“I have taken you to every place that Xuanqing Sect has to offer, I no longer wish to accompany you,” murmured Bei Xinghan, standing gloomily by Xu Yi’s side.
“What would you like to do then?” Xu Yi asked with genuine interest.
“I…” Bei Xinghan hesitated, his eyes filled with confusion.
He wanted to practice swordsmanship. It had become a part of his life, ingrained in his very being. He didn’t know what else he could do besides swordplay.
Play? He had no interest.
But even if he excelled in swordsmanship, his father would never acknowledge him. So what was the point of practicing?
