20 Chapter 20 - Back To Normalacy

In the following weeks that followed news of my action spread like wildfire. The literal morning after the leader of Romania called me personally to thank me for removing Vlad. He stated that for as long as he could remember the country had been under his thumb. As soon as they confirmed I took him out he had the members of the Romania government on Vlad's payroll arrested and charged. Not only did he call, but the families of Heroes they had killed also called to thank me.

Having given the media pictures of him and his wife sobbing like children when I delivered them, all of them felt a measure of relief seeing that they paid for their crimes. Section 13 announced that I had acted upon their request, and that no civilians were harmed. At the same time the Japanese police announced that I had caught several dangerous assassin's after they broke into my home, and labeled my actions as self-defense in their capture. As for the incident at the hotel, the Police said that a Hero was nearby with me when I arrived.

From their arrest the Japanese police managed to secure information on nearly two hundred different assassination jobs the group performed. Giving the police ledgers, notes, and meeting recordings they had, formerly untouchable crime bosses found Heroes and Police showing up to arrest them around the globe. My actions had single handedly lead to more than a thousand arrests, and had collapsed several crime groups who were caught completely off guard.

"You are famous!!", Momo said looking at the broadcast, "They are calling you Guardian Angel!"

'That sounds so cringe worthy...', I thought, "They can call me whatever they want, I am just happy my point got across."

"You mean the fact that crime has all but vanished in the area?", Mina asked, "Criminals are hiding from you after taking out those people."

Taking the 5th Ranked member of the world's largest crime organization really put a damper on crimes committed in the area around where I lived. Low ranking villains turned themselves in while more established ones up and left the area. Sure the Heroes were a bit upset, but the public was cheering that they had the lowest crime rates in the country now. There were still a few criminals dumb enough not to take a hint though so the Heroes still had some work.

"Yeah...but now I can't do my Community Hero work anymore.", I sighed, "The Heroes said that if I got to continue helping freely that I would run them out of business. Well a few Heroes asked the government to let me have my license since I had done so much, but they still won't budge."

"Didn't the US, Section 13, and EU ask the government to grant you permission to help them?", Melissa asked.

"Yep...the government said I couldn't till I joined U.A, which is a few years from now.", I sighed, "Doesn't mean they can stop me though, it be really difficult to stop me from doing stuff in the US since I am still technically a US citizen. It's just if I push too hard they could deny me the right to stay here to attend school."

"That wouldn't be good.", Toga said, "You'd have to leave us all behind."

"No more Hero work!", Nejire scolded.

"I know I know, I will focus more on the medical side of things for now.", I stated, "The government approved my medical equipment so now Dad is making a hospital where I can treat people. It should be done in a couple of months. I already have people booking visits..."

"Hehe well your hospital will be the most advanced in the world.", Melissa said, "No hospital can offer the results yours will be able to provide."

"It's so cool that you are going to have a hospital named after you.", Ochaco said.

"If you say so.", I chuckled.

Melissa had somehow managed to persuade her father to move into the city nearby. Much to the heartbreak of her father she spent most of her time over here now showing me her plans, or discussing things with me. Originally Nejire and her butted head, but now they got along...somewhat. Dorothy got her pardon after telling Charles everything she knew, and was now staying with us. The Japanese government pardoned her as well under the agreement she would never go back to do assassin work again.

"Clark, what are we going to do today?", Dorothy said jumping on my back.

"I am open to suggestions.", I stated.

"Didn't you just finish that levitation machine for the government to hold Absorption Quirk criminals?", she asked, "Can we play with it?"

"You mean like float around?", I asked with a grin.

"Yes!", she laughed.

After seeing the people that killed her family being taken into custody, Dorothy had opened up quite a lot too me. She was still rather shy around others, but if I was present it was like a switch kicked on.

"I guess we can do that.", I said, "No harm in that."

Asking to tag along too, Eri looked up at me with those big eyes of hers.

'Damn it...those are my Kryptonite in this world.', I thought.

Taking her with us, we went to the lab and had the girls test it out. Mina didn't quite understand how it worked, and launched herself into the levitation field. Watching her sail across the field, and then fall out of the other side I caught her before she crashed into the ground.

"Mina...the field only has levitation over where the lights are.", I stated.

"Hehe...oops.", she laughed, "Thanks for catching me."

Sighing, I tossed her back into the field and let her do some rolls through the air. Jumping in after her, the others join in to play a game of tag. Pushing each other out of the ring, they would immediately jump back in and push someone else. They were having fun which was all that matters.

