011 Trying to Hide Something

After switching the lights off, the light from the moon shone through the windows. In a queen-sized bed, the mother-children group are squeezed together. Claire hugged the both of them, one on each side. The little fellows that were quietly stuck at her sides were extremely exhausted from playing so much all day. Claire gently patted the children's arm as she hummed them to sleep. She was also trying to calm herself down. She had to return to the family villa in the morning. Since it will be morning, she has to take advantage of her father's presence there. Her stepmother and stepsister will never return her mother's things to her, but her father would definitely do so.

The children in her arms teased each other a bit before succumbing to slumber. Claire gently pulled away her numb arms and carefully got off the bed. Under the shiny light of the moon, she looked at her adorable twins lovingly. After a minute or two, she walked out of the room and proceeded to her aunt's room.

When she opened the door, she was a little surprised to see Sophia still awake. Her aunt is sitting by the bed, drinking water. Sophia looked up and asked, "Claire, they did not return your mother's things, did they? Not returning your mother's things, they're simply too much!" Looking at her niece's dejected face, Sophia felt indignant for her.

Claire stared at and rubbed the arm that was tightly gripped by the man. She heard her aunt lightly said, "Go look for your father tomorrow and have a good talk with him." Although she didn't want to, Sophia suggested this to her niece as she felt her heart ache looking at Claire's despondent face.

"Aunt, can you promise me one thing? Please don't tell anyone that I have given birth to two children. Especially to the Scott Family." Claire pleaded with concerned eyes. Knowing that her niece is doing this to protect Frank and Emma, she positively replied, "Of course I won't say anything. If anyone asks, I'll say that I accepted money from someone to help them raise the children." Hearing this, Claire revealed a grateful smile.

"Do you really not know who is the father of your children?" Sophia suddenly asked.

"I don't know and I don't want to know." Claire responded.

"If the children have a father, you wouldn't have to work so hard." Sophia commented while sighing.

"It's not hard that hard to my children. My children are very good. I am a very blessed mother." Claire said with a child-like smile.

The pair of little treasures were already her world and they had given her so much sunshine.

Sophia looked at Claire's young face. She shook her head thinking that Claire was obviously also still a child.

The next morning, Claire's alarm rang on time. She quickly climbed out of bed, tied her hair with a rubber band and made a beeline to the bathroom. Sophia was already up and busy in the kitchen. She noticed Claire, "You're up early?"

"Hmm. The kids still needs to register at the kindergarten." After tidying herself, she started to wake up the children. She woke up her son first and helped him dress up. "Mummy, hug..." Frank was still half-asleep. His big, obsidian eyes were barely opened. Claire carried him and sat him on her lap as she helped him put on his pants. As she was helping her son, Claire couldn't help steal kisses from her son. Frank gave an adorable expression, allowing his mother to repeatedly kiss him.
