1 Chapter 1:Did they forgot about me...

I died .. not in a glorious way, like saving a kid from truck-kun or saving a family from a fire. No, I died while choking on a fucking sandwich hahaha, and now here I am pondering about my life in this vast white space while waiting for the god or goddess to come back.

When I arrived here a minion of the gods told me to wait for my turn and that my soul would reincarnate with the blessing of those said gods I don't know how much time has passed but I can feel it's been a long time.

Heck, I even recall every music I listened to and sang.. and as a music lover that's a hell lot of songs to sing, i also began to recall every movie TV series, and book I have watched and read, and I'm done!

'What should I do i think they forgot about me, well let me pass my life in a review mode then .'

My name is Ace Lotus Smith, my parents were big fans of Japan, and my dad was the biggest fan of their culture and manga, especially One Piece! The number of times I got picked up at school because of that is countless xD. At first, I hated that name but at 12 I started reading it, One Piece I mean, and oh my god did I love it it was beautiful in so many ways sure it was not perfect but like my mother said to me perfection is only in the love a mother as for their child, well... most of them she would say.

I had a great childhood, at 12 years old I dreamed of being able to draw comics, and then it changed the day I saw Pearl Jam in concert that day I wished I could sing to the world. At 15 I fell in love with an actress from a TV series and again my dream changed to become an actor and Mary this actress.

But all of them fell through... I had no talent in any of those, and sadly realizing it, I focused on my studies I was not the most brilliant man but I sure worked hard finishing high school with straight A's and then getting into a good college but even at this point I didn't know what I wanted to do.

So I did the only thing a child who is lost do, I followed my Moms to be close to her and became a pilot, my mother was a hostess so I joined her company, I flew all over the world and ate food from all over the world met people drank alcohol I never knew existed but something was missing ... my dreams, even with all the things I had done, saw and lived I always felt empty like a crystal vase people saw a nice shell but with nothing inside it was sad.

Maybe this is why I don't resent that sandwich for having taken my life, well not like it was his fault to begin with, more like the one who made it should have picked out the bone in the chicken, sigh.

I should have tried harder for my dreams, I realize now I was just scared of failure I could have stayed close to my dreams at least like being a producer a cameraman, or an editor but I just flew away from them heck I even became a pilot to be sure I could be as far away as possible from those thoughts hahaha.

At least I spent time with my mother and when my dad passed away I was there for her at home and work she was never alone I think I was a good son and she was the best mother a son could hope for, perfection except for her cooking ... it was awful I learn pretty young to be the one in the kitchen if I didn't want to have charcoal for dinner! As such I became a great cook plus with all the traveling I had done I learned the dishes of pretty much every country out there which gave me a lot of bonus points with my girlfriends, but since I was away most of the time our relationships never got past 1 or 2 years another sad part of my life.

While I was reminiscing all this, in another place a minion named Alex was talking with another god's minion, Gus!

-I'm telling you Gus we got too much work!

-I haven't had a day of rest for 33 years now i can't wait for the switch men 50 years of work and 50 years of leisure is great but sometimes I wish it would be a shorter cycle

Suddenly the office became cold and both Gus and Alex turned around right in time to see Persephone walking through a portal.

With how nervous he was he didn't even realize that he had pushed his chair and desk way too abruptly and lying in plain view, there was a leftover soul page with no seal on it.

Persephone left through the same portal she came from, while Alex was left with his mouth wide open still not believing it he turned to Gus,

-not to me ...but I've been told that Herbert from plane 56 has been working for 2000 years or so already... without vacation!

Damn, it's a long wait just as I thought that a purple portal appeared in front of me "About the time I thought".

With that said persophone waved her hand and a bright purple light engulfed me for a brief instant before dying down.

-No need for thanks that's my job but it is appreciated little Ace! When you are ready just go through this portal and you will get reincarnated i just gave you all your wishes through my powers. So I wish you a good life!

With that said I took a couple of steps toward the portal looked behind me waved at Persephone and smiled at her one last time before jumping right through it!

Alex who was waiting for his boss's return suddenly felt shivers all over his body!