---Section 13 Western US Branch Office---

Coming out of another interrogation with Vlad and Mind Breaker, the North American Branch Head was in a great mood. While they may have lost Japan as an ally, the capture of Vlad reconfirmed Section 13's position globally. The EU was now very much ready to allow the group to perform operations now that they had seen Vlad wiped out overnight.

"That boy is the goose that keeps laying the golden eggs.", she said approaching where his daughter was being held.

In the days following her capture, she had seemingly been in some sort of trance. Known as the Daughter of Death, her reputation for killing was known globally. There were only a handful of people that could match or exceed her in effortless killing. After meeting the Guardian Angel as Section 13 called him, her cold personality she was known for had morphed in something of a complex...revolving around me.

The Daughter of Death apparently felt some sort of connection with me having been the only person to resist her Quirk. From what they found it was like she had a Death Reaper following her killing people at her command. They had several people confirm it so it wasn't like they were crazy.

"Still though...even a Quirk with some sort of spiritual entity linked to it can't hurt him.", the woman thought, "The more we learn about him the more of a gap there appears to be between normal people and him."

Watching her grind herself on a pillow with my face taped to it, the woman looked quite disgusted. She didn't answer any questions, and refused to say anything but ask for him. It was like she was bat shit crazy for him to point of insanity.

"Of course my darling, we will have twelve children and they will all be faithful to us. No one will come between us, and I won't ever betray you.", the fifteen year old girl whispered to the pillow, "We can start as soon as you are ready. If anyone interferes I will kill them for you. I will do whatever you want, just don't leave me alone."

Seeing her slobber all over the pillow, the woman quickly left.

'She is a mental hospital patient for sure.', she thought, 'That level of creepy is something the public doesn't need exposed too. Our sources say he has quite the group of young women around him. Letting her go in the future would likely cause them to be in danger...and he'd come after us. Maybe...maybe I should let him know about this.'

---Underwater Base---

"Hahaha!!! I can't believe he took Vlad and his family down in a single night!!", Succulus laughed after her subordinates brought her an update, "No wonder none of those morons are replying to my calls!! I bet they are all in hiding because now the balance has tipped in our enemy's favor."

"This is wonderful news My Lady!", Gravi said.

"If I see him I will give him a kiss before I suck the life out of him.", Succulus said, "I have to show my gratitude for his kind gestures. Maybe I will even keep him around as a pet instead of killing him!"

---All For One's Hideout---

'Damn it all...that child is putting a damper on my plans. The media is starting to call him a Guardian Angel, and isn't covering the damages he caused!! They are focused solely on what good came from his lashing out.', All For One thought, 'Those sheep are grooming him into the next All Might, but in his case he instills far more fear into the villains. All my contacts won't even spy on his family anymore let alone look into them. Every single one is becoming a coward fearing he will come for them next.'

"Sir please your medication.", the doctor insisted.

"The longer I sit here the more the boy is destroying the foundation of my plans!", AFO said with a mixture of pain and anger, "The more he pushes the more criminals are going into hiding globally!! At this rate he will get an International License either from here or the US. Once he does there is no stopping him from foiling any villain's plans. Doctor, get me a phone I have some calls to make."

"Sir...please don't push yourself. In your current condition doing anything strenuous will destroy your body.", the doctor said.

"I thank you for your concern, but staying down any longer will drastically change our effectiveness in the future.", AFO said.

Doing as he was asked, AFO dialed a number he knew well from years of working as supplier and buyer with each other. Ringing only twice, a man on the other end answered the phone.

"It's been awhile.", the man said.

"Too long.", AFO said, "I need to get my hands on some military grade equipment, think you can help me?"

"Of course my friend, you tell me what you need and I will get it for you.", the man said.

"Good, I will need the following items. I know they will take some time to get, but the process needs started now.", AFO said, "They are..."

Giving him a list of items, the man on the other end said it would some time as a few items were locked under the most security heavy areas in the world. Giving him the price, AFO sent him a 25% down payment for the work to begin. Ending the call AFO looked at the doctor.

"I need you to have the Nomu Project and Project Overdrive in four and half years.", AFO said.

"It shall be done.", the doctor said with a smile.

"Good, now then...send my pupil in. It's time I start to train him further.", AFO said.

---Wayne Manor---

Returning from the lab I found Rumi, Yu, and Nemuri waiting outside for us. Not expecting a visit from them I asked what was up.

