"Father!"

"What's the problem Odin, my son?"

"It's Leo!"

Hearing Leo's name, the Baron couldn't help but frown deeply.

Was his assumption correct?

"What happened to Leo?"

"Nothing happened to him, father. Father, Leo is a Cultivator, and he should be at least at the Qi Refining Realm."

"How sure are you? You are not even able to sense a person's aura, talk less of Qi! You're still at the Body Cultivation Stage, so tell me, how you are so sure?!" Baron Eric shouted at his son. Leo had succeeded in getting on his nerves for no reason. Just who did he think he was?!

At this point, his face lost its previous calm; his head was filled with jealousy.

Apart from the first and second sons, his other sons were useless to him. Even his last born. Even his two sons that are known prodigies by everyone, pale in comparation to Leo's assumed cultivation.

He was able to break a record and reach Qi Refining Realm at the age of sixteen.

As Odin watched his father, a wave of fear engulfed him.

His father had started to subconsciously release his cultivation aura because of anger, and now Odin knew what it was to bear the brunt of a powerful aura.

He usually watched from the sidelines, just to mock and laugh when his father scolded the servants at any small mistake when Baron Eric was having a bad day.

But today, the act changed. That's how ironic this world is: he could see and feel the curious glances of the servants boring in from all sides with their ears trying to get as much information as they could before they passed by.

They did not dare stand and watch the show because once the angry bull cooled off, they would bear the consequences of lazing around.

Odin fell to his knees, trying to resist the urge to vomit. His actions right now seem to not have a single effect on his father. Normally, Baron Eric would have run to grab him to make him stand up.

'Is his anger the result of jealousy or disappointment? Whatever it is, please stop! Father, calm down and think before you kill me—please!' Odin was scared. He was scared that he would die at any moment, and worst still, at the hands of his father!

He did not dare to say that out loud because such long words would only infuriate his father further. His every action now was done after meticulous thinking. Any mistake now and his father would immediately badly injure him, or might even kill him.

'Maybe I play that game way too much? I should put my focus in my cultivation in the real world and not the one in the game. If I had not put all my focus into the game, I would be at least at the sixth stage of Body Tempering. But what can I do? It's too hard to resist as only in that game can I move freely, without being caged like a criminal. It's just too good to be true. What should I even do right now?'

His father was there shouting in anger, comparing he and his brothers to Leo. The veins on his temples were visibly bulging, seeking to tear away from the thin skin holding them in place to the skull. His beard dancing about as his mouth opened and closed at an unnatural speed.

After thinking for a while, ignoring his father's ranting, he decided to get through this and bravely face whatever was in store for him.

"Father!"

Odin tried to make his voice as soft as he could, the fear of his father helping him, making his voice softer than he was actually trying to make it.

Thanks to that, his father was finally starting to calm down. As his father calmed down, Odin sighed a sigh of relief.

'My short temper is getting worse by the day, and it is greatly affecting my cultivation. I need not to let my anger get the better part of me' The baron thought with relief.

He sighed before asking.

"So, tell me, what makes you so sure that he is in the Qi Refining Realm?"

"Because he could walk on air," Odin answered, going straight to the point, not even daring to beat around the bush.

It is a known fact that in the Qi Refining Realm, one would be able to walk in the air for about five seconds.

The time would only increase with practice and cultivation advancement.

"What!?" Now the Baron was more than sure that Leo not only in the Qi Refining Realm, but also the boy that the Viscount was talking about a moment ago.

'What even makes the viscount so sure that Leo will steal it? She said it was from the way he looked at the pill, but I am sure that it was not just that.'

'She must have a treasure that could see the future or something like that. But the boy looked good hearted, hmm? Gah, what am I even thinking! Looks can be deceiving! If he is in that realm, then how was he able to reach it so fast? If I remember correctly, it hasn't even been three months since they went to the talent stone. Did they lie to hide his true talent? If so, then this matter must be investigated. But if he really is a 'No-Talent', then he must have the backing of bandits or someone powerful. But what is so special about him that they would not even have a second thought in wasting resources on the boy? Whatever it is, I am surely wrong somewhere—but where? Should I go with my first son, Nux, tonight to accompany him and investigate together?'

A boy he had never cared about, nor even thought for a moment would become somebody, is now a Cultivator. If the boy has a backing, then it has to be people above of his own level of Baron. Compared to him, that person would be at least an earl.

The Baron knew his place and his boundaries, and that if he dared to cross those boundaries, then he would be dead without even knowing what killed him.

That's why he decided to investigate from the sidelines.

No matter what, Leo is a threat he will have to eliminate--no matter the cost. And, if Leo dares to steal, this would be a perfect opportunity to kill him.

For that, his first son has to be sent. If the woman is right, and sure about what she said, then this would be perfect.
