5 Trouble.

The surrounding onlookers gasped and whispered upon hearing that.

Yeah, it was true that Superpower Council was responsible for all these kinds if cases for maintaining society or else a non-ability person like Sam wouldn't be able to be alive in the society.

But still crimes always happened! As long as you don't get caught, you were not the thief! Moreover, in tumultuous time even criminals had become powerful. So as long as they don't disrupt the flow of society and interest of government, they would be unscathed.It was all about interest of the parties involved! That's why people like Billy Thompson could exist in light and dark!

In the open, Billy Thompson was an ideal citizen helping government by controlling the criminal of the society while in the dark he smuggled magic weapons, poisons and other illegal things to both government and other powerful people.

Meanwhile Jessica's friends helped her while she had lost her rationality. Only thought she had was to kill Sam as she kept quite. She never felt this kind of humiliation ever since her birth. Due to her father's status, even though she never tried to cultivate her superpower and was pitifully weak, no one dared to cross her! Everybody, be it government officials, school teachers or young people always flattered her and fueled her vanity. She always got whatever she wanted!! But today, a nameless orphan not only crossed her but also publicly humiliated her.

Oh how much she wanted was to gouge his eyes, skin his muscles and tear his limbs!! The only thought left in her mind was to brutally torture him while he begged for mercy. She looked at Sam with bloodshot eyes and vowed to kill him after she had cruelly tortured him. Her face distorted at that thought.

As the onlookers whispered about Sam, Lucy suddenly said as she warned Jessica, "Oh miss Thompson, thanks to you Sam has awakened his Superpower. So please watch your steps."

The onlookers expression changed again. At first it was gloating, mockery, disdain and now it was astonishment and snickering. They at first thought it would be easy to bully a non-ability person but now that Sam was awakened, he would be under protection period for 1 month under which no one would be able to harm him as long he didn't court death himself. It was not any protection law by government but the planet itself to protect the newly awakened person. No one could go against the law or the planetary laws would punish that person.

So Sam was basically safe for atleast 1 month. After that.. haha..

Jessica was furious to wait for 1 month. She clenched her nails on her palms so much that they started bleeding.

"Jessica, its only a month! Bear with it! " whispered a girl beside her.

Slap!~

"Shut up! I don't need you lowly thing to tell me what to do!!" yelled Jessica as she slaped the girl beside her.

The girl quitely sobbed as she nodded. No one felt pity and no one came to help her.. afterall it was her choice to follow Jessica knowing her wilful and arrogant personality.

Sam just looked at the things coldly. He knew what would happen after a month from now. He needed to prepare for that or the one who would die would be him!

Teachers were already informed about the conflict. Two teacher quickly came at the venue and took the group to their office. Since they couldn't offend either Lucy or Jessica, all they could was to glare at Sam. They wrote down the incident and gave a mild punishment of copying notes to Jessica while Sam was suspended for a week. Clearly they were biased towards Jessica. Lucy was helpless as she couldn't interfere, but due to her reporting the matter, Sam was only suspened and not fired from school.

Sam now deeply understood the fate of strong and weak. He was already very grateful to Lucy for helping him. Jessica was silent throughout the entire procedure and just gazed at him sinisterly before leaving and thought, " Even though I can't kill him by my hands in this 1 month but its not like there's no way! "

"I will definitely kill you after a month " said Jessica viciously as she left for treatment.

" Let's go to register your student card." said Olson.

"Yeah. "

At School Office..

The knocked the door before coming in and what greeted them was a fat, greasy male teacher drooling while comfortably sleeping on his revolving chair..

Sam: ⊙︿⊙

Olson: ˇ▂ˇ

Sam: Should we wake him up or come later?

Olson(after being silent for some seconds): Let's try to wake him up..

They adjusted their throat and screamed in unison, "Teacher!!!!! "

The fat teacher was instantly awoke! He nearly fell from the chair and was already in attack mode to the prosecutors!

Sam and Olson just looked at him blankly. Only then the fat teacher noticed both of them. He sighed of relief after which he instantly got angry.

"Why were you both screaming? " he asked angrily.

"We called you for atleast 10 minutes but you kept sleeping! We had no choice!" lied Sam without blinking his eyes.

The teacher looked at them suspiciously.

"Is that so? "

Both of them nodded. The teacher waved his hands, " So what brings you here brats?"

"I just got my superpower. I need to register in my student card." informed Sam.

"Oh... you sure are late in getting your superpower boy! " replied the fat teacher as he scrutunized Sam.

"Okay give me your student ID card. I will register and reupload it" said the teacher. Sam just nodded and gave him his ID. The registration procedure took 10 mins. It had registration of type of superpower, so that Sam won't have any problem in the society or in the council. Its basically identification card for any superpower user. The school's data was directly sent to Superpower Council. Those who didn't get registered was counted as a mob like that criminal before.
