Supernaturals: Legends of Iris.

Long ago Supernaturals and mortals lived in harmony, until the magicians attacked the mortals. They saw them as lesser than Supernaturals while we saw them as our equals. So, they rebelled and became the outcasts. After this we had to erase the memories of the mortals for we feared if there was another rebellion their lives would be in grave danger. Then we spread all over the world,Vampires, Werewolves, Elementists, Shape shifters and many more. The Shape Shifters and the Elementists stayed to fulfill a prophecy. Then the magicians attacked again and this time they attacked the Shifters and Elementists, the other Supernaturals could not help us because of this same prophecy. " For a time will come when one of your own will turn and their shall be war between the Supernaturals. The elements, and the shifters shall fight against magic and their fate will be decided by one yet unborn." So we started training, seeing that the Magicians were one of the most powerful Supernaturals ever. But, we couldn't help but hope for the one ' yet unborn', our Elysian, our Chosen one. No one knows where it will be born, in the hands of the Magicians, or with us. Either we hope we'll ready when the war comes. We are THE SUPERNATURALS!

Crest Hill High was a beehive of activities as usual. Ever since the Elysian had been discovered it became a tourist attraction to shifters and elementists from all over the world.

Everything had been put in place for the Alpha Council's meeting with the Elysian. It was meant to be a private meeting but word had spread in the supernatural community of the gathering.

One by one the Alphas arrived. Most of them came with their Lunas and Betas and their guards. The Elders and the Councilmen welcomed them and led them into the Great Hall where their meeting would be taking place behind closed doors.

The Guardians of the Dragon's Heart or as they were commonly called, the guardians were dressed in their official uniforms which was basically a black double breasted jacket that had different medals and laurels on them and matching black slacks. They were meant to observe and to protect not only the Elysian but also the Alphas.

Rose Mortez, the Counsellor and the Elysian's adviser was excluded from the guardians. As the second in command, she was meant to sit with the Elysian. She wore a long light blue gown with gold arm bracelets and her vibrant red hair was left down cascading down her shoulders till they reached her waist. She welcomed the Alphas as they entered the hall.

Dean Hernandez entered the hall with his Luna, Jasmine Hernandez by his side and with his guards in tow. He scanned the faces of the guardians one by one and grinned when his first son standing there. He felt so proud of his first son for being part of the Elysian's top fighters.

Letting him come to a shifter school was a tough decision he and his wife had to make as his son was next in line for the title of Alpha. He should have been with the pack learning. His pack members had disagreed with his decision at first but they came around later on when his son started going on quests bringing glory to their pack.

Dean's eyes glazed over as he mind linked his son.

" Looking sharp." He said.

" Thanks dad. I shouldn't be talking to you right now, I'm on duty." His son replied.

" So you couldn't even say hello to your parents because of that?" His wife asked joining their conversation.

" Hola mama."

" Hola mi hijo. How are you?"

" I'm fine mama. Now can you guys please get out of my head?"

" Fine. But we'll talk later." Dean replied.

" Si papa."

Dean dropped the mind link and took his wife's hand as they approached the Counsellor. They were about bowing when she stopped them.

" Please don't." She said smiling and they nodded. She held her hand out and they took it.

" Rose Mortez."

" Dean and Jasmine Hernandez. Alpha and Luna of the Imperidium pack."

" I knew your face was familiar, you're Cole's parents." She replied.

" Yes we are." Jasmine said.

" You're welcome. Have a seat."

Ara took in deep breaths as she tried to regulate her heart beat. She wanted to lick her lips but she stopped when she remembered she had gloss on them. She had never worn a dress as fancy as the one she was currently wearing.

According to what the seamstress had told her, it was made from the finest Egyptian cotton and the appliques had been hand woven on it. She was wearing a pale pink gown with flower appliques on them. Her long dark hair had been pulled into a fish braid courtesy of Shirley.

" I really don't want to do this." She said and Shirley smiled.

" We have too."

" But everyone will be staring."

" They will. Apart from the Elysian, you are the only known spirit user and we are magicians. They're bound to stare. Just don't let it bother you." Seb said placing his hand on her shoulder. She smiled in return and entered the hall.

There were stares and whispers but she didn't let them bother her.

' Mama would be so proud of me.' She thought as she took a seat next to Rose.

The Alphas and Lunas had all arrived and were all seated in the Great Hall. There were close to about a 100 people seated in the room. They waited patiently for the Elysian so that the meeting could begin.

She came in. And she had shattered all their expectations. She walked in dressed in her crazy colour day outfit, a fuschia pink organza jacket with a yellow camisole and royal blue slacks. She finished it off with bright green boots and she left her hair a wavy mess on her head.

Travis sighed once he saw her outfit choice.

