Question:What do I do with Michael and Adam

So I'm planning out season six, and I'm realizing that I don't know what to do with Michael and Adam in the cage.

I'm not allowing season seven and nine to exist, and I was planning on breaking the both of them free at the end of the Civil War or when the darkness breaks out. Thoughts?
