"I actually just got my acceptance letter from Central Military Academy a week or so ago." Ren responded, his eyes not leaving the rock formations.

Taking note of his response, Huangfu Jing silently decided to apply for the same military academy next year.

Eventually spotting the creature. A mythical mountain goat of pristine gray fur and dark demonic horns streaking down to the beast's eyes.

He noticed it was all by its lonesome, not near a heard it maneuvered the rock cliff of the rocky formation with grace. Not bothered by the extreme environment and the risk its maneuvers could yield if a single mistake was made.

Think about facing the creature, without revealing anything to Huangfu Jing. His first thought was to face the creature after she fell asleep though he quickly dismissed the idea knowing the noise of the fight would be loud and definitely wake her.

It was not entirely impossible to just fight the creature in the open allowing her to watch. But it was a gamble, he could his the life essance but not the level of strength used in the fight.

It would be up to chance if she realized the creature was a grade higher than sacred-blood beasts. 

But if he repeated the occurrence, it would be all but inevitable that she'd figure it out.

Opting to try to find a way to lead the creature a distance away from their camp. 

He stretched his arms and legs before informing Huangfu Jing of his plan and leaving before she could refute anything.

It was similarly a risk to leave her all alone in such a hostile environment. But after having the nightmare-cat clear the area he felt satisfied enough. 

Though he wasn't leaving the nightmare-cat to babysit her. Not wanting to risk his own life, he brought the cat with him just in case.

Giving up the advantage of a sneak attack in an attempt to grab the creature's attention and lead the beast in a more distant direction.

Throwing rocks to incite the creature's will to fight, the creature began chasing Ren.

After leading the beast enough distance away. He halted his movements ready to face the beast.

Close to colliding, Ren dodged right before making contact sending a fist to the beast's body. It was hard, it's fur coat like the rocks it lived upon.

Having to rely on yin energy, he maneuvered the aggressive Super goat a hair's breadth away. Neither touching the other. Ren's movements were too exquisite for the goat to touch him. While the goat likewise would rely on unpredictable hops to avoid his attacks.

They both could only land a strike if they both committed. The goat wasn't smart enough to think of possible solutions, unlike Ren. 

He had an idea, altering his stance. He revealed his palms, no longer dodging he was now reacting to the goats attacks. 

Repositioning himself to take the goats literal head on head but. Ren gently placed a palm in its way, while his other on the goats neck. 

Redirecting the goat's force with his palm. His other palm twitched before exploding forth with his and the goats own energy.

Sending a concentrated shockwave toward the goat even after his palm seemed to rupture the goats internal throat organs. The beast struggled to breath, while coughing blood it wasn't gonna fall so easy.

He also wasn't left unscathed. Shivering and twitching from using himself as a medium to transfer energy. He wasn't injured, but his entire body was strained 

Flexing and stretching his muscles he focused back on the beast. Knowing it would soon die, he sent a palm strike of yin energy into the Goats head effectively killing it a few moments later.

"Super creature devil-ash goat killed. No beast soul gained. Flesh inedible. Consume it's life-essence to gain 0 to 10 ordinary geno points randomly."

Ren cycled through his qigong to recover faster, while thinking about this new breakthrough in yin-Yang blast, or rather a whole new technique that took inspiration from the yin-Yang blast.

He took his time messing around and gaining a more realistic idea of the principles. Before leaving with the life essence. He could now lick the essance into a liquid when he cycled his qigong. Having adjusted his body to the supergenes he'd no longer have an issue consuming the essance.

"Life essance of devil-ash goat eaten. One super geno point gained."

Tallying up to 11 super geno points, he made his way back to camp, happy that he didn't need the help of his beast soul pet.
