The group of three most likely known as the rest of the Four Elements, were flung to many different sides of the guild the moment Flare dropped his quaking body in between them. 

Flare grinned for a second but frowned after seeing the way these three reacted. 

He looked around, suspicious about the entire set of events that had already transpired before he finally felt his fur spike in terror. 

His pupils constricted greatly before he looked down at the earth beneath his feet. 

Before he could even move, a monstrous explosion enveloped his entire being.

"Arghh!!!" 

He released a pained cry while his body pierced backwards. 

The Four Elements all smirked before they reorganized their positions, looking rather unharmed and unbothered by Flare's previous attack. 

Among them a blue haired woman known as Juvia began to swirl her hands elegantly while at the same time showed off her disdain mainly aimed towards Flare's futile attempts at harming them. 

She moved and mixed with her water element as if it was her own body. 

Slamming her waterized hands onto the earth she kicked up a massive tsunami which threatened to crush Flare's entire being. 

"Bring Mayhem, Disaster Of The Sea!" As if it couldn't get any more insane the tsunami had suddenly doubled in size. 

The tremering force it released no longer bore shackles.

RUMBLE

Whoosh

BOOOOM

The tsunami finally slammed into Flare's direction wrecking havoc without a single care for what surrounded it.

However, something happened which Juivia hadn't expected. 

Her eyes widened in disbelief, staring intently at her massive tsunami as it slowly evaporated. 

"See I told you your magic was terrible."

"Shut up!! Juvia's magic is elegant!"

"Quiet. Master gave us a mission. Capture him before the rest of Fairy Tail gets here."

"But to think that a little bear is so powerful…"

Crackle

From a distance, footsteps were heard. The menacing aura which permeated the air ever so silently, sourced from that one direction. 

A bright and burning luminance illuminated the entire area as the figure who owned both the aura and flames revealed himself. 

Flare walked with his entire body cladded in a bright hellish flame armor. 

His white scleras were the only thing which remained clearly visible underneath the helmet, only increasing the horrifying pressure which boldly leaked from his very being.

"Forgive me for underestimating the four of you. It seems that I'll have to possibly go all out, right?"

"!!!"

'Bluffing… he has to be bluffing!!.' Totomaru who was the first to react screamed within his mind bubbling with disbelief. 

His dumbstruck expression soon latched itself onto the other three as they all felt a bad premonition arise within their hearts.

Gathering themselves internally they focused on Flare's approaching figure not daring once in their current moments of time to bat an eye away. 

As the four pairs of eyes increased the intensity it had gazed at Flare with, his figure flickered leaving behind not even a brush of wind.

Swoosh

"Huh-"

Crackle

"RUN!!"

BOOOOOOOM

Sol shouted as he shifted his odd body to the side, quickly using the built up momentum to dodge the wave of flames. 

Totomaru unsheathed his sword allowing flames to adorn it within seconds. 

He swiped through the air with swiftness seemingly unmatched, sending out a horizontal arc of flames. 

It collided with Flare's chaotic wave of flames and was instantly cancelled out. However, it gave him enough time to retreat. 

Juvia snorted before giving a quick twirl to which her body responded by instantly becoming liquid giving her a much easier way to retreat. 

Aria was the only unlucky one though. As crazy as it seemed, Flare was mainly targeting Aria.

None of the remaining three seemed to have realised this, not even Aria himself. 

Aria felt the heat envelop him as the flames began to spread onto his body. 

And as if it couldn't get anymore worse, a faint crackling sound was heard from within the chaotic flames. 

Aria's sealed eyes visibly shook. He once again clasped his hands together allowing a faint ripple to escape from in between them. 

"Metsu!!!"

The air around his body hummed while Flare's flames began to dissipate. Flare was beyond shocked. 

'Did he just cancel out my attack?!' 

With a deep sigh in relief Aria landed back onto the ground peacefully. 

He glimpsed at Flare with his contempt hidden behind his quivering eyelids. 

But even so, the smirk he held didn't allow for hesitation as not even an ounce of it was hidden.

Flare's brain was finally beginning to spin around one emotion. 

Rage.

His anger caused his flames to surge with an even stronger force. The wings on his back quivered slightly before they moved without a hint of resistance.

Swoosh

"You damn bastard..!!"

BOOOM

Flare materialized flame like claws on his armor cladded paw and swept down with a heavy pressure following behind. 

Aria vanished and appeared near Flare while charging up once again another Metsu. Flare felt a sudden dread envelop him. 

His wings stiffened and bended with unexpected flexibility. They quickly swatted behind him only to meet with Aria's defenses.

BOOM

An explosion ripped out from in between them as both beings retreated. 

"Damn it..! That move is annoying!" Flare cursed underneath his breath. Aria with the rest of the Four Elements took on a formation. 

They scoffed at him with mockery before they all zoomed forward.

Flare grinned underneath his helmet though. His eyes flashed wondrously as his battle intent soared. 

He loved the intensity of this battle immensely.

"BRING IT!!"

Within a familiar space of darkness, monstrous footsteps echoed out with a mighty rumble. 

A creature with a height of 200 metres menacingly walked forward with scarlet red flames encompassing it's entire body. 

Hidden behind it's beautiful flames were black crimson scales. 

Following that, ragged and ferocious wings were tucked carefully and humongous spikes trailing along it's huge spine were revealed.

Black horns which spiked towards the black sky then came into view. 