"Heard you can't do Hero work anymore.", Rumi teasing me like I hadn't already told her.

"Apparently a bunch of baby Heroes didn't like me doing their jobs.", I laughed.

"Bunch of little...babies.", Rumi said stopping herself from saying little girls.

"So what brings you over?", I asked.

"Well since we can't go on patrol dates anymore, we came to see how you wanted to proceed.", Yu said, "It's been a while since we went on one."

"Don't call it a date...", Nejire said with a twitch.

"Ahem...well I was thinking that all of you seem to want to get stronger so why not build us a gym. Since I couldn't do Hero work, I worked on getting the gym ready. I was going to call you tonight, but since your here let me show you.", I said.

"You know I have a high standard for gyms, right?", Rumi said walking inside, "A half assed gym isn't going to cut it."

"Rumi...I promise you haven't had a gym like this.", I snickered.

Talking them down to our...new basement, the women all looked dumbfounded to see the gym. Made from materials I collected in space, I could guarantee there was no set like this in the world. There was no way they could break this stuff. Walking around looking at the weights the older women were impressed with how heavy duty the stuff was.

"I need you two to stand outside the room for a few minutes. This next feature would be quite painful for you.", I said to Eri and Melissa.

"Is it dangerous?", Eri asked.

"Of course not, I wouldn't put any of you in danger. It's just something to help them train harder.", I said with a smile.

Stepping out like I asked, Melissa and Eri watched from outside the room.

"So you ready for the part I thought of specially for you Rumi?", I asked.

"Is there a training robot!?", she asked with excitement.

"Nope.", I said turning a dial to four.

Immediately all of the women groaned as they felt their body weight increase.

"What the...hell!", Midnight gasped, "I...I can hardly move."

"This gym is built in a gravity chamber. I can control how much gravity is in here from 1 times to 400 times normal gravity.", I stated.

"Hell yes!!", Rumi shouted feeling the strain all over, "Finally something I can train my body with all at once!"

"You are crazy!", Yu said falling to her knees.

"You don't get it!", Rumi shouted, "We have the means to crush those men now!! None of them have this sort of equipment, and we have exclusive access!! All of the younger girls have the opportunity to smash all the boys when they apply for U.A. You have the opportunity of a lifetime here!"

"You think so?", Momo gasped.

Turning the nob back to 1 they all gasped with relief.

"You have the chance to train without any one laughing at you.", Rumi said, "No one to make judgments on your work ethic. We can all get stronger together, and show the world that we can match those cocky men any day!"

"So I can get ripped like Boulder Johnson and Stone Cold Cena!?", Mina shouted.

Imagining her that ripped, I hoped she wouldn't.

"Lean mean muscle is the way to go.", Rumi said, "Having big, bulky muscles slows you down."

Waving Melissa and Eri in, the started wandering the gym. As the women were going over planning workout routines, Eri found the surprise I installed.

"Brother what is this hot water, it smells weird.", Eri said.

"I installed a hot spring.", I stated, "Figured everyone might want to relax after-"

Dashing past me the the women ran into the changing room, and then came out in robes to soak in the hot spring. Moaning as they entered the bath the three almost looked like they were going to melt.

"Is the same stuff from that planet you took me too?", Rumi asked.

"Yes.", I said.

"Wait what!?", Nemuri shouted, "He took you off the planet!?"

"Hehe I already got the chance to soak in this stuff before. You will feel like your floating on a cloud for a week.", Rumi said, "Best gym ever."

"What about us!?", Nejire shouted.

"I have a large pool down here along with a game room.", I said.

"So we can go swimming?", Itsuka asked.

"Yep, I made a special area for Eri so she can swim with us.", I said patting her head, "With special pool toys and a floaty ring for her."

Giving me a hug as I picked her up, she gave me a big smile. Suggesting we give it a try, we all got changed and jumped in. From then on my time was spent spending time with everyone, inventing, building my Jupiter Fortress of Solitude, and preparing for the main events of the story to come around.

---Several Months Before U.A Entrance Examine---

The time went by quickly once my hospital was built. Almost the moment it opened people from around the globe showed up asking for treatment whether it was for extremely rare diseases, or for unique Quirks. Processing people quickly I got information on diseases, and was able to program the Med Bots to remove the diseases. Those people were in and out in minutes with minimal impact to them, at worst just a little lethargic.

