27 Chapter 27 - The Response

---Cupid Base Madrid, Spain---

"...let those that do evil beware, for I AM HERE!", I said on the broadcast.

Watching the news broadcast, Cupid became pissed off. He saw my statement as a challenge, and it put a smile on his face. Many people had called him out, all of them were six feet under or now his pets.

"So this hot shot Hero thinks this is enough to scare me?", Cupid laughed, "Let's see how fucking strong you feel when I make your girlfriends my pet! Lucile, do you have my plane chartered for next week?"

"Of course Master, the most luxurious plane has been prepared.", she said.

"Make sure we have diamond collars ready for my new pets.", he laughed with a twisted smile, "Go ahead and send in the advance team. I don't want that piss ant All For One interrupting my little play time! Have our men in Japan ready to back them up too."

"As you command Master!", she said bowing her head.

"Send Widow in with them.", he said, "See if you can't take a few of the Pros out too. They have been a bit too cocky lately, and are causing our organization some headaches."

"Yes Master.", she stated.

Doing as he bid, she dispatched a team of seven women lead by her master's second favorite pet Widow. Widow was a villainess that once tried to kill him by using her body's natural poison to cause him a painful death. Unfortunately her spy spilled the secret, and she found herself on the receiving end of his wrath. Now she was nothing more than a puppet that sought to only make him happy so she would get laid, and receive his affection.

"So Master needs us to take out All For One?", Widow asked.

"He didn't specifically state that, but he didn't say to spare him either.", Lucile stated, "I assume the major thing is that All For One and his group don't interfere with Master's plan."

"Understood, and did Master state which Heroes to kill?", Widow asked.

"I assume taking out the top five will suffice to keep the public in line.", Lucile stated.

"Understood.", Widow replied, "We will head out immediately."

Taking her team to the airport, they used forged passports to make their way to Japan. Coming with Widow were a mixture of Heroines and Villainesses. Directly under her was a woman known as the Master Counterfeiter in the villain underworld. Her quirk allowed her to make exact copies of art work she saw with the finest of detail. She had been making a fortune selling forged paintings when Cupid attacked her. He used her talents to make him a wealthy man, and abused her terribly whenever her work didn't sell. After her was the Mimic, a woman with a quirk that allowed her to shift her body into the appearance of any person she saw. The flaw with her though was she could only hold it for a maximum of ten minutes.

The Heroines in the group were Velocity, a woman that could increase the speed of things or people she touched. She had tried to catch Cupid using her superior speed, but ran into the next Heroine in the group before she could disable him...Berta. Berta's Quirk allowed her hardened her entire body like a shield, organs and all, and she was formerly Cupid's bodyguard. While on a job he had ambushed her while rescuing children from a burning building, he prevented her from completing her job leading the death of nearly twenty children and a few adults. He didn't care though because he found children to be annoying, and regularly sought to terrorize any that got on his nerve.

The next two Heroines were Mia and Ria, the sister team that used their Quirks to help in natural disasters. Mia was a Tactile Telekinetic who flew at supersonic speeds and could lift several tons with ease. Ria was what most considered to be a Booster Quirk user. Ria's Quirk allowed her to unlock a Quirks full potential for thirty minutes. Unfortunately it left her nearly incapacitated after using it, and it was part of the reason they were caught. The sisters worked alongside their brother who was able to transform himself into an armored lizard man with enormous strength and defensive properties that exceed Mia's.

Cupid used their brother's girlfriend to kill him while he was guarding Ria. That night he had been too injured to fight thus was responsible for Ria's protection. Cupid had planned the whole thing out, and made sure to torment him by using his loved ones while he died on the ground in front of them. Even though they were under Cupid's control they held a hatred for Cupid that only grew every time he touched them or laughed about the death of their brother. They felt horrified that they let Cupid catch them, and even raped them in front of their brother. He made them disown him while he lay dying in front of them. All they wanted was a chance to kill him, even if it cost them their lives.

"Alright girls, let me go over the information we have.", Widow said as their jet took off, "We have a long flight to Japan."

---Fortress of Solitude---

Monitoring for any activities for people related to the Oblivion Group, Kelex immediately found them the moment they stepped out of their hideout. Being a Quantum Supercomputer, something like monitoring cameras all over the globe was a walk in the park for Kelex.

