Slowly but surely

Jimin pulled Honor Among Thieves out of his bookshelf. My CEO Husband was too cliche for him, but he managed to skim through it. As he flipped the book he had in his hand open, he wondered why he even purchased a copy of that book in the first place. Then he rolled his eyes, remembering it was Taehyung who had insisted on him reading the book. And so, with his normal breakfast sandwich in one hand, his bottle in the other, and his book tucked under his arm, he slowly made his way out of the apartment.

I feel the stars.

Energy pulses against my skin, murmuring secrets about this small galaxy, about orbits and alignments and asteroids streaming in space. Impulse makes My want to dive and cruise those currents, but I control these urges.

I shift my attention to-

Jimin heard a snicker.

His head flicked up instantly, and he saw Yoongi, a pale hand co wrong his mouth, his eyes barely eyes anymore, two black skits against the milky white of his skin.

"What?" Jimin snapped.

"It's- it's just h-how you mouth your words as you read. Ahhhh, I have to come up with a new nickname for y-y-yoooooooo"

Yoongi was definitely howling in laughter now. He looked seconds away from ending up on the dirty floor, hands clutching his shaking stomach.

Jimin narrowed his eyes and gave his trademark scowl. "Shut up."

"Okay." Snicker.

Jimin huffed in annoyance.

"Ahhhh. I can't take it any longer. Come here..." Yoongi cooed, lunging for jimin, his fingers pinching the air.

"No. Min yoongi stop-"

Too late.

Yoongi already had his fingers pinched against the soft cheeks that was of Jimin's, all the while giggling boyishly in delight.

"Your cheeks are so squishy. I should call you mochi!"

Jimin jerked away from yoongi's grasp.

"Stay away from me."

Yet, yoongi was somehow deaf to jimin's words. He plopped himself next to jimin and, if it was even humanly possible, lounged on the hard plastic seat like it was a recliner to sink into.

He closed his eyes and smiled.

"Ahhhh. Now I want to eat some mochi."
