Yu Xiaoyu couldn’t fathom why she had made such a bold decision. She looked up at the descending bear paw, her lips trembling, and deep within her eyes, an uncontrollable fear lurked.

Yet, even so, she stood her ground without flinching.

Boom!

The colossal bear paw descended like a pillar of heaven. The ground trembled once again, dust scattering in all directions, as the paw sank a yard deep into the earth.

It wasn’t hard to imagine the scene if that paw had landed on Yu Xiaoyu.

Just inches away from the bear paw, the bruised and swollen-eyed Xiong Zhuangzhuang tightly embraced her, roaring in anger, “Are you crazy? Why didn’t you dodge?”

He had almost had a heart attack from the sight just now. He had taken a punch from that impostor and rushed over to save Yu Xiaoyu.

Otherwise, she would have been turned into a pancake by that kick.

Yet, Yu Xiaoyu’s face showed no panic, but instead, she reached out and hugged Xiong Zhuangzhuang’s arm, her eyes shining brightly.
