Kate's voice seems to be coming from 3 blocks away. She was tailing me.

It's no wonder. They know we have Cora in our care after all.

Thinking this, I rushed to the room and saw they were okay.

'seems they haven't been here, yet. That is weird, what are they waiting for'

I widen my eyes when I started smelling something

Wolfsbane!

I looked outside the window and saw a circle of mountain ash around the building.

sneacky bastards.

"Ha.ha..haha...hahahaha son of bitches" I laughed

Melissa and Cora walked towards me "Are you okay?" they asked.

I nodded "Cora, tell me what does your sense of smell tells you?" I asked Cora to see if she can smell from here.

She sniffed the air "Nothin-" she stopped as she started sniffing more around the water supplies "Wolfsbane" she frowned.

I nodded "Not just that, it seems we are surrounded by hunters and trapped inside mountain ash"

Even though I asked for no weakness, I think I can still be trapped in a circle of mountain ash? Guess we'll find out sooner rather than later.

I hugged Melissa "I'm going to teach you how to take advantage of your powers, right now" she nodded and hugged me back

I started explaining

"First of all, all your sense have been hightene to higher levels than your average human. focus on your hearing and tell me what you hear?" I asked her.

She focused and soon she was holding her head as there was too much noise.

I grabbed her hands and rubbed them gently "Focus" my whispered carried through her brain as it sent a signal to her brain and soon she started focusing more.

"I can hear...your heart, Cora's heart...I can hear everybody's heart inside the building, their breathe, their movements, every squake the floor makes when walking, I also hear the people outside even though we are all the way up here!" She explained, amazed by her power

I chuckled "Okay, what does you smell tells you now?" I asked

Melissa focused on her sense of smell now and forrowed her brows "Why do I smell another bitch on you, two actually"

Well, her nose seems to be working just fine.

I was behind her and walked her to the window, as we stare outside the window I pressed my crotch on her butt and she raised hers up feeling me up and down.

"Tell me. focus on your sight and tell me what you see" I whispered on her ear.

"hmmm" she moaned first before opening her yellow glowing eyes.

"I see more than I thoughy could be possible" she responded

"Tell me, what is the furthest you can see"

She focused her sight as far as she could "that" she pointed

I looked over and saw a daredevil crawling up the wall of a building, the building was 5 miles away.

"What isnhe wearing" I asked her to see of she can see more details.

"He isn't wearing safety, has white sneakers, red shirt and khaki pants" she answered

She is still young, she won't age. at least not for a while, her healing would keep her this good looking so she has a lot of potential if she can see a person perfectly 5 miles away.

I smiled at her and kissed her lips "You are goo" I complimented her.

"Thank you" she said kissing me back smiling, feeling proud that I praised her abilities.

I separated from her much to her displeasure "We have many more abilities, we have super strength, super speed, we can retract our claws and fangs just for show. Your bite kills regular vampires and you can see the memories of other by inserting your claws behind the neck of a person. We also have the power to take pain away, I show you how to do that later"

She found taking the pain away interesting, since she work in a hospital, she thought this would be helpful. Of course, she would have to be careful not to be seen.

"Vampires?" she tilted her head in confusing.

"Right, Cora do you have the bestiary you showed me last time?"

Cora nodded and took out a thick, hard cover book from her backpack

Melissa looked at it "Why are you carrying this with you? isn't it heavy?"

Cora did a pose showing her biceps "Strong"

I laughed

"Here, this book has the creatures that exist in this world....Most of these creature went extinct due to a powerful creature absorbing them and erasing their traces from the world" I said.

"This world?....extinct?...abosorb?" she emphasized

"There are worlds out there besides just ours, one day we'll get a chance to travel them but that would take time. Now, Extinct because somewhere around the 11th century. Three species; Werewolves, Vampires and witches banded together to create a creature capable of consuming supernaturals except those of the same species who created it. The creatures name is Malivore but he was also know as the, Eater of the Dark. Malivore isn't active now, but one day will, so I want you to be ready for when it happens. Though Malivore can not absorb Witches, werewolves and vampires, it can still hurt you" I paused after explaining this because for some reason My hearing wasn't able to hear anything from the abandoned building down the block.

Kate was sweating bullets "I was right. He is the alpha that attacked me that night"

She looked to her right at an old man sitting on the couch listening to the recording "This Malivore creature" he pondered.

His hands shook with fear, a creature capable of erasing whole bloodlines from the world.

"Gerard, did you hear what I said?" asked Kate annoyed that Gerard wasn't paying attention to him.

Gerard turns to her "hhmm?"

Kate just shook her head in disappointment.

"I said, that sexy boy over there is the alpha that killed my men" she repeated.

"Hmm, We've dealt with alphas before but you said this one different, tell me again how different?" Gerard asked taking out his own Bestiary and stopped at the werewolf page.

Kate nodded and started explaining what happened and how he was able to hunt like a true predator attacking at the right time.

"But that doesn't worry me. He is fast enough to evade the speed of bullets and his eyes are different than normal alphas an-"

"How different" asked Gerard making Kate pause.

"They were blood red, like an alpha but his pupils weren't round like usual, they were reptile like, with slits as pupils." Explained Kate.

"Interesting" said Gerard writing down on his blank page.

"What else can you tell me?"

Kate nodded and started explaining again "I saw the men that he bit turned to black goo"

"A lethal venom" whispered Gerard writing down.

He was intrigued by this new alpha that seemed to appear out of no where.

He closed his book and approached the window. picked up his binoculars and saw something that made him stumble back.

"What's wrong?" asked kate.

"He is looking right at us" said Gerard lowering his binoculars.

Kate furrowed her brows because he wasn't looking before. She saw through the window of their apartment and saw he was no longer there.

"He is not there" she said.

Gerar opened his eyes wide, "He heard us, he knows we are here"

"He can't" said Kate "We sealed this place in mountain ash as well, and we are also burning sage like that witch told us to"

"I don't know how but it seems he did" said Gerard pointing at the entrance of the hotel.

Kate turned and saw Ezekiel trying to go outside the hotel only for an invicible barried to stop him "that's good, the mountain ash is working"

"We need to leave" Gerard started grabbing his stuffs

Kate not understanding what he meant asked "why? he is definetly trapped besides there is mountain ash around this building aswell, no werewolf can get in"

"That isn't just a werewolf" he paused "That...is a beast and we don't have the praparations to take him down, he can evade our bullets, his sense are capable of hearing us even with protection, his bite is lethal. it seems to me that I don't know anything about this new werewolf beside what you told me. I need to do research first. Figure out how to kill something that might not even be just a werewolf" he said looking over at the book on the table whose pages turned by the wind and stopped at "Hybrid". He groaned in desperation.

'let's hope not' Gerard thought.

Gerard was leaving but Kate decided to stay. She wanted to know more about this boy.

She wanted to see if he remembers her, but something tells her he will.

Soon she moved to her room.

If they stayed a little longer they would have seen Ezekiel forcefully walked through the mountain ash barrier.

In this abandoned building Kate had fixed up a room yesterday for her to stay. She opened her closet and inside the closet there was only one thing.
