Turning around baldur walks towards the ruler of vanir,it seems its time for him to meet his grandfather for the first time.

Baldur walks towards his grandfather, only for freyr to walk towards him and hug him

"Hahaha you must be baldur,good child!,you helped grandpa out a lot!,and the way you fought was magnificent!,truly you are a prodigy!" He hands me a candy and looks toward the rest of his people "come! We will hold a feast tonight for the end of this senseless war! and for my grandson! baldur odinson God of the sun!"

Baldur:"..." did he just hand me candy?...its pretty good though.

THAT NIGHT AT THE FEAST

The feast had ended and now Baldur and freyr were sitting,talking to eachother

"So,tell me child, why is it that your here alone ,I thought that the asgardian troops would arrive tomorrow?"

"Ahh that,I'm not part of the asgardian troops,...ehm I sort of ran away from asgard a while back,and when I heard of the rebellion I came to help"

"Buahahaha so you ran away huh,normally I'd say you were a hundred years to young,but seeing your performance I say good Job!,in my age all young men went on adventures throughout the galaxy to make a name for themselves"

Then he looks at me seriously and says "would I be right to guess you plan to leave tonight as you have no wish to deal with asgards troops or go back home"

"....yes"

"And if what I've heard Is right then you also specialise in magic"

Now a little confused as to where this was going baldur nods "yes?"

"Good, then when the troops, come we will all tell them of the deeds of baldur the brave who single handedly took down the apposing force,and left the same night that day after the feast, BUT! but in reality you will stay here for atleast a decade..."

Baldur:"...!!"

"And learn our magic!,both of my other  grandsons are idiots, who weren't interested in it,loki to obsessed with his illusions and thor with caressing his bloody hammer! ,I want to pass on this knowledge to atleast one of my grandsons!"

After listening to his speech ,I slowly nodded, I mean it makes sense to learn light magic before going to learn dark magic as it could potentially help me with any problems I have while learning dark magic.

Looking at him I nod and say "it would be my honor to learn from you, grandfather."

Beaming with happiness, he claps my back while laughing "Good child!,let us celebrate more,the night is still young!!"

Heh I wonder how he'd react if he found out the only reason I'm learning light magic is to be able to learn dark magic faster and safer

6 YEARS LATER

VANAHIEM REALM OF THE VANIR

6 years have passed now since I started learning light magic from freyr,and today is the day I leave to the planet of the vuatu,though freyr had planned for me to stay for atleast 10 years I had surprised him with my genius,finishing my education in a mere six.

Light magic was a lot more useful then expected,for one if I ever fight in a team I'd be both the best support and the tank...Well I'd also be the best range attacker,and main attacker....damn I'm the whole fkn team.

Ehm,moving on from that, at this point if you ain't dead then I can heal ya,I can also remove curses,soothe peoples minds,Instantly calming them down(which would be op against the hulk) and throw around light spears like some sort of busty fallen angle from a shitty ecchi anime....ehm

After saying goodbye to my grandfather I board my ship and set the course to planet vitneearh,to go meet and greet the most dangerous dark magic users in the galaxy,...how wonderful.

frigga:"That boy!, is he mad,send men to bring him back right now!"

Odin looks at the fuming and pacing frigga and says "wasn't it you who said it was fine for him to go travel the galaxy"

Personally odin was quite happy,the boy was getting experience just as odin wanted him to, he had even gotten famous as baldur the brave for talking on a army himself and winning, truly the boy had the makings of a king,but his thoughts were Interrupted by a angry mother.

"Yes! I meant he should travel,and adventure! Not fight an army by himself!,or at all for that matter.!"

"Now come on.."

"Quite!,you will shut up and listen to me rage!."
