The moment Lorrena slashed the sword in the direction of the dazzling, furiously speeding sphere, a thrum—usually low-pitched, rang out from the sword with a great intensity that it simply caused the cavern they were in to quake badly. This thrum reverberated through the walls of numerous distant caverns, causing hundreds of thousands to millions of branching, web-like cracks to instantly appear on their surfaces.

The thrum was so powerful that its astronomically loud, droning-like sound completely drowned out the deafening booming and crackling sounds that rampantly rang out from the sphere. Also, it seemed like the thrum sound caused the sphere to lose some of its massive forward momentum and rotational speed—as it appeared to slow down by a lot.
