Underground arena
Sam left the hospital without waking up Olson. He opened the school forum where students kept challenging him.
He simply typed, "I accept all challenges but the venue must be the 'Underground arena'! Today, 6 pm, I will be waiting for everyone!"
Sam didn't know that his message created even more of an uproar among all high. students!
Even teachers were affected! They became angry and harshly criticized Sam after calling him in their office and ordered him to stop the madness!!
Sam refused it coldly!
"Stop it you imbecile or I will expel you immediately!!" yelled the Principal!
The teachers and Principals of other schools were mocking him that he couldn't discipline a student like Sam! He felt thoroughly humiliated at those mocking!
Never in his career, he faced such an impudent student who called for life-death matches over a small incident. He wanted to slap Sam dead to vent his anger!
Sam sneered, "Sure, I will stop it but I will file an FIR against you and all school teachers as you didn't stop the cyberbullying. We will see each other at court! Mind you I have evidence at that! Who knows some of you may have hands in that! "
Bam!!
The Principal was so angry that he punched his table in anger, crashing it to pieces!
"How dare you, you vile kid!" he roared!
"Samuel, listen to us and let this go! Fight in school duelling ground and not in the Underground arena! " said another teacher in a righteous way!
"Yes, Samuel, this is just kids' quarrel! No need to take things this far!" chimed in the fat teacher.
Sam mockingly looked at all the teachers who kept scolding him at his extreme decision.
Where were they when he was bullied by those 'good' students?
"Heh! Whatever you say, my decision won't change! Since they provoked me, they will face my wrath! If you people did your job properly, then this wouldn't have happened!" mocked Sam.
"Insolent child!! You have such bad parenting! Let me teach you a lesson in place of them! " yelled Sam's classroom teacher angrily as he raised his hands to slap him.
Surprisingly, it was the fat teacher who stopped him.
"Fighting now will solve nothing," he said to Sam's classroom teacher and he turned around at Sam.
"Samuel, will you not stop it? Is it necessary to do this? You know it's a life and death duel there! You are so weak right now, a normal and life-death duel is completely different. You have no idea if they will take any drastic steps or not! Give this up and apologise to everyone! Be smart and resolve this for everyone's good!" persuaded the fat teacher in a concerned tone.
Sam shook his head.
"I'm not a weak teacher. I must do this. They hurt Olson today, they will hurt me tomorrow. It's endless. This needs to stop! Don't worry, I won't play games with my life on line." replied Sam.
The fat teacher raised his brows and asked casually, "Oh, how strong are you?"
"I am at lev—... cough I'm not a noob teacher... You can relax!!" replied Sam as he avoided saying his power level.
The fat teacher sneered inwardly but still made a concerned face, "Silly child! I mean no harm! Why don't you just apologise and we will delete the thread?! Isn't that easy? Anyway, don't lose your life in there!"
The principal and the teachers raged again after hearing that! They blamed everything on Sam.
This was what the fat teacher wanted! While he pretended to be a goody two-showed and was gently persuading Sam, his every word blamed Sam and also in return strengthened Sam's resolve to battle in the Underground arena! That way he would get the chance to kill him!
At present, he became a thorn in everyone's eyes. Even if he died, no one would care! Not even the teachers!
Before leaving, Sam arrogantly said, "I will be taking this year's final exam this week and third year's exam next week. I will submit a written application soon! Please be prepared."
"Hmph trash! Be alive to take the exam!" sneered his classroom teacher as he glared at Sam.
The fat teacher curled his lips smilingly at the outcome.
"Mutt, I will be sure to kill you today and get your treasure!!" thought the fat teacher sinisterly.

Lucy met Sam at the cafeteria. She looked at him coldly.
Sam just shrugged. He was used to Lucy's cold yet concerned behaviour these days. She looked indifferent but soft-hearted on the inside. Sam also had mixed feelings for Lucy, after all, she was his girlfriend in his last life. He was just not sure how to describe their current relationship status other than being her fiancee in the name!
"Had lunch? Wanna eat with me?" asked Sam smiling.
Lucy looked at his face coldly as if trying to decipher his real emotions. She frowned and asked, "Are you sure to win a life-death duel? Don't joke around if you don't understand the gravity of this matter!"
Sam nodded.
"As long the power level isn't above level 6, I can fight! Don't worry, I won't joke around about my life. I promise!" replied Sam smiling. He felt warmth in his heart.. at least there was still someone who cared for him...
Lucy clenched her fists tightly. She was too weak to help him. She still looked at him coldly and replied, "Remember your promise."

Many students were shocked when Sam's reply to the challenge. They hesitated whether to go to the Underground arena or not. Some of them challenged Sam in heat of the moment to gain momentary fame, but now they started to back away!
Only the truly powerful and arrogant students from all high schools remained. Some were Jessica and Lucy's suitors, some were jealous of Sam's fame, some wanted to trample Sam.... all in all, they got what they wanted.
They all felt that they could kill Sam anytime and anywhere. Sam was merely their stepping stone!
But never could they have ever imagined that they would need to pay a hefty price for underestimating Sam!!
When they realized it, it was too late!