"Master Clark, I have confirmation that seven individuals connected to Cupid are on the move towards Japan. They are scheduled to arrive late tomorrow morning at Haneda Airport.", Kelex stated contacting me, "Should I reroute the flight?"

"No, get me the flight details.", I stated, "I will coordinate with the Tokyo Police to secure them on arrival."

"Understood, I also believe that I located their base of operations in Madrid, Spain. It looks like Cupid is working out of the port in a private warehouse.", Kelex stated.

"Perfect, I send me the information as well.", I replied, "I will smoke the rat out, and crush him under my heel."

---U.A High School---

Walking into Nezu's office I found All Might speaking with him about some upcoming events. Looking to me Nezu if there was something I needed.

"Principal Nezu, do you have contacts you can trust in the Tokyo Police Department?", I asked.

"I do...is something-"

"The Oblivion Group has seven operatives that are scheduled to land tomorrow morning on a chartered jet.", I stated.

His expression immediately hardened.

"You are absolutely certain of that?", he asked, "That is a very big claim."

"I am 100% serious Principal Nezu, seven women under Cupid's control are scheduled to arrive at Haneda Airport tomorrow morning.", I said playing them audio from onboard the plane.

Kelex was currently streaming audio off of their personal devices to my phone. Listening to Widow go over the information they had, what they intended to do, and how they would do it both All Might and Nezu became tense.

"If they start a turf war with All For One the city is going to be a warzone.", All Might stated.

"Agreed, Clark I apologize for questioning you.", Nezu stated, "It's just the Oblivion Group is so secretive that getting reliable information on their movements is usually impossible to get. May I ask how you are getting this information?"

"My AI assistant Kelex found them exiting their base in Madrid, and followed them via security cameras to the airport.", I stated, "From there Kelex got the information on their flight, and route to Japan."

"Your AI is capable of that?", All Might asked in shock.

"Yes, we need to stop them at the airport.", I stated, "I am going to coordinate to with Section 13 to strike their base at the same time. I already have the antidote to counter Cupid's mind control so that will remove four of them as they are Heroes. The three you will need to engage are Widow, Master Counterfeiter, and Mimic which will likely bolt the moment they regain their senses. If you lose Mimic in the airport you won't find her again."

"Widow is really the only issue.", All Might stated, "I heard of her before, she is a poison expert."

"Don't underestimate the other two, they have avoided capture before because they are strapped.", I replied.

"Fair enough.", he said.

"I will contact my friends in the Tokyo Police Department, we will be ready to handle this.", Nezu stated.

Flying to see Charles, I wanted them to assist with the capture of Cupid's enslaved people.

---Section 13 Western US Base---

"So you are telling me you found that son of a bitch?", Charles said looking at the footage, "He's been hiding under our damn noses this whole time! Fucking damn it!"

"I won't ask how you got this information.", the European Branch Head stated, "All I will say is that we will catch this bastard. He has been avoiding our capture, and has harassed our agents for years. Some of our best people were killed or turned at his hands."

"I have my own hat in this ring.", I stated, "He intended to come to capture one of my girlfriends, and assault her."

The air in the room became tense as the people around me felt my killing intent pour off my shoulders.

"That bastard dies by hands. I will get you your information, but he dies by my hands.", I stated.

"Fine by me.", the European Branch Head said, "All we want is base locations they have around-"

"I already have several for you.", I stated.

"Haha that's our Golden Boy!", Ivan laughed.

Sending them the locations, I heard Ivan growl through his microphone.

"One of these locations is only ten miles from my location.", Ivan stated, "I guarantee they had a hand in that prison break. Not only that, one of the Japanese bases is literally two blocks from our former base there! How the hell did they get so fucking close to us!?"

"I should have more base locations for you tomorrow.", I stated, "I managed to break into their servers, and steal a lot of information on where they run their money making operations out of."

"Kid, you get us that information and I will make it so you are painted as a Saint when you kill Cupid.", the European Branch Head stated.