' I spent over a thousand dollars for a dress that she could wear to the meeting and she comes in dressed like that?!, Why doesn't she ever listen to me?!' He thought.

He hadn't even had his own child and he was already tired of children. But yet he still loved them.

Chloe sat with her mate, Ryder and his cousin Blake sat next to them with his Luna, Alex.

Chloe was a very violent prone Luna and it was due to what she had been through as a child. Her mate, Ryder was the only one that could tame her blood thirsty wolf because he also had a blood thirsty wolf. Ryder's pack was one of the strongest in the entire world. They were natural killing machines.

Blake's pack was also very powerful. They were very skilled with weapons. But unlike his cousin's Luna, Chloe, his Luna was much more calm. Alex was more trusting. She preferred peace to violence. The Alphas and Lunas were probably the youngest on the Alpha Council

" Is that really the Elysian?" Alex asked Blake.

" Hard to believe isn't it?" He replied.

" I was expecting someone older and larger." Ryder said truthfully.

" Bigger and older isn't always better." Chloe stated.

Iris took her seat on the throne and the meeting began. Various topics were discussed. The guardians, Seb and Shirley, the discovery of Spirit and Ara. The date of the war was officially announced and the Alpha's offered some of their warriors to fight alongside the army.

The reversing of Carl's banishment was brought up and it sparked a controversy in the meeting. Some Alphas felt it was wrong while others supported her decision.

" She shouldn't have let him come back. He betrayed his people." Ryder said to Alex.

" But according to the reports he has changed. Plus he had already suffered enough punishment from the magicians." Alex argued.

" I have to agree with Ryder. He is still a danger to them." Blake said.

" What do you think Chloe?" Blake asked.

" I'm going to go with Alex." She said and they looked at her in disbelief.

" Everyone deserves a second chance."

" Elysian you must reconsider this decision. He is still a threat." And Alpha said.

" Which is why he is under constant surveillance." Iris replied bored out of her mind.

" This is preposterous!, Why would she let him back in?, It's as bad as her taking a rogue in!" Alpha Markus Triol said.

He was an egoistic man whom everyone secretly hated. He was very annoying and he had a tendency of challenging people.

" Not all rogues are bad." Chloe snarled. Her father was a rogue that had been brutally murdered by an Alpha in front of her very eyes.

Ryder rubbed her wrist in a bid to calm her down and it worked.

" I think it was a stupid decision that should be reversed immediately." Alpha Markus continued.

Iris's ears perked up at his statement and she smiled sadistically.

" Is that a challenge I hear?" She asked grinning like a Cheshire cat.

" Alpha Markus challenging the Elysian is like challenging another Alpha." The head councilman said.

" I am aware." Alpha Markus replied.

" I accept your challenge." Iris said smirking

The room was buzzing in anticipation of the fight.

" Since you challenged the Elysian, she gets to choose which form to fight in."

" Human. With weapons." Iris replied.

" Very well. Alpha Markus Triol and the Elysian will in their human form, till death."

" Hold up, did you just say till death?" Iris asked the head councilman.

" Yes Elysian. In challenges like this, it's a battle till one of the contender dies."

" No! No! No, we don't do that here. It's battle till one of the contender surrenders."

They filed out of the room and they were directed to the training area by the guardians. They entered the huge space taking in the beauty of the arena. Alpha Markus got ready for the fight. He had ditched his shirt and was know practising with his sword.

" Who do you think is going to win?" Ryder asked Blake.

" Markus."

" Why?" Alex questioned.

" He is more experienced. He has had years of training and fighting experience. The Elysian doesn't even have up to a year." He reasoned.

The Elysian walked in dressed in a light blue tank top and grey sweatpants. She did a couple stretches and then she put her hands into her pocket and just stood there. She didn't even bother practising.

Chloe studied the Elysian discreetly. She was surprised by how lean and toned her body was. It was something that could only be achieved through vigorous training. Her blonde, wavy hair had been put into a ponytail.

The fight began and within 5 minutes, the Elysian had knocked Markus's sword out of his hands. She picked it up and threw it to him again.

" Get up." She said moving back slightly.

The Alpha Council continued to watch in awe as the Elysian fought. She moved swiftly and efficiently. And that was something they were not expecting.

Iris sighed as she knocked the sword out of Alpha Markus's hand for the third time.

" You know it's called a challenge for a reason. It's meant to challenge both of us. Not just you." She said and he growled.

His sword had been kicked to the farthest side of the arena so he couldn't reach it. Iris smiled and ditched hers too.

" What is she doing?" Chloe muttered under her breath. The Elysian had the advantage since she still had her sword yet she tossed it away.

" Come on big guy, hand to hand." Iris taunted the already angry Alpha. He charged towards her but she knocked h down with a windmill kick. He fell and she tutted.

