Supernatural High (Lesbian Romance)

Fenris Tal is a badass, but she never wanted to be. However people seem to expect her to be heartless and power hungry, when deep inside she's just a big softy. All this might have to do with the fact that she's half-demon and half-alpha werewolf. Also because she has access to all abilities from both species, which is unheard of with half-bloods. This makes her the strongest living supernatural creature around. But she can't hide what she is. Fenris hates the persona pushed on her, all she wants is her mate, her one true love. But with her good looks and bad-girl persona, also the fact that many girls try to throw themselves at her, Fenris is called the player of the town. Annabelle Rhyder is an omega werewolf. She is a small shy girl and gets picked on by the more popular kids. She's easily one of the prettiest girls in her school, but doesn't seem to realize it. In her pack being an omega is like a curse, you are constantly put down, forced to work for the alpha, and even physically bullied. If it wasn't for Annabelle's older sister Mary she would have more bruises and scars like the omegas in other packs. That's the other thing, she's the only omega in her pack. Annabelle can't wait to find her mate but she's scared, she wants a loving relationship, not a controlling one. She has also been told her mate will reject her. Her heart can't take that kind of pain. Annabelle and her family change packs because her sister meets her mate and will be the new luna of his pack. Annabelle catches a glimpse of Fenris with girls all around her and immediately doesn't want anything to do with her. After a encounter with Fenris, Fenris tells Annabelle they are mates, but Annabelle doesn't believe her. Will Fenris convince Annabelle and how far will she go to do so? Or will something happen and Fenris never gets the chance.

Chapter 9: Annabelle

The first week of school is finally over and Annabelle couldn't be more excited for the rest of the year. She had actually had a good time so far, she had made not one but two friends. Her first friend is Johnny, even though Mary had warned her about him she decided to trust her own eyes. So she still decided to be friends with him.

Her other friend is a shy vampire girl named Elisa. Elisa was a fairly weak vampire, she needed glasses and her reflexes were that of a human. But her and Annabelle had many shared interests and a lot in common. They both loved music and arts. As well as anime, Annabelle's favorite is Inuyasha while Elisa's is Ouran High. Elisa had also been bullied in school before she moved and came to Clearwater Academy.

Elisa is a little taller than Annabelle with short platinum blonde hair that looks almost white. The unique look of Elisa is that she has brilliant blue eyes and short fangs. Most vampires tend to have red or deep purple eyes, plus their fangs can elongate for feeding.

Annabelle had wanted to hang out with Elisa today after school, but it was Friday and her family and Ray's were going to have a family dinner tonight.

Ray had said that his friend Fenris would be at the dinner and that she would meet her a little bit before it started. He had said that once she walked into the house that her and Fenris wouldn't really have a chance to talk, but he hadn't said why that would be.

Annabelle had stayed awake the night before thinking about meeting Fenris. For some reason she really wanted to meet her. Although she was a little scared, she desperately wanted to see her eyes. She had no idea why but she felt like they would hold a key to something. She knows how crazy that sounds but she can't help it.

It was now just before 5PM and Ray had said dinner would be at 6PM. So Annabelle didn't have much time to get ready.

Stripping out of her school clothes she walked to her closet in her bra and underwear. Ray had said it would be a relaxed dinner and that he himself was just going to wear jeans and a button down shirt. But Annabelle wanted to impress her soon to be in-law's, and maybe Ray's friend Fenris.

She pulled a few clothing items out and threw them on the bed. She picked up the first set and turned to her full length mirror. She was wearing a short grey skirt with a pink flowy top that hung off one shoulder, and although she liked it she didn't want to be in a skirt all night.

She stripped out of that outfit and decided on pants. Jean shorts and a simple light grey t-shirt, it was nice and simple but didn't really make a 'wow' impression. She took off the shorts and put on some jeans. Looking around she saw her green plaid button up that matched her eyes. She quickly grabbed it and put it on. Perfect.

She brushed her long hair before putting it over her shoulder and then looked in the mirror one last time. Thinking she looked good she walked out her bedroom door to find Mary.

Walking to the living room she heard whispering. When she got there she saw not only Mary but also Ray. The pair was cuddled up on the couch being cute just whispering and giving small kisses. The scene had Annabelle smiling. She loved that Mary had found her mate who not only can protect her but is a huge sweetheart. Ray loves showing Mary that he loves and pays attention to her. He also even genuinely wants to be friends with Annabelle which she loves even more. He's sort of like her big brother.

Clearing her throat to get their attention, "Hey guys. Sorry to interrupt. I just wanted to know when we were going to head over?"

They both looked up at her, Ray with a big smile on his face while Mary seemed annoyed. "Hey Annabelle!" Ray said happily. "Fenny said she'll be there in thirty minutes maybe. But she said she'd text me when she gets there, and it should take less than ten minutes for us to get there."

"Oh, okay. Um, who's Fenny?" she asked, confused.

"Oh Fenny is just the nickname I gave Fenris when we were kids. She hates it though." he said, laughing. "She says I'm the only one who can call her Fenny and live. I heard her parents tried to call her that and she threw a fireball through their kitchen window." he continued laughing.

Ray was laughing his head off at that, but both Annabelle and Mary seemed scared at the thought the person they are about to have dinner with can conjure fire. "A fireball?!" Annabelle exclaimed, "She can make fireballs?!"

"Yep and if you think that's impressive just wait till Monday. You'll both be astonished and terrified at the same time." he said, almost boastingly. Whatever was going to happen Monday he clearly thought would impress them.

Curious by the statement she asked, "Any chance you'll tell me?"

"Nope. And don't worry Fenny is actually a sweetheart. I guarantee she's going to be shy or nervous today" he said, shaking his head smiling.

"I think you may be right about that. Did you see her at lunch?" Mary asked Ray. "Fenris was so focused on her phone she ignored us. I got so curious at what she was looking at I peaked over and she was researching table manners. How cute is that!" Mary exclaimed with an aww look.

Annabelle had to admit that the thought that Fenris was so nervous was adorable. This 18 year old girl who seemed to be super intimidating and scary, was looking up how to make a good first impression and behave properly.

"Okay okay, we get it my friend is super adorable, now sit down Annabelle. We can watch something before we head over to meet Fenny."

Annabelle walked over to the recliner next to the couch grabbing the remote on the way. She sat down and turned the TV on, flipping through the channels trying to find something.

She decided on her favorite kid's show, The Amazing World of Gumball. Yes the show can be stupid, immature, and almost never had logic. But it was funny and had some jokes for older people. Plus the episodes were short and she wouldn't have to get up in the middle of a show she really wanted to watch.

Sitting back she ignored the happy couple next to her and just watched the show, waiting for Fenris to text Ray so Annabelle can finally meet her.