"I don't care about that, that cocky bastard dared to think he could touch my girlfriend. I will show him that death is a godsend when I am done.", I growled, "His methods disgust me, and I look forward to snatching every single shred of information he has. I will show him why Vlad doesn't try to break out of here..."

"While you are doing that I am going to pay that base a-", Ivan started to say.

"You tell me when you want to hit the base, and I will teleport you straight into their base.", I stated, "Consider it a professional courtesy for letting me kill him."

"You can do that!?", Ivan and Charles gasped.

"I can teleport you, and other teams anywhere on the globe.", I stated, "All you have to do is ask, for this operation that is."

"Haha...HAHA!!", Ivan laughed, "Golden Boy I am going to owe you a fucking beer for this!! We are going to massacre these fuckers, and they won't know what hit them!! Finally I get to give them some payback for getting the drop on us!!"

"Agreed, I am looking forward to it.", Charles said unable to hold back his grin, "Jetson...Smith...I want all our agents ready to mobilize in three hour! We have five targets, and we are going to hit them hard! I don't want a single fucker making it out of there unless we are dragging them out!"

"Is it possible to hit all the locations you provided?", the North American Branch Head asked.

"If you have the manpower I can make it happen within in seconds.", I stated.

"You have my word you will be compensated for this.", she said replied.

"Also...I come bearing another gift.", I stated showing them a canister for the antidote to Cupid's pheromone, "This aerosol is able to neutralize Cupid's pheromone with little side effects. At worst they will have a headache for a few hours."

"We happily accept it!", the European Branch Head said, "Please drop it off at our Italian branch, and we will put it to good use!"

Telling them to let me know when they were ready, all I asked for the location their people were at, and where they wanted to go. Dropping my antidote off at the Italian branch base, I made sure that the antidote worked as expected. The results became apparent within ten minutes of using the aerosol which made the base personnel very happy. Passing along that information to their superiors, they gave me their thanks for solving this problem.

---U.A High School---

Waiting outside for my girlfriends to arrive after school I started planning out how I would do this. I wanted the Oblivion Group and all other similar groups to understand that targeting my lovers was a death sentence.

'Cupid...your death won't be easy.', I thought clenching my fist, 'I will hit you like a Category 5 Hurricane, and make beg for the sweet embrace of death!'

Sitting outside the school for a bit, Kelex forwarded more information about the rest of the women under Cupid's control. A few of them had Quirks that allowed them to move from place to place immediately like Warp Gate. Unlike Warp Gate though, they required physical contact of some sort. Most of those women were Sidekicks who had been forced to execute the Heroes they worked under which made this all the more disgusting.

'So...there is a good chance he will flee when I show up.', I thought, 'I will have the Eradicator stay here at U.A to greet him if he shows up.'

Watching the girls come out, I put my phone away for the time being to take them back home. Finding Rumi, Nemuri, and Yu's stuff on my bed I looked at my poor closet realizing I needed more space. Thinking about it closely...it was probably time to show the women the Fortress of Solitude. Waiting for the three of them to return, I told them I wanted to show them something important.

"Even more ridiculous than what you showed off today?", Melissa asked.

"Much more.", I stated, "Kelex, teleport us to the Fortress."

Acknowledging the request all of us, including Eri, were transported to the Fortress of Solitude.

---Fortress of Solitude, Bottom of Jupiter Liquid Hydrogen Ocean---

It took a few moments for their eyes to adjust, but when they did their jaws dropped. Floating overhead was the Titanic, completely rebuilt to exact specifications as if it just came out of dry dock. Next to it was a rebuilt Space Shuttle Orbiter, and Apollo capsule. Looking around the room they saw other technological marvels from across humanity's history from the first locomotive to a replica Wright brothers plane.

"Clark...", Melissa gasped, "Where...where are we?!"

"Welcome to the Fortress of Solitude, this is my private home away from home.", I chuckled, "This is a place for me to get away, and enjoy time together with those important with me."

"Where did you get all this stuff!?", Nejire asked.

"These are the originals, the ones on Earth are replicas...well at least the ones that still exist anyways.", I laughed, "These are all things that I want to preserve, so humanity never forgets where we came from."

"Where specifically are we though?", Yu asked.

"Jupiter.", I replied.

"Where is that specifically?", Nemuri asked, "Which country is that in?"

