Chapter 22: Asylum aftermath

AN: a very big thank you for the powerstones "loago_kenosi" and "BLITZ2", I really appericiate it.

General POV

After the ghost was dealt with, John then proceeded to go where Dean and Sam were waiting and help them in clearing the remaining sections. They then moved on to go outside themselves, and then John started the machine that would reconstruct the asylum building to suit its new purpose.

Quickly, they could see a mass of sorts being removed from the machine and then flowing towards the asylum. It then started "eating" up the building of the asylum with a speed visible to the naked eye; eventually, all that remained of the asylum was a huge hole in the ground where you'd generally find the basement and the foundations of the building.

They then quickly used their programming to clear up the rest of the area of weeds and dried leaves, etc., and then started building a skeletal structure for the primary building from the group up. Soon, beans of metal started forming at impossible angles if not put up by a precision tool to ensure that they didn't collapse. This eventually gave way to the skeletal structure of the HQ to be made, and then it started getting covered in a semi transparent cover, which allowed for one sided transparency as well as gave the option to make it opaque as well. Then the creation of each floor and room started.

John H. POV

In the end, what remained in front of us was a huge tower like building, which seems to defy the known laws of physics and yet is able to stand and be as stable as any other building. We then went on to continue cleaning up the rest of the things.

We even changed the style and text of the signboard to ensure that people knew that this place wasn't an abandoned asylum anymore.

Now came the main part. We went in and switched on the teleporter, which directly opened a gateway for the team assigned to this tower. They came in orderly and started setting up stations.

And in just 12 hours, our new local headquarters was up and running, ready for any action. I also added a slew of magic and mundane protections for the HQ such that its grounds wouldn't allow any hostile intent here. This was done to ensure that in case someone is esacping and successfully crosses over to our side, their pursuers, if hostile in nature, won't be able to follow them or at least hurt them in any way.

Now, as I thought it was all for the day's work and was planning to go to my car for rest, I was again proven wrong—very wrong when the teleporter connected with five other locations and out came the group.

And I got a notification that the meeting would take place in 30 minutes. sigh

Meanwhile, the Winchesters here were just looking around at what was happening and dealing with their bounds being increased yet again.

I then addressed them, "Guys, you can take one of the guest rooms in the HQ as of now and go for a well deserved rest, but before that, I'd like you two to meet the core group of our organisation."

AN:

The building is set up, and preparations are made. Now it's time for some meetings and conferences.

What ? You guys thought we could escape from the horror of paperwork here ? Don't joke; not even Chuck has the honours for that.
