1 1.The Journey Begins
"Eve....Eve.....EVANGELINE WAKE UP!" The fox girl shouted causing her sister to fall from her bed
"I'm up I'm up! Geez Akata you scared the life out of me why were you even yelling in the first place" evangeline picked herself off the ground
"Eve how could you forget! Today we get to explore the world! We can leave the forest and have an adventure!" The hyper akata was practically bouncing off the walls
"Can't going outside wait two hours and I like the forest it's peaceful so I can sleep" the clearly tired evangeline was about to go back to bed before she was yanked by her sister
"C'mon sleepyhead we were waiting for this since forever and breakfast is ready " Akata dragged her sister out of their shared room
"Fine wait who cooked it?" Evangeline asked her sister hoping for the best outcome
"Mom did now hurry before dad eats it all" hearing that Evangeline was fully awake
"Mom cooked? Race ya first one there gets to use the bathroom first!" She shouted getting a head start of her sister
"You know I will beat you Eve" Akata started running behind her sister eventually catching up to her then she realised Evangeline disappeared. When she got to the dining room she saw her sister sitting next to their dad
"Hey no fair! You teleported here you cheated" Akata pouted
"Nu uh you have no proof even if I did you increased your speed" Akata took a seat
"Dad saw you there is no way you ran all the way here" Evangeline smirked before she spoke
"Guess I get use the bathroom first" Their Father who was a fox shifter like Akata spoke
"I have never seen you two this happy for breakfast when I cook" he spoke looking between the two of them
"Dad that is because you and Sora can't cook to save your life" Akata said his face changing into one of surprise
"Akata is right Dad if you were left alone in the kitchen you would probably burn the whole house down" Evangeline added hardening the blow to their dad's feelings
"Eve ... Akata how could you" he said like he was feeling their words
"Azrael dear you know they are right" an elf walked out of the kitchen with the last of the food
"Eliana not you too" Azrael said not believing his with agreed with their daughters
"Honey its fine let us enjoy the last breakfast with them before they leave" Eliana said as they all started to eat enjoy a few of the last minutes they would share as a family for awhile not knowing when they will see each other again
"Okay girls you need to go and get ready if you still want to leave and make it to the village by evening" Azrael informed them and both Akata and Evangeline an upstairs to get ready. After an hour they both came back downstairs fully ready and waited for their parents
"Now you both know I won't be accompanying you this time around and you will have to do this on your own" Azrael informed them
"And it is a very dangerous and won't be easy and the only reason I am even allowing this is so you can visit Sora in Wisteria for a while" Eliana nudged her husband
"What your father also meant is so you two can make friends you two are both old enough to go out on your own" Eliana was correct Akata was 19 and Evangeline was 18 they were more than capable of taking care of themselves and each other
"That as well remember Wisteria is very far from here and the people their are old fashion" Azrael warned them as both girls looked at each other
"Dad what do you mean by that I thought Wisteria accepted everyone?" Evangeline asked her father looking for answers
"Your father is right with Wisteria being filled with only elves and those elves frown and dislike shifters of all kinds , humans , mages and every race known in this world" Eliana explained to her daughters
"Mom I thought you were born in Wisteria ?" Akata asked her mother
"I was but when I was your age Akata I left to be with your father because Wisterians don't like it when elves mix with any other race except their own" Azrael looked at his wife when she said this
"Your mother is right at that time your grandfather was the king of Wisteria's advisor at the time and he might not accept either of you so it is advised to avoid him at all cost" He warned them
"I'm confused I thought he would want to know about us dad we never once seen him" Akata mentioned wanting to know more
"Dad I agree with Akata we never once seen him and what does that mean for Sora?" Evangeline asked them as well
"When me and your father met your grandfather hated him the most and tried so many times to hurt him but I left with him and didn't tell him where I went but with Sora he is an elf and even though he still is also a shifter he just can't shift so it is easier for him to live there as long as he never mentions who his father is" Eliana explained to them
"That is why I can't go with you two but you two need to get going now or you won't make it to the village before night" Azrael told them cutting some explanations short
"Your father is right but before you go you two will need these" Eliana left the room only to return with two small bags
"Sora left these the last time he visited, he said to keep a surprise until you were ready to travel" Eliana gave both of them a bag
"Really! No way" Akata squealed instantly putting on the bag
"I really like it " Evangeline said putting it on as well
"Now you two take care of each other okay and stay safe okay" Eliana told them hugging them both
"Look out for each other and remember once you leave through the opening your mother's spell can't protect you always keep your eyes and ears open " Azrael informed for the last time
"Always dad we got got this" Akata confidently told her dad
"Good now take care " he told his daughters giving them a smile as they left officially on their own.

"Eve this is it , that is the opening!" Akata told her sister as they approached it
"This is amazing I have never been this far away from home Akata" Evangeline told her because she was mostly with their mother whenever Akata and Azrael went out she often stayed behind
"Don't worry Eve we have eachother we can do this" Akata reassured her sister
"You're right Akata" she took a deep breath before she walks through the opening with Akata walking closely behind her
"Where to now Akata how far is the village from here?" Evangeline asked Akata
"Well from here we should start heading out of the forest and then alittle way ahead we should see the village ahead but we must hurry some creatures in this forest might defeatly kill us or even hurt us" Akata warned as they started heading straight ahead as the forest only got denser. Very mysterious creatures were not only seen but heard.
"Did you hear that?" Akata asked Evangeline as they stopped for a second
"Heard what? Akata " she asked while Akata thought of a way to describe it
"I don't know it's like a roar or a growl" her eyes widen then she grabbed her sister's hand and started running
"We need to go!" The sound got closer where Evangeline started to hear it
"If I only knew where the village was I could have teleported us there!" Evangeline said running along side her sister
"You have never been there before so I can't be upset about that but we really need to run!" Akata started to run faster as they finally got to clearing that had small pond
"What was that" Evangeline asked sitting by the pond
"I don't know and I wouldn't like to find out either but are you okay Eve?" Akata checked on her sister
"Yea I'm fine we could continue so we reach there before night cause I would not want to see what else is in this forest especially at night" She got up and brushed herself off
"Okay then we should continue before whatever that is catches up" they started their journey again they continued to walk through the forest
"What the hell is that!" Evangeline yelled but whatever it was see saw didn't seem to hear her
"How did it get here so quickly?" Akata asked confused how the creature caught up to them so quickly
"I never seen a creature like that before but let's go before what ever it is sees us"

As they exited the forest there was a small path
"Akata which way do we go now" the girl asked her sister
"We go left and follow the path we should start to see the village" Akata mentioned as they started heading that direction and soon enough they saw the village in the distance
"I see the village Akata" Evangeline told her sister and just in time as the sun was about to set
"Yeah I see it to let's hurry before the sun goes down" and as normal the very hyper Akata grabbed her sister's hand and ran to the village.
The village was small but very lively, when the two sisters entered the the smell of bread and all sorts of food hit them in the face
"I don't know about you Eve but I am starving " Akata walked in the direction the scent was coming from
"Akata! Wait on me will you" Evangeline walked behind her sister. And after they ate at a close by tavern they soon found an Inn
"Excuse me Sir how much for two rooms for the night ?" Evangeline asked the Inn owner
"That's 5 coins" the Inn owner said "We will take them thank you sir" Evangeline paid for the rooms with some of the money given to them by Sora.
The Inn owner gave them the key as the two sisters found their rooms and called it a night
