Yin

Startled, she quickly stood up with a blush he thought would reach all the way to her toes. But that was probably just the heat still around. Feigning anger, "get dressed you idiot! To think you'd take advantage of me! Hmph!"

Chuckling he didn't move, truly aggravating her. "What clothes? Do you have any to spare, all mine were burned to a crisp. Even my beastsouls"

Only now realizing this, she blushed further this time in embarrassment. Not having an spare of her own, she sent a spare beast soul to him.

Noticing it quality, he donned the beast armor that only covered his lower half. "Hmm, so trustful to spare a sacred-blood beast soul to a stranger?"

"Huh where not strangers!" Again realizing the implications of her words. "Plus we're in a dangerous area we could run into more of those butterflies." She rationalized.

He sighed signaling to continue their journey, admiring the sight of all four catagories of ordinary, primitive, mutant and even sacred were maxed out and his super geno points were 3. Most of the life essence energy being redirected to healing his body.

Sensing the new ability to consume life essence. He judged that the infusion of a supergene into the users body and most likely maximizing the other four geno points allowed the ability to consume life essence, at least for him.

As well as recognizing the beast soul from the super creature.

They continued their descent, eventually reaching the location of interest. Ren slowly sat opposite of a once supremely powerful person now a corpse holding a tattered scripture.

Huangfu Jing stood aside watching curiously at Rens actions.

He carefully picked up the archaic scripture of the Dongxuan sultra. Spending some time silently reading through the pages before placing the pages back in the embrace of the corpse without disturbing the peace they silently left.

"Why such respect? Who was that skeleton? And why not take the treasure." Huangfu Jing asked curiously.

"The person the skeleton was once a nobody. Though the fate attached to that scripture is one that should never be disrupted." He replied, hyper focusing on the information he just learned, and how it would help him going forward.

Sensing the seriousness in Rens behavior, she remained silent for the remainder of the journey back.

Rens mount was destroyed in the previous encounter so they both sat atop Huangfu Jing horse mount amplifying her immature thought process being in such close contact with him.

Reaching the shelter, Ren sighed knowing he needed some time to work his qigong out now that he had all the needed resources or atleast all that he could get his hands on at the moment.

Turning to Huangfu Jing to say his farewells for the day. "I got some stuff to do back in the alliance, I'll probably go hunting again in a few months I'll keep you updated if you still want to team up."

Frowning slightly, "of course I want to keep hunting together. My master is trying to keep me on lock down back at home for a while, I just snuck out for the day. Though I'm going to have an entourage if that's okay?" She asked in hope.

Ren having a troubled look, didn't give a straight answer. "Maybe."

Before walking off, leaving Huangfu Jing disheartened.

Arriving back home Ren opened his notebook on qigongs adding all critical details of the Dongxuan sultra. He meditated on them, before starting a new page thinking of ways to utilize the sultra in the best possible way with the few functions of different qigongs he had noted down in the notebook.

Not finding great many points to link the qigongs together, and testing brief hypothesis with little results.

He turned in for the day, lucid dreaming about about qigongs. He found his research of his life reaching a nexus with his aspirations of his previous life.

After entering the alliance Huangfu Jing was greeted by her master mascurating a disappointed face, before her master could reprimand her, Huangfu Jing apologized and bowed. "Sorry! It won't happen again, it was just a one time thing. I promise."

Hmphing, her master turned away signaling for her to follow, which she did reluctantly knowing she wasn't getting off scot free.

After a day of torturous training, she noticed her master went so far as to turning off all the teleporters, having all the martial hall disciples apply when they wished to enter the sanctuary, all because of her while leaving her with a bitter taste in her mouth.

She was sat down with her master asking her questions about the little escape she went on.

"What did you do." Her master asked, in a tone more akin to an order.

"We ju—" Huangfu Jing was interrupted.

"We?" Her master asked, realizing the implication of the outing.

Shyly she responded. "Yes, me and Ren." Pausing slightly. "We or I guess Ren was looking for a cave in the desert. I just tagged along, he did all the work fighting off all the beasts." She ended.

"That's it?" Her master asked, getting a nod in response, they sat in silence for a moment.

Interrupting the silence."Master, when the group arrives at the shelter and I can go out and adventure the sanctuary with your permission, can I invite him?" Huangfu Jing asked getting a glare in response, she wasn't given an answer.

Every moment of Rens life led to the creation of his own qigong. With a great imagination, an abundance of resources and knowledge coupled with his intense dream and opportunity given in the form of a second life.

He couldn't stop thinking about creating this qigong seeing it as the final step of entering this long awaited dream becoming reality and the true beginning of his second life full of opportunity and hope.

Time passed in the final stages of his research and the very essence of his purpose. He got close to its completion, but now he was stuck with the question he had contemplated in the very beginning of his research.

It was impossible to have a qigong with both pinnacles of yin and Yang without a god. Though their was a vague loophole to that problem, two to be exact that he later learned after one of his many epiphanies.

But Han Sen ended up practicing twice the impossible, how could he make that possible in a single qigong.

With the idea of life encompassing both body and soul. The mind being a middle ground. He held the idea with a simple yin type of energy being wind being compatible with the simple Yang energy being earth. Perhaps due to his breakthrough in his body enhancement geno art fusing with the idea of his regeneration geno art taking advantage of the wind and earth of his environment as a medium, coupled with his insights in yin Yang blast.
