"The Sword of Damocles"

After arriving at the Investigation Department, Jonathan glanced at the clock. It was still before eight o'clock, so he decided to detour to visit his teammate Luke.

He took the elevator to the floor where the medical center was located and asked in the elevator, "Moss, is Luke awake?"

"Security Officer Luke is in good condition and has been transferred from the intensive care unit to a general ward," Moss said, giving the room number. "Visiting hours are from seven in the morning to eight in the evening. You can go visit him."

The elevator stopped, and Moss controlled the indicator lights in the corridor to blink a few times, showing Jonathan the direction.

Arriving at Luke's ward, Jonathan knocked on the door twice before pushing it open.

Luke was having breakfast. Apart from looking pale, he seemed to be in good spirits.

"Morning, Jonathan." Luke drained a cup of nutritional drink.