" I thought you'd be stronger than this."

He ran towards her and punched but she blocked each punch before giving him a punch of her own and kicking his gut. He stumbled back and she swung her right foot and kicked his temple. He fell flat on the floor and she smiled.

" The Elysian wins." The head councilman announced.

" What happened to no fighting till death?" Alex muttered as she noticed Alpha Markus was not breathing.

Iris turned to look at the young Luna and said,

" Listen."

Alex strained her ears and was relieved to hear the faint beating of Alpha Markus's heart.

Iris smiled and gave them a curtsy before vanishing. She entered her room and smiled at the white dress that sat on her bed.

Her plan had worked. She knew most of the Alpha's would not take her seriously since she was a teen. So she decided to spite them by wearing her crazy colour day outfit. Although some of them had laughed at it, others felt slightly offended. She also knew that most of them would disagree with her decision of letting Carl in and that one Alpha would definitely challenge her.

She wanted to show them that just because she was young didn't mean she was dumb. She had a plan, although she didn't know how it would end.

The doors of the Great Hall opened and the Elysian walked in this time she was dressed in a one shouldered white floor length tulle gown. She wore two flower patterned golden arm bracelets and she had a golden band on her head. Her wavy hair had been parted in the middle and pulled into an elegant chignon at the back of her head.

Everyone in the room bowed in respect as she sat on the throne with a slight smirk on her face.

The doors of the Hall were opened and the Media of the supernatural world trooped in. There were various cameras and journalist from different countries and stations there to cover the event.

Kim Moon and her husband watched the gathering on the village's tv with teary eyes. She felt very proud of her daughter. Ara was seated by the left hand side of the Elysian and the Elysian was actually speaking to her. The villagers that used to mock her family were speechless. A few villagers didn't want to believe it was Ara on the screen but they were convinced when her name was shown and she was announced as the only known spirit user aside the Elysian.

The meeting ended and the Alpha Council requested for a tour of the school.

Ryder and Blake as well as their Lunas took in the scenery of the school. It was a really beautiful place. Both Alphas decided to send any wolf that was interested to the school. They saw Dean Hernandez, a fellow Alpha and his Luna, Jasmine Hernandez talking to the principals of the school and they approached them. The principals excused themselves to speak to some other Alphas.

" Hello Dean, Jasmine." Blake greeted and Dean and Jasmine smiled in response.

" Where's your son?" Alex asked after they had made small talk.

Dean was one of the few Alphas to send his son to a supernatural school. And he made a great decision by doing so. His son was famous for going on different missions and quest that were always successful.

" He should be around here somewhere." Dean replied. His eyes glazed over as he mind linked his son.

A few minutes later a tall guy dressed in a guardian's uniform approached them. He smiled at them politely as he shook their hands.

" This is my son, Cole."

Cole was a perfect blend of both his parents. He had his father's height and tanned skin (although his was a little bit lighter) and his chiseled jaw. And he also had his mother's thick black hair, high cheekbones and crystal like icy blue eyes.

" It's an honour to meet The Cole Hernandez." Ryan said and Cole grinned.

" How does it feel to be a guardian?" Chloe asked.

" Stressful." He replied.

" The Elysian must be training you intensively." Alex mused and he smiled.

" You have no idea."

" Have you met your mate?" Blake suddenly asked and he nodded.

" You didn't tell us!" His mother exclaimed and he smiled sheepishly.

" I've been busy."

Iris approached them smiling and they bowed.

" Please don't, you don't have to bow everytime you see me." She said.

" Okay Elysian." Ryder said.

" And you don't have to call me Elysian, just call me Iris."

" Well you all know her as Iris the Elysian, this is my mate." Cole said and they stared at him in shock.

" I'm sorry did you just say mate?" Chloe asked and he nodded.

" My son is mated to the Elysian?, Dean hold me I think I might faint." Jasmine said clutching her husband.

Iris just smiled at them and shrugged.

Chloe and Alex were surprised by how calm the Elysian was. She basically had the weight of her entire fraction on her shoulder yet she still joked around.

The Alpha Council left the school premises alongside the Guardians, The Counsellor and the Elysian. They were being escorted out of the forest that led to the school when the guards that are were usually stationed at the entrance to the school ran towards the Elysian. They stopped in front of her and bowed.

" Elysian there has been a sighting of magicians near the forest." They said.

The Alpha Council looked worried but the Elysian just smiled.

" You ready?" She asked her guardians and they smirked in response. They changed into their mission suits and cracked their knuckles.

Iris chuckled at the worried faces of the Alphas. They usually didn't have to deal with Magicians since they weren't fully in their fraction.

" Relax, we got this." She said.

Her own mission suit came on and her half mask covered part of her face and she smirked.

" We're just gonna have a little fun."
