As the Kraken sank into the sea with the gigantic cocoon, Jonathan had a strange premonition – it would return.

One day, the cocoon would hatch, and whatever was inside would re-emerge.

According to the findings of the Mechanical Dawn Organization, the secret cult intended to return the cocoon to the sea, wishing for the return of their deity. The fairy tale by Melville seemed to hint at this, too. The cocoon on the Kraken might have been a god or perhaps the dying offspring of a god, as depicted in the story.

If it was indeed a god, revealing its true form so easily seemed unlikely to Jonathan. He felt that a god would not appear in such a manner. Could the cocoon then be its offspring?

The underground dark river, teeming with Xenobiotics creatures, mirrored the scene on the Kraken... Could the cocoon sank into the sea and returned here through the dark river?

Is the end of the underground dark river connected to the ocean?