Quirk issues were a bit more difficult to manage, but not impossible. Doing in-depth tests, and research into each individual I came up with plans to help them. Whether it was using my psychic ability to block accidental quirk activation, or simply finding a method for them to train their Quirk safely I made sure I helped everyone I could. The relief I could see in their eyes was quite touching. Most families that showed up were completely out of options to help their children, and I used out of the box thinking to help the kids control and manage their Quirks. For example, one child that came in had emotional issues due to his Quirk making his intelligence off the charts. With nothing to challenge him he acted out, and caused his family nothing but trouble.

Introducing him to 3D chess and D&D, his life did a complete 180. Pairing him with other kids like him, he was immediately pushed to his limits playing them. I kept him at the hospital overnight to ensure he didn't have any issues, and instead found that he was much more relaxed than when he came in. His parents gave him rules for being able to play, but overall they were thrilled he wasn't causing issues anymore. Doctors prior tried using medicine and dieting to manage him, but all of that failed. My prescription was simple and something none else would have thought of.

Once the hospital got running smoothly, my attention returned to the development of the Phantom Zone portal gun. Pitching the idea to Section 13, they funded the project and I presented them with the final product three months later. Testing it out with their most dangerous prisoners they were extremely happy to have them trapped in a different dimension where they couldn't escape except into the void of space, assuming they ever found a way out. It was during the drop off that I met one of my most...crazed fans. Staring at me intently from her cell Vlad's daughter made quite clear motions for sexual acts. Both he and I were dumbstruck by her actions. Warning me about her fixation I got the test over with, and got out of there before something weirder happened. Since then she managed to escape Section 13, and is in hiding. The funny part was she left her family behind which was very weird.

During my time doing limited Hero work, I ended up helping train the girls in the gym. Spending time helping lift weights, doing laps in the pool, and dieting. Midnight and Rumi climbed the ranks quickly during that time thanks to the training, and upgrades I gave their suits. Both women were now sporting improved versions of the mid-air foothold generator I made for Rumi, now named Air Steps. In addition I added a thin outer exoskeleton to their suits that increased their over physical capabilities much to Rumi's satisfaction. As for Yu I helped her get everything ready for her debuted as a Pro Hero. Equipped with the best tech I had for her Quirk, I managed to make a giant mallet for her that adjusted with her. In her case our training also awakened her Quirk so that now she could adjust her size how she wanted, and could adjust parts of herself to a degree without adjusting the rest of her body.

As for Nejire and Melissa both girls easily made it into U.A without problems. Since Melissa wanted to be a Hero like the others, I ended up making her a suit similar to the Blue Beetle but with my AI Kelex running the finer controls of the suit. Surprisingly she managed to only lose to Nejire in terms of her score. Her father was fascinated by the suit that integrated with her seamlessly. Asking for information I told him that it wasn't something I would share with him. Tech for my harem was exclusive for them only, no one else could have it.

After them came the girls I would be entering U.A with, and they grew up well. Looking like they did in the show, just a lot more toned and muscular, they were considered our middle schools beauty queens. As for me, well thanks to the occasional Sun Dip I filled out and got taller. Now five foot ten the boys in our class didn't dare approach the girls, aside from Deku and Bakugo who were our friends. Bakugo had calmed down since elementary school, at least towards me. Most of that was partly due to Dorothy kicking his butt after he broke a pot she made for me in art class. That was hilarious as after she beat him up, his mother clobbered him when she picked him up. Apparently Dorothy had called his mother to tell on him, and that sealed his fate.

Deku had improved immensely due to taking my advice to actually workout and train. No longer a string bean he did fill out, but not as much as I had hoped. He did keep his dream alive though of becoming a Hero which was good. Helping him train the last few months, I got him squared away for this meeting. Once the encounter happened it was on him to convince All Might he could be his successor.

---Middle School, End Of Day---

"So what are we doing this evening?", Momo asked.

"Tonight's date night isn't it?", Itsuka replied, "Pretty sure everyone will be over."

"Did we even decide on a movie?", Mina asked.

Listening to the girls talk, I looked over at Bakugo harassing Deku like usual. Today specifically was the day that the sludge villain would attack, and I already had things ready to go. This was the single opportunity Deku would have to catch All Might's attention. I wouldn't get involved aside from the setup, and I was the only one that knew what would occur today.

"Clark, do you have any input?", Toga asked.

"Wasn't there some scary movie all of you wanted to watch?", I asked, "Why not watch that?"

"It should be a romance or at least a comedy.", Ochaco said, "Eri wanted to join in remember."

