Cole's POV.

" Nimashtia Losani Moranta Dubaria!" She continued.

" I don't understand what she's saying. It appears to be an ancient language." Elder Yvonne said.

" Soleina Forgato Herroz Arya!" Iris said.

" Unis Torga Qui Poliko!"

" How are we supposed to translate when we don't know what language she's speaking?!" Bryan asked.

" Rose, you should be able to translate right?, You're her counsellor." Mr T piped up.

" But I don't speak whatever language she's speaking!"

" Just try." Emily exclaimed.

" She's right Rose. Somewhere deep down you might understand what she's saying." Elder Emlyn said.

" Aretha Rusio Xalino Esus." Iris continued.

" Okay! Okay!, I'll try."

She moved closer and held Iris's hands and her eyes glazed over too.

" She got sucked in too." I sighed running my hand through my hair.

Rose gasped and dropped her hands. She took deep breaths and sighed.

" Are you okay?" Savannah asked and she nodded.

" Did you see anything?" Elder Moira asked.

" Not exactly but I was able to translate a little of what she was saying.'

" What did she say?" I asked and she bit her lip.

" I don't know if it makes sense but, uhm, Closer and nearer, the alignments have been set. Sooner than you expect. That's all I got but I couldn't translate her last statement. Aretha Rusio Xalino Esus, I don't know what that means."

Aretha Rusio Xalino Esus.

" That sounds familiar." I muttered under my breath.

" Do you know what it means?" Elder Eamon asked.

" I don't but I've seen it somewhere before."

Think Cole, think!

Where have I seen those words before?

Then it hit me.

" I remember!, When I was on a quest to retrieve the ring of Kristopis, I came across a symbol with those same words. I wrote it down in my notebook."

I rummaged through my backpack and brought out my black notebook. I scanned through the pages till I found what I was looking for.

" Here. This is the symbol."

We all tried to make sense of the symbols but we couldn't. It looked like a bunch of full moons randomly pieced together.

" I've seen this before!" Ara exclaimed.

" Where?" Seb asked.

" In one of my astrology books."

" Do you know what it means?" Rose asked but Ara shook her head.

" I don't remember. But I brought the book with me. To school."

" Can go get it?" I asked and she nodded running out of the office.

She came back a few minutes later with a really fragile looking book.

" It's kind of a family heirloom. It belonged to my great great grandmother." She said placing the book on the table. She opened the pages gently so as not to damage the delicate pages.

"Here it is." She pointed to the symbol in the book.

" Aretha Rusio Xalino Esus means the alignment of the moon and comet. It signifies a rare day in which a comet paddes by the earth the same day a full moon occurs. It's a day when Supernaturals are at their peaks."

" Blue Moon." I mumbled.

" And according to what I've heard, the next blue moon is taking place on the 31st of August, this year."

" Wait!, You don't think-"

" That's the day the war is taking place." Elder Yvonne completed.

Iris's eyes returned back to normal and I gulped.

" What happened?, What did I say?" She asked and the room went quiet.

" What did I say?" She asked again but noone answered.

She looked at Mine and Ara's notebooks on the table and gulped.

" This has something to do with the war doesn't it?, W-w-w-when is the next blue moon?"

" The 31st of August." Ara replied quietly.

" Next year?" Iris asked hopefully but Ara shook her head.

" This year."

" No! No! No! We can't. It's-it's not possible. H-ho-how am I supposed to train an entire army by the end of August?!, I-I-I can't!" She cried.

" Everything will be fine Iris." Emily said.

" No. It won't. I have less than 3 months to train our fraction so we can fight magicians. How am I supposed to do that in very little time? I can't, I can't do this."

She ran out of the room and I followed her.

When I got to the arena, she was pacing on the beach. I spread my arms open for her. She ran into them and I wrapped it around her tightly.

" It's okay Iris, let it out ." I cooed as she cried into my shirt.

" I can't do this Cole. I'm not cut out for it. I can't."

" Iris don't say that."

" Cole I have less than 3 months to train an army. How?!, We're not ready, I'm not ready. I thought we still had months or even years. But this, this is too soon. I'm just a teenager Cole, this is-this is too much pressure."

" We'll be fine Iris. We just have to put in our best."

Iris's POV.

" Line up." I said as Cole and I entered the arena and he proceeded in joining his fellow guardians.

" The war has been set to take place on the 31st of August. I really wish that I can change it. Honestly, I'm scared. I don't know what to do."

I sighed and then continued.

" I wish we had a longer time to prep. Leading you to battle would be a suicide mission. Because we are far from ready for that war. So today, I'm officially asking you to withdraw yourselves as guardians. I can not let you go out there and die. I understand your decision, I would back out if I could but sadly I can't."

" We are not going anywhere. We fight together." Bryan said.

" If the war is near then so be it. We will fight until the very end."
