Chapter 25: Questions and revelations

After the two debriefings, I was able to go and get some sleep.

Some time later ~~

I met with the brothers after getting some sleep to discuss our next steps.

Upon meeting them, I could see that they had a question in their minds. I just let them come over, and as soon as they sat, Sam said, " Hey John, don't get us wrong, but we normally aren't someone who'd not attack any entity, which shows us any kind of power, but for some reason, we didn't exactly get how you could get into the shed of our father when we first met and why we didn't directly attack you."

Sighing I replied, "You don't need to be sorry, Sam. It is somewhat of a long story, but let me still explain..."

Flashback

I, or rather, my unawakened self, earlier had a family who were killed in a car accident, as supposed by the authorities; it was rather an attack by some unknown entity.

I was the only one alive, and as I had witnessed their deaths while hiding in the same car, I felt a sense of helplessness, which I determined never to feel again. My family was rich, very rich instead, which I then used to grow the money even more and find teachers for martial arts, as well as research into whatever this side of the world had. I had met Bobby on one of these research expeditions itself, but that's a story of another time.

In time, I made friends with five others whose fates were similar to mine. We gradually grew closer to each other. Eventually I got a bit curious about the rest of the world, so I asked my team to stay put in the main mansion of my family and went out to search for the supernatural in different countries.

Over time, I was able to learn many new things about many entities and also meet some organisations that worked to manage or curb them. This led to meetings with a few of such organisations, such as the Men of Letters, etc.

Eventually I reached over to the final part of my journey, the Indian subcontinent, where I was able to find a few new ways to deal with entities and newer entities. I even found that the layer of influence by Chuck was the thinnest here.

Upon searching for it, I found a loose organisation of sorts called Saptrishi here that was responsible for handling the supernatural occurrences.

This all eventually led me to try to find out more about these guys, which eventually led me to try to get in touch with them.

As soon as I got in contact with them, I was then taken to an office of sorts of theirs, where we had discussed a bit of their workings, etc., after which suddenly I felt a bit sleepy. The people there just told me, "We will now send you to your way fated one and assist you in making a proper connection with the people. Also, consider our support for the organisation you are building and connect with us as soon as 2 years of that are done. Goodbye and safe travels."

And everything became white. When I opened my eyes, I found myself in the cabin.

Flashback ends.

So that is how kids... Sorry, wrong universe. So that is how I ended up in your dad's cabin, and that is why you didn't attack me.

Sam and Dean were dumbfounded but quickly got their bearings.

Dean: "Dude, that wasn't what I was expecting from the story."

Sam said, "Yeah, that was something else." *sigh*

Dean, "But whatever you are, you are still our friend, who has helped us immensely. Don't think we'll forget that just because of that."

Sam, "Yeah, and all the good that you have done... Even if you are a demon, I'd still support you."

I was relieved to hear that, as I have begun considering them as my friends, due to which I wouldn't want to end the relationship, especially on a bad note.