"Oh right, she really loves her big brother.", Toru teased.

"Stop saying that...", I sighed.

The girls enjoyed teasing me about how much Eri loved being around me and spending time together. In the past year she had started calling me by my name, but the girls refused to let me forget she called me big brother before. Getting our stuff gathered up to head home I waved at the two boys before heading out with my group. Crossing my fingers for Deku I hoped he would meet his destiny today.

Heading home, I plopped on the bed with the girls to find something on Netflix, something I introduced through my parents company. Surprisingly no one thought of it prior so we pretty much cornered the market on it from the get go along with making YouTube. Sure I may have stolen the ideas from services in my world, but no one else was doing it. There was Herotube and Yo Tube, but that wasn't the same.

"So what do you want to watch?", I asked.

"You pick.", Momo said looking at her application to U.A.

The girls were going over the apps to make sure nothing was entered incorrectly. In my case I got an invitation to join from Nezu directly after several Heroes recommended me. Apparently I wasn't even going to need to test for anything to get in. My grades were the highest in the nation, and my Hero work was something they took into consideration as well.

'Consideration my ass...you don't want the other kids comparing themselves to me. I get it, I am not mad I get to skip the tests but...to put me in a class of my own that's just wrong.', I thought, 'It's no different than showing off in the tests. Making a specific class for me alone was just as bad.'

Nezu apparently made a specialized class for me where I would be doing both high school and college classes on top of Hero courses. He made the class name Class 1-S so it kept in line with the other classes. Knowing they had to take precautions to ensure I didn't inadvertently crush someone's dream of making the cut...I wasn't happy about being by myself. I had hoped to make it into class A or B, but it never occurred to me they'd go this far.

Picking a British romance mystery, I got snacks made up while we waited for the others to arrive. Nemuri, Yu, and Rumi arrived together in their civilian clothing ready to relax for the evening as I was going back up. Following me they got settled in just as Nejire and Melissa flew in through the window.

"You didn't start it, right?", Nejire asked.

"Of course not.", I chuckled.

Jumping onto me, she wriggled her way into my lap as Melissa took her spot on the bed. Once Eri was comfortable I started the movie. As the ladies watched the movie I started considering my next move. Honestly the entertainment in this world was terrible. Sure there were some good things on air, but nothing like the classic stuff I knew should be on around this time.

'I could introduce Dragon Ball Z, Bleach, One Piece, Naruto, Sherlock Holmes, and many other classic literature to this time period. Theoretically I could make a killing off of those books...would be nice to have other things to my names instead of just tech.', I thought.

Sitting on Nejire's lap, Eri held my hand tightly when the more intense scene came on. Admittedly a murder mystery may have been a bit much for her, but I figured if she was scared she would tell me. Finishing our movie, the ladies went off to change before we went down to workout. Doing some stretches before we started, my mind was on other things tonight. I had heard the commotion going on with the sludge villain, but had tuned it out after confirming it happened.

"Everything alright?", Rumi asked.

"Yeah, just not as excited as I thought I would be going to U.A.", I chuckled.

"I was meaning to ask, did Nezu really make a class just for you?", Nemuri asked.

"You know it...I know he is doing it so the other students don't feel like they are inferior too me.", I stated, "I am not an arrogant person like...Boom Boy. Not really sure the reasoning behind him doing all this."

"Part of the reason is you will be going in there with a big target on you.", she stated, "Melissa and Nejire are super popular with the boys, and both of them tell them they are dating you."

"There are actually quite a lot of perverts at the school.", Nejire said, "Boys are always trying to sneak a peek using their Quirks. Not all of them do, but the ones that are doing it don't take no for answer."

"We even had some visits from perspective applicants that creep me out.", Melissa laughed sheepishly, "Some short boy with dark spheres on his head. He snuck off from the tour, and we caught him on the ceiling."

'Mineta...', I thought, 'The one person I might end up beating up in school.'

"I hope he doesn't make it in.", Toru said.

"Says the girl that is invisible.", Itsuka laughed.

"You have some protection.", Toga said.

"Well we can beat him up if we catch him.", Mina stated.

"Assuming Clark doesn't get him first.", Ochaco laughed.

Being their spotter as they used the weights, I spurred them on to meet their goals. After an hour long workout, they got into the hot spring while I got things cleaned up. Joining them afterwards, the ladies discussed our plans for the weekend.

The following morning I walked in to class waiting to see how Deku was, and if he managed to convince All Might he was a worthy successor.
