9 9: Stop staring at Women

Before jumping into the story, please take note of the 7 stages to becoming a Supreme Magus.

All the meridians were connected from backbone to skull. There are 7 rings attached from the tail of the backbone to the skull.

Primary Mage: classes 1 to 5

Secondary Mage: classes 6–10,

Elder Mage: class 11 and 12,

Master mage: Whoever masters any particular element in nature,

Grandmaster Mage, who masters mystic arts,

Mortal Sovereign Magus: A third eye forms on the forehead of the Maze. [It can be controlled.]

Supreme Magus: The ultimate magician who can defeat 100 mortal sovereigns at once.

*The primary secondary rings contain 5 compartments to fill Aura. A person who could hold Aura inside these compartments can surpass this stage.

As Kent closed his eyes and focused on the aura absorption, the white aura gushed inside his meridians like a river flood. Before this, the aura used to trickle down into his meridians, which were very narrow and twisted to allow the free flow of aura energy.

Like an energy bar, the aura filled his 4th and 5th compartments inside his primary mage cycle. Instead of rushing forward, Kent stabilized his aura.

Like a shaken coke bottle, the aura continues to flood his medians; soon, the 6th and 7th compartments filled up in the secondary mage cycle.

Kent hurriedly stopped the incoming aura and concentrated on refining the aura energy inside his primary mage cycle.

As the primary cycle started revolving at great speed, black impurities gushed out of his body. His heart began racing, and while gasping for air, Kent focused on interconnecting the five compartments inside the Primary Mage cycle.

*[For some new readers who are new to magic novels, if you are a 3rd-class mage, you can control 3 compartments of Aura in the outside world. Similarly, the same pattern continues.]

Finally, after two hours, Kent woke up from his meditation. A serene smile played on his lips.

In one sitting, he moved to 7th class Magus. Without wasting another second, he moved onto the combat room to test his strength.

The combat room is a long rectangular chamber like a firing room in the modern world. As far as he remembered, Kent only studied basic maze skills.

He manipulated the aura and created magic weapons like daggers, swords, sabers, and spears that were gleaming in transparent golden color, and he attacked the dummies who stood at the far end of the combat chamber.

Most of the weapons disappeared in the middle, and only a few daggers could reach the dummies. But they only left a shallow mark on the dummies.

"Worst, these basic skill books are the worst. I must get a powerful skill book. The school only has some trash skills." Kent scratched his head as he analyzed his performance.

It's not easy for outsiders to buy skill books. Even if we have enough gold, we need a Wizard Hall recognition token to buy one. That's why most people depend on the schools.

The schools are also very partial, as they only provide advanced skill books to talented mazes in return for their service.

Even after trying for one full hour, Kent's combat improvement is not that great. Without a skill book, he can't freely manipulate his aura. It's like a scholar who doesn't know the language to speak.

With a sigh, Kent stopped his practice and came outside to roam on streets. All stores were glowing in neon lights, and as night deepened, Kent saw several girls wearing modern clothes moving towards clubs.

Kent tried to keep his thoughts straight as the beautiful ladies in short skirts walked from his side. Those long legs and alluring thighs attracted his gaze. A thick feminine scent filled his nostrils, intoxicating his mind with bad thoughts.

"Stop looking at women. Don't you know any manners?" Suddenly, a lady shouted from his side.

Kent shrugged as he turned toward the voice. The lady's voice was so loud that a few ladies passing before Kent gave a disgusted look.

But after seeing the actual woman who shouted at him, Kent felt a bit of relief. It is Thea, his promised wife.

"Is this your first time seeing women?" Thea questioned with a cold glare. Kent could feel the irritation in her tone.

"Why do you care? I'm not looking at you." Kent replied while staring at her face. Both of them stared at each other with cold faces.

"Why is this idiot not showing any fear?" Thea thought while gripping her fists. Before this, Kent always showed concern for her, as he heartfully felt Thea is his wife. But the recent incident with Thea completely changed his attitude towards her.

"Hmmhh… Let's see how many days you can survive on borrowed money." Thea commented angrily and left with a cold shrug.

Kent stared at her leaving figure for a long time. Several memories stirred in his mind as he remembered how he used to sleep with her on one bed. Even though Thea scolded him every time, she let him sleep by her side until Grandma died.

Thinking about the past, Kent moved forward. He finished his dinner in a small roadside stall where he used to eat every time and turned back towards the Hotel Moon Light.

"I should call my aunt for some advice on skill books; she might help me get an advanced skill book." Kent muttered while walking towards the ground eagles inside the hotel.

As he moved onto the eagle to reach his room, a pair of eyes who stood at the reception continued to stare at him with a wide, open mouth.

_

"Hey, Mona, guess who I saw at Hotel Moon Light?" Ric, the current boyfriend of Mona asked in a surprised tone. Ric is the one who saw Kent inside the hotel.

Who? Mona was questioned with a confused face. (who warned Kent about the repayment of debt),

"Its Kent! I saw him with my own eyes. Also, he is holding a room key stone." Ric said it with a loud exclamation.

"What?! That's impossible. I don't think it would be Kent. You must have seen a similar guy". Mona spoke modestly, as she couldn't believe the news.

"No… I'm damn sure. It's definitely Kent. As I'm with my dad, I can't follow him. Otherwise, I could have sent a video message." Ric spoke while holding his glass orb toward his face.

Mona became silent as she couldn't believe his words. "Ric, let's ask him tomorrow. I'm really curious about how he got money to pay for a room." Mona replied after a long thought.

"Ok… ok… I will meet you tomorrow. I'm with my dad now. Goodbye, babe." Ric disconnected the call with a wave.

Just as he finished the call, the receptionist said, "Sir, the standard rooms are under renovation. Only VIP rooms are available."

"What do you mean? I just saw a pauper goi..." Before Ric finished his rant, his father stopped him by blocking his mouth.

_

Just as Kent prepared for sleep, his old glass orb began glowing and vibrating inside the bamboo bag.

"Why is she calling me now?" Kent muttered while staring at Thea's image on his old glass orb. (Not the sky orb given by his aunt.)
