Iris's POV.

It's been a week since we started training and the warriors have improved drastically.

" Alright people, 12 against 12. Team captains Rose and Carl." I instructed as I entered the arena.

" Cole!" Rose and Carl said simultaneously and then glared at each other. Cole chose Rose's team over Carl's.

I sat on a rock throne as I watched them fight noting each wrong move, each technique.

The team consisted of 12 shifters and 12 elementists. Each having the four fighters of three kinds.

I had written down each of their names and their abilities.

REGULAR SHIFTERS

Rose- Lioness. :

Carl- Peregrine Falcon .

Cole- Wolf.

Irene- Dragon.

PART SHIFTERS

Niel- Jaguar, Shark, Chimaera, Hawk.

Erina- Sting Ray, Tiger, Fox, Minotaur.

Jo- Leopard, Griffin.

Brooke- Bear, Gorilla, T-Rex.

ALL SHIFTERS

Daisy- Water.

" Stop." I yelled and they stopped fighting.

" Why are you hesitant?, Attack!, This isn't a movie where the bad guy waits for you to get ready before attacking. They'll attack you right there!"

A student came running into the arena and bowed when he saw me.

" I'm sorry to disturb your training Elysian, but Mr T requests your presence and also that of your warriors at the entrance of the school."

" Is something wrong?"

" I have to see it for yourself."

I alongside the warriors made our way towards the entrance. Mr T, Emily some teachers and a few students were there.

" What's going on?" I asked.

Mr T pointed towards two people. As soon as I looked closer, I realised they were pointing to Seb and Shirley.

" Guys!, You didn't tell me you were coming." I exclaimed walking over to them.

" It wasn't meant to be a surprise. So are you surprised?" Shirley asked and I grinned.

" Definitely."

Cole's POV.

We stood there watching as Iris spoke to them. She hugged the girl and then, she kissed him.

Bryan and Chris came to stand next to me. To anyone who was looking, they were just placing their hands on my shoulders. But they were actually holding me back and I was grateful for that. If they hadn't done that I would have attacked him for touching my mate.

I felt Claws surfacing and I was trying my best to push him down. A growl was forming in my throat but I forced it back down. I could feel my control slipping in every passing second.

" Cole, breathe." Bryan warned.

I was sure by now my blue eyes were already black.

" If you attack him Iris will never forgive you." Rose whispered coming to stand in front of me and I was grateful to her for blocking the view.

" This is Sebastien, this, is Shirley." Iris introduced.

I'll admit that I was jealous of Sebastien. He had the person I loved the most. But it was no one's fault but mine. And now I have to bare seeing her with another guy.

" Line up." Iris barked.

" Sebastien, Shirley, meet the front line fighters. Guys, meet Sebastien and Shirley Romero. The good magicians."

She introduced us one by one and then smiled.

" So what do you guys say, Magicians vs warriors?"

" With all due respect Iris, I don't think that's a fair fight." Tiara said and Iris smirked.

" You wanna bet on it?"

" No!" Tiara replied raising her hands in mock surrender.

" Shut up Carl!" Niel suddenly exclaimed.

" What's going on there?" Iris asked.

" Nothing. I'm sorry for interrupting." Niel mumbled.

" I'll let you off this time with a warning. I'm talking to you too Carl." Iris stated.

Carl said something under his breath and Iris paused.

" What did you say?"

" Nothing."

" I already warned you. 6 laps around the arena. Now!"

" No."

" Excuse me?"

" Carl just shut up and do it." Logan piped up.

" I said no. I'm sick and tired of listening to her! You guys treat her like she's some kind of goddess!, But she's not. She's just a weirdo with powers. She's a pathetic loser-"

" I wouldn't get her angry if I were you." Shirley cut in.

Iris took in deep breaths in a bid to calm herself down.

" Shut up you witch!" Carl yelled and Shirley jumped back.

" Okay that's enough!" Sebastien exclaimed finally speaking.

" What did you call me?" Iris asked. Her eyes were closed and her hands were fisted by her side.

" A pathetic loser!"

She opened her eyes and they glowed a deadly shade of red.

" Oh no." Sebastien said.

" Everybody grab on to something." He yelled as the wind started picking up.

Iris's aura was pure red and she levitated in the air high above everyone else. The four elements circle round her like rings revolving round a planet. Everything not firmly rooted to the ground was flung away, weapons, training gears, water bottles heck, even some trees.

" What's going on?!" Mr T yelled as he entered the arena holding on to a pole.

" Carl!, That's what happened!" Brooke yelled in response.

" If she doesn't stop now, she's going to destroy the whole school." Shirley yelled.

" Someone has to calm her down!, Cole?" Rose turned to look at me and I nodded.

" Iris you need to calm down!, You have to stop before you do something you'll regret."

" So now I make bad decisions?!" Iris said getting even more angry.

" Well that didn't work!" Rose exclaimed.

" Seb?!" Shirley yelled turning to her brother and he sighed.

" Clyleus." He said and a shield formed around him

He moved closer to Iris covering his face to protect it from the dust particles in the air.

" Iris!"

" It's me, Seb!"

" Seb?"

" Yes Seb. You have to calm down. Please." He pleaded.

" Seb." She said and the wind finally calmed down. She came down and hugged him while he stroked her hair.

" He's wrong." Seb whispered.

" They said the same thing I couldn't-"

" Don't listen to them. Okay?"

She nodded hugging him tightly.

" It's okay babe."

It hurt to watch them but I had gotten something out of it.

Seb must know the cause of Iris's disappearance. She must have told him.

" Is everything okay?" Bryan asked me as he came into the arena. I looked around saw that the entire school was here.

" Can somebody please explain what happened?" Mr T questioned and Iris sighed.

" Mr T I'm sorry. It's my fault. I just-"

" It was Carl." Allen said cutting in.

" Carl's been getting on everyone's nerves. Am I right guys?" Tiara asked and we nodded in agreement.

" It's probably cause he thought he was the Elysian." Irene said.

" Wait what?!" Rose exclaimed.

" Yeah, that's right. Carl always thought he was the Elysian. Before the tournament he was going on and on about how he was going to beat Crest Hill but when Iris beat him he got mad. Then she was revealed as the Elysian and he was jealous." Niel explained.

" What-, Niel that's crazy!" Carl exclaimed.

" I wouldn't be surprised if he's already turned evil." Irene added.

" Guys I am not turning evil." Carl protested.

" Well there's no harm in taking the test." Bryan said smiling.

" There's a better way." Emily said.

" How?" I asked.

" The ring of Kristopis." Mr T said.

" Bring out the ring."

" Iris, would you do the honours?" Emily asked and Iris sighed.

" Fine." She put on the ring and there was a blinding light.

What is up with supernaturals and blinding lights?!

The light finally dimmed and it revealed Iris. She was no longer in her training clothes. She was wearing a long purple gown with gold bracelets and a golden band with an orb in the middle on her head.

She walked over to Carl and forced him to kneel. She placed her hand on his forehead and both their eyes closed automatically. The orb on the head band started glowing.

" What is she doing?" Basil asked Mr T.

" She's going through his heart. That's how she'll know if he's evil or not."

Iris suddenly jumped back massaging her forehead and taking deep breaths. She had a puzzled look on her face and she couldn't meet our eyes.

The look on her face and the fact that she was avoiding our eyes answered our questions.

Carl had turned evil.