The creature proudly held it's figure up while showing off its most vicious snarl. 

ROARRRRRRRRR

The space quivered as the darkness visibly moved. 

As the roar ran throughout the entire world of darkness the flames retreated back into the body of the creature finally revealing what we've known to be a dragon. 

"Huff…" The giant dragon released a smokey breath-like sigh and began to unfurrowl its wings.

"Gahh!! You damn brat!! My ears are something that I need!!"

At the same time it did that, an irritated voice sounded from above. The dragon awkwardly cleared it's throat before speaking, 

"I-I'm sorry.. hehe.." The thunderous voice of the dragon once again echoed out within the space. 

The voice, again irritated, shouted. 

"Damn it! Turn into your human form, you Crimson brat!!" 

"Haha.. okay.."

Vwoom

Swoosh

The dragon, Crimson, was suddenly smothered by a bright light as his humongous body started shrinking. 

Soon the light mimicked a human like silhouette before finally fading away revealing what it hid so perfectly beneath it. 

A tall and handsome young man with a height of 6'4 stood as straight as a pin. 

His spiky crimson red hair fell fiercely to his waist. It fluttered gracefully yet there was no wind. 

Examining his own body, he touched his many scars. Feeling the steeps in them he smiled knowing that he got his body back.

Among his multiple scars there was especially one which couldn't go unnoticed by anyone. 

A three claw shaped scar gleamed fiercely on his chest. 

With a sigh of joy he smiled before turning towards the direction of the voice in.

"So… what now?...?"

{One hour later}

Crimson opened his eyes revealing the immense beauty which laid within them. 

Garnet red irises and vertical slit-like pupils, his mere gaze would make even Igneel shudder. 

"I still can't believe I can take on a human form!!"

"Yeah, yeah. Are you sure you want to keep those scars though..?"

"What?? Of course I do, you damn clean freak!!"

"How dare you! I am not a clean freak! Those scars are just a bit messy, that's all…"

*Sighs* "Forget it."

"Well, I guess this is it, huh?"

"Indeed. In all my years I truly hadn't expected to find someone as brilliant as you. To be able to learn everything and fully adapt to your new species within 17,000 years… unbelievable."

"Haha well I am a gifted man haha!"

"Ugh! Can't you just take one compliment without boasting about yourself for five minutes?"

"Nope!"

"Hahaha! Alright. Well, there's still one thing that's a mystery, you know~"

"Huh? What is it?"

"Your innate ability."

"I-innate ability..?"

"Damn you Crimson! Don't you remember what I said 17,000 years ago? Before we started all of this?!"

"Oh! My innate ability! The one I would gain after completing the first layer of REBIRTH!"

"Finally! Your brain works!"

"Che! Let's just figure out what it is."

"Hmm, alright try activating it while battling these monsters."

"What monsters?"

"These."

"Oh no-"

BOOOOOOOM

"Fuck!"

Crimson was quaking in his boots, terrified as his gaze peered through the thick darkness, gazing intently into the distance in front of him. 

As his gaze focused he saw what looked to be several giant monsters the same size as him, maybe even bigger, rushing toward him with jaws loosely left hanging open. 

As all of this was playing out however, a sudden bright light came to have swallowed Crimson for a moment before it started to stretch and widen. 

Immediately, Crimson was thrown back into his dragon form, glaring madly at the incoming monsters. 

He lifted his upper body with a vigorous viciousness and started leaking his flames. 

SWOOSH

His claws swiftly pierced through the air as they were swallowed in a sea of terrifying yet beautiful scarlet red flames. 

Those feeble monsters stood no chance as they all one by one met their doom. 

SHING

BOOM

Three more arc-like slashes filled with beautiful scarlet red flames pierced towards the remaining monsters as they all now faced Crimson who was in his dragon form, with extreme fear.

ROAAARRRRRRRRRRR

WHOOSH

BOOM

Crimson roared towards them with his pride no longer slumbering, having fully emerged after the convergence. 

His black crimson scales glistened ruthlessly even amidst the absolute blackness of the void like world.

Flames sizzled and echoed brilliantly whereas a brightness seemingly unmatched flashed within the world of darkness.

"So.. how do you feel?"

"Aside from the immense rage I feel towards you I feel nothing else."

"Che! A waste then was it? Hmm… alright let's try it one more time but.."

"Woah woah!! One more time?! And why did you slow down at that 'but'?"

"Ahem..! Y-you see.. you'll have to eat this new batch of monsters.."

"What the hell!!!"

"Listen dragon brat! It's either you eat them and find out your innate ability's power or have no knowledge on it! Choose."

"Urgh..! Fine! I'll eat them!"

"Good!"

VMM

RUMBLE

Crimson zoomed forward as he transformed into his dragon form. 

A devilishly red glow gleamed from within his massive eyes. His mouth was ruthlessly parted leaving massive strings of saliva open. 

CHOMP

CRUNCH

Crimson bit off the head of a giant Cyclops and chewed thoroughly with an expression of disgust visible on his face. 

However, that expression of disgust was suddenly outshone by an expression of pure surprise and delight. 

Tasting the sweet and flavourful specimen which openingly melted in his mouth, Crimson was mystified by the harmonious taste of the Cyclops's head.

Gulp

After chewing for what felt like an eternity yet in reality it was a few seconds he swallowed the mushed up head.

The voice watched on from the shadows with interest. It asked, "Crimson! Are you alright? How do you feel?"

"I...I… feel…"