"We aren't on Earth, we are actually on the planet Jupiter.", I said with a smile, "Currently we several thousand miles below the surface of the liquid hydrogen ocean here. I installed Gravitation Adjusters in the Fortress so the gravity is exactly the same as Earth. This is only the museum I have in fortress, follow me so I can show you our home."

"You...you mean this place is going to be our home?", Rumi asked.

"Think of it as our private retreat when we want to get away from it all.", I replied.

Walking past the car collection, we entered the zoo of revived extinct animals. Eri was especially drawn in by all the animals that were running around their enormous enclosure. Pointing them all out to us as she saw them, Mina pulled on my sleeve.

"Those...those things are freaking dinosaurs!!", Mina shrieked, "You mean you brought back freaking dinosaurs!?"

"Yes, this section is the herbivores.", I said motioning to my left, "The carnivores are in the enclosure on the right."

"It's a T-rex!!", Toru and Toga shouted with excitement.

"How!? You shouldn't be able to do this!", Melissa gasped.

"Melissa, these animals were grown from embryos.", I replied, "It took months to gather the DNA samples, and then several more to grow them from eggs. All of the animals here are still adolescents, and are rather gentle creatures."

'That's probably because they tried taking a bite out of you, and realized you are the apex predator!', the women thought looking at the sabretooth cat eyeing them.

"Still though I recommend if you want to experience the animals stay on the herbivore side.", I laughed knowing what they were thinking.

"What are those little birds?", Ochaco asked.

"Dodos.", I stated, "They went extinct sometime in 1600's."

"Oh...", she replied.

"Those giant wooly elephants are Mammoths, right?", Itsuka asked.

"That's right.", I said with a smile, "These animals live here without any fear of being hunted down, and I hope one day to reintroduce some of them back to Earth."

"So we basically have our own safari here, neat!", Momo giggled.

Moving on from there I showed them my lab where I introduced them to Kelex, Eradicator, and several other robots I had built. In addition to Eradicator, I had Red Tornado, Amazo, and Vision under Kelex's authority. The machines were similar to their counterparts, and were my trump cards in the event I needed assistance for some reason. With Amazo though I made sure to program him to stay on the right side of the law.

"So how strong are they?", Rumi asked.

"I recommend not trying it Rumi.", I stated, "They are far more dangerous than any villain you are likely to meet."

"I have to try now!", Rumi laughed throwing a kick at Eradicator.

Vibrating his molecules her leg went right through him like he wasn't even there. Trying it with Vision, making himself intangible as well she became quite frustrated.

"Why can't I hit them!?", she snapped.

"They can make themselves intangible. ", I replied, "Red Tornado can't, but I would like to warn you he is stronger-"

Throwing a kick at him, she watched him effortlessly push her away after getting close to her. Moving faster than she could follow she was startled by how easily he did it. Catching her as she fell back into me she looked at me with a slight bit of fear.

"How strong are they?", she asked.

"All Might would lose hands down.", I stated, "Especially against Eradicator, he has all my powers just to a lesser degree."

"Are you sure you aren't trying to replace Heroes?", she asked.

"Haha, I am not looking to replace any Heroes.", I said kissing her, "They really are only to assist me when needed."

"What's powering them?", Melissa asked.

"Small suns...before you ask I don't have a machine to do that. I have to do it by hand.", I chuckled.

"I...I am just going to stop trying understand how you make stuff.", she laughed, "It makes my head hurt."

"It's alright.", I said giving her a hug, "Now then, in addition to being where my Quantum Computer is housed this is is also my laboratory where I am already processing data to fulfill my promise to you."

Smiling the women nodded their heads looking at all the equipment they didn't understand. Guiding them to the next room, I showed them our bedroom here. Built out of precious metals, gemstones, and the softest materials I could make Ochaco fainted seeing how extravagant the room was. Spotting the bed first Nemuri, Yu, Rumi, and Nejire all looked at me like I committed a taboo.

"That's quite a big bed...", they asked, "You aren't considering adding more right now, are you?"

"First off, I am not looking to add anyone else. Any women I would encounter in my private life would be the ones you all bring. I have twelve girlfriends currently, I really don't think I need to be adding more.", I stated, "I made it big for...other reasons."

