, frightened and terrified.

And as Flare arrived before them he didn't delay. Simply unsheathing his claws, he pierced and burst each of their throats.

Blood shot up like a miniature fountain before he finally turned his attention towards his final target.

The person who was the main cause of it all.

Gajeel.

Gajeel had no longer been in the Guild Master's office as he was now patched up.

He had been secretly watching the previous fights and such, he felt terrified. He was also struck with a dangerous sense of fear witnessing the current events.

He wasn't alone however, almost every single being surrounded in the area felt the surging feeling of fear.

They all held their breaths, scared to even breathe as they felt that if they did, they wouldn't have a pleasant end.

When Gajeel saw Flare look towards his direction, he nearly soiled himself.

His eyes were layered with terror and his wounds were opened wider than ever due to him exerting a powerful amount of force, now attempting to flee.

Swoosh!

The moment Gajeel turned around however, he saw in front of him, a massive 100m tall bear.

The flames covering its body were simply too dazzling as Gajeel marveled at them, his fear momentarily coming to an abrupt stop in its wild and unrestrained surge.

However, soon a bright silvery ray of light swept towards Gajeel's face.

SWOOSH!

As it neared, Gajeel's temporary state of stagnated fear had resumed.

SHOOSH!

However, at this moment, it seemed as though fate had just another path of events in store for Gajeel.

A silvery, murkish light shot out of his body and instantly collided with the incoming attack.

BOOM!

A massive force between the two forces spawned into the atmosphere.

The earth underneath the collision erupted into bare debris with several lines of cracks running through it.

Whoosh!

Gajeel flew back due to the massive gales of wind kicked up by the collision of attacks.

But he easily found stable footing upon the ground once again.

Yet as he did, his eyes caught sight of a being whom he had truly never imagined to see again.

'M-Metalicana..?' Gajeel's eyes were widened to the max! At this point his blood-red irises were shining with a mixture of emotions.

His body moved on it's own yet before he could even take a step towards the mysterious being, his body collapsed.

Blood sprayed out of his opened wounds as they continued to tear, with its size increasing immensely.

"ARGHHHH!!!!!" His voice, filled with an agonizingly shrill effect, rang out within the chaotic land.

"Gajeel!!" Metalicana, the being Gajeel had suddenly recognised, roared aloud.

His voice was even heavier than Igneel's as it shook the very air.

Swoosh!

Metalicana's figure flashed and in an instant he appeared above Gajeel's fallen body, his shadow looming over with an overbearing majesty.

Powerful blades of wind were released as the creature, Metalonchia, flapped his wings.

Everyone within the chaotic land had their eyes stretched open madly.

Their eyeballs were at its very limits, threatening to fall out at any given moment.

"Dragon! IT'S A DRAGON!!"

They all shouted aloud in perfect harmonization, their voices resonating to create a thunderous rumbling.

Indeed it was as they had exclaimed, a dragon. It was a massive 100m tall dragon with its scales silver in color and its head shaped like thick iron.

It remained afloat within the air above.

Its wings flapped elegantly yet with every sudden movement it carried a swiftness seemingly unmatched.

Opening its giant mouth again he roared, "Gajeel!"