"Meaning?", they asked.

Making the hand motions for what I meant when Eri wasn't looking they smirked, and nodded their heads. The bed was made large so we could make love without any problems. Since the women enjoyed many positions it made sense to have a larger bed to do that on. Showing them the massive walk in closet and the enormous bathroom the women really took a liking to the getaway. Suggesting they keep their less worn clothing here for the time being the women agreed which freed up a lot of space for the rest of their belongings. Getting them situated all of them seemed rather content living together...though Nemuri and Rumi were likely to still argue a bit.

"So...what do we do now?", Rumi asked.

"We can go down, and burn some energy off in the gym.", I stated.

"Perfect!", Mina replied running off with the others to change.

"Rumi, Nemuri, and Yu...can I have a moment of your time?", I asked telepathically.

Turning back to me they had a look of confusion on their faces. Telling them what was going down tomorrow, they understood why I wasn't telling the others.

"You aren't going to kill him, are you?", Yu asked me in response.

"What do you think?", I replied, "He is a piece of human garbage that finds pleasure in torturing women, and using them to kill their loved ones. You think I will let him get close to any of you? Do you think I will let him live after targeting one of you to hurt me? No, he will die by my hands so no one has to suffer his cruelty again."

"Clark...you realize if you kill him there will be terrible consequences, right?", Nemuri asked, "The public frowns on-"

"If someone had killed All For One sooner how many lives do you think would have been saved?", I asked, "If a Hero had stepped in to kill Stalin how many lives could have been saved? With Mind Breaker and Vlad Chomsky I felt comfortable turning them over because I neutralize the threat...Cupid is different. He isn't a killer, he is a psychopathic killer that takes pleasure in the suffering of others. His goal in life is crush the happiness of others for his own amusement. How many lives has that bastard ruined!? Heroes try to take him alive, and he slaughters them using their loved ones as shields!"

"Clark, you need to be ready for the backlash.", they stated, "The public isn't going to be thrilled you killed him."

"I wouldn't be so sure of that...", I replied, "He is well known enough that I think people won't mourn his passing. Cupid has the balls to target my loved ones, I am going to make an example of him."

Wanting to argue that, they knew there was no debating it. They knew Cupid's record, and honestly knew the public would likely applaud his death. Cupid had a sick way of destroying Heroines by recording himself breaking them, and spreading it over the internet. The few that managed to escape on their own quit being Heroes, and ended up committing suicide because of the shame the public made them feel. There wasn't a place they could go to get away from the prying eyes of people that had seen their shameful expressions while under his influence.

"We...we just don't want you to think that killing is an acceptable thing.", Yu said.

"I know it isn't.", I said giving her a hug, "It's just that man...that man doesn't deserve to live another day. If he had his way he make you all do shameful things that I know you don't want to do. The fact he thinks I would allow him to shame and embarrass you...it makes my blood boil. Just the thought of him making any of you suffer makes me want to rip him apart limb by limb."

Giving me soft smiles the three hugged me tightly while the others looked at us in confusion.

"I won't let him hurt any of you.", I promised.

"Don't forget we aren't fragile women.", Rumi chuckled, "We can defend ourselves quite well too."

"I know, all of you are very strong women.", I replied, "You are welcome to beat the crap out of the other people he may send, but you leave him to me."

"Fine, there better be plenty of action.", Rumi stated, "If I am going to stick around U.A, I better get to fight. In the event I don't you are going to owe me!"

"Can do.", I replied with a smile.

Having Kelex forward all the information we had regarding Cupid, and the potential attack on U.A we went down to workout blow off some steam.

---U.A Principal's Office---

An hour after my email went out, Nezu had called the teachers and local former alumni to the school to speak with them. Only a few could make it as most were on duty currently.

"Clark has a complete list of those working for Cupid.", Nezu stated reading the email.

"Still don't see why he is worried.", Eraser Head said.

"Cupid has a few Quirk users that could potential teleport him here.", Nezu said, "Two women he will likely have with him...they are U.A graduates that moved abroad."

"Seriously!", the teachers said narrowing their eyes.

"Mach and Thundera.", Nezu said, "I am sure you remember them."

"Yeah, they were a few years behind me.", All Might stated, "Mach is a speedster like Young Tenya...just much faster, and Thundera can make lightning bolts drop from the sky. They were both top of their classes, why did they move?"

"Probably chasing men or something.", Endeavor laughed, "Morons, so why exactly did you call me in?"

"I suppose you need us to stay nearby?", Best Jeanist asked.

"Clark seems to think All For One will make a move during the chaos.", Nezu stated, "He is an opportunist so I agree with that assessment. If Cupid does breach our defenses it would be the best time to attack U.A."

"Is that what he said in his message?", All Might asked.

"Yes, I trust Clark with this one.", Nezu stated, "Tomorrow morning we are going to do a special event with former alumni of U.A. The police are already planning evacuation plans for the public, and are prepared for a drawn out fight."

"You think this will be that serious?", Endeavor laughed.

"Clark said we should be ready for a small war to break out.", Nezu replied, "He said All For One is the one responsible for Hero and Villain corpses disappearing."

Hearing that Eraser Head's eyes narrowed.

"Did he say if-"

"Shota...I am sorry, but-", Nezu started to say.

"I see...then this is personal.", he said acting serious, "He...he was my friend, even if he was over excitable."

"So when do we get to kick his ass...", Present Mic asked clenching his fists, "How dare All For One , Oboro was my friend!!"

"I understand your sentiment, I truly do.", Nezu stated, "Clark wrote that we will likely encounter creatures that aren't human by any means. They are reanimated corpses that have been modified extensively, and been given multiple Quirks. The one named Kurogiri...he is Oboro Shirakumo."

Both men became infuriated learning the news.

"The initial team arrives tomorrow morning at Haneda Airport. At that time Clark will be striking Cupid's base with Section 13.", Nezu said, "He is 100% sure Cupid will flee here when he sees him. Not only that, people from the Oblivion Group bases here in Japan will also be joining the fighting apparently."

"Why is he coming here though?", Endeavor asked.

"He is targeting Clark's girlfriends since he can't fight Clark directly.", Nezu stated.

"Girlfriends, like you mean more than one?", Endeavor asked, "He seriously can't stick to a single-"

"All of them are aware of each other, and accept it.", Nezu sighed, "Moving on, Cupid is targeting them and he is warning us in advance."

"Can't he handle it?", Endeavor laughed.

"What I am about to tell you is top secret.", Nezu said looking at the people present, "When Clark took on Vlad Chomsky, he destroyed a mountain in the process. The footage I have seen...it wasn't even a fight, it was a massacre. Clark isn't someone you want to see mad...if Clark becomes enraged we aren't going to be able to stop him."

"Sounds like you are overreacting.", Endeavor stated.

Turning his monitor around, Nezu played the footage the Japanese UN ambassador sent him. Watching the video the men all turned pale watching how destructive I could be when I was angry. When the video was over the smug look on Endeavor's face was gone.

"You let someone like that go to fucking school here!", Endeavor snapped.

"Clark isn't a threat", All Might stated, "He has a good heart, but he values his family above all else. There is nothing wrong with him wanting to protect them! Yes that was extreme, but I was there when we arrested the assassins. He isn't a murderer, he was enraged someone went for his family. Any man that cherishes his loved ones would have done the same...I don't condone it, but I can't belittle his love for those he cares about. Wouldn't you have gone ballistic if your family was attacked?"

"Admittedly the only difference between that and what you do is the scale of the damage.", Best Jeanist stated, "You damn near cripple villains."

"I don't destroy fucking mountains!", Endeavor snapped, "If he went off in the city there wouldn't be a damn thing left!"

"Enough.", Nezu snapped, "Clark is acknowledging his faults by telling us now. Arguing over this isn't going to stop the impending battle tomorrow. I need you to all focus, and keep a cool head. The children and public are our top priority when the fighting starts. You have to put your personal issues aside for now, tomorrow will likely be the most difficult battle most of us have fought in a long time."

All Might clenched his fists with determination.

'This time...this time I will finish so Melissa doesn't have to bear the weight of my mistake on her shoulders.', All Might thought, 'I won't let you escape again, All For One.'
