18 Part 17

Sung Jin woo POV

The carriage ride was as dull as you would imagine it to be, Alea and the blond haired Lance, who I now knew was called Lance thunder lord were sat next to each other whilst I sat on the opposite side. You could cut the tension in the air it was that thick, and the blond Lance didn't do it justice by choosing to be silent for the entire time. I could tell that Alea noticed this as she tried to make talk between us all, only to fail and to talk to me about the mission. The annoying thing was having to hide our relationship as it made it harder to find time to be together.

We continued through the air as I sighed at the slow speed of this carriage and wondered if it would have been better to open a portal there and erase the blond lances memory. It seemed like a good idea but I wanted to spend more time talking with Alea so I dismissed this idea quickly. We continued on this adventurous journey until it got closer to night and we disembarked in the beast glades and set up camp for the night.

As it got darker we sat in silence around a fire as I made food, and because there was nothing to cook with we had to hunt for food. After a few minutes of waiting I took the food off the fire and plated it and handed it to them.

"Thanks" Alea said with a smile.

"Grunt" from the blond Lance. To be honest I wasn't expecting a response so I was slightly surprised, but it wasn't as if I cared as we probably wouldn't see each other again.

After the meal we then discussed who would take watch for the night and because I didn't feel like sleeping I chose to do it. They left to go get prepared as we had the necessary tent supplies in the carriage. I was leaning on a tree as they set up their tents and began by looking to see what everyone else was doing, and as predictable as can be, they were all asleep. As I did this I felt a familiar aura come and sit next to me as I made sure to surround the area in my mana so anyone else won't see what's going on.

We didn't speak as we didn't have to, all we needed was each other, and that was more than enough. I felt her rest her body against mine and close her eyes whilst I played with her hair, noticing her smile in the moonlight. This continued for a while, I sat there stroking her hair and she laid against my arm, even though it was uncomfortable I didn't really mind as long as she was happy. To my surprise though she got up and moved in front of me in a crawling position with her face close to mine as I looked at her in confusion.

"You seemed uncomfortable so I got up" she said smiling.

"I wasn't" I said noticing what she was wearing and looking at a particular part of her body as I felt my body heat up.

"Hmmm.... What are you..." she didn't even finish as she followed my eyesight to where I was looking and blushed deeply whilst I turned and coughed.

"S-sorry" I said as I couldn't look her in the eye.

"I-I-it's f-fine" she said as I could see her blushing in the dark leaving me captivated by her looks as if she where a goddess. I reached out my hand and brought it to her face and stroked it, revelling in the smoothness that came with it. She closed her eyes and brought her hand on top of mine and squeezed gently, as if telling me to keep stroking her. I moved around to the back of her head and pulled her onto my chest, wrapping my arms around her and burying my head in her neck.

It felt so warm and comfortable that I didn't want to let go of her as we continued to sit there in silence until she moved and I let go. She repositioned upwards so she was sitting on my lap and her upper body was parallel to mine. We stared into each other's eyes lovingly and subconsciously moved closer and closer till our lips where going to meet. That was until I felt something fall and hit me on the head breaking me out of what I was doing as I saw that it was an apple.

I was annoyed at the fact that I was hit in the head with an apple at such a happy time, and it made me unhappy, until I heard laughter and turned to see Alea almost dying with laughter. This made me think of a plan, so as she was distracted by laughing, I moved my hand to her back and stroked my finger gently down her spine causing her to jolt.

Alea POV

I was so caught up in laughing at Jin woo after an apple fell on his head that I didn't notice his hand move to around my back as he stroked his finger down my spine causing a shocking sensation to run through me. This caused my back to arch and my chest to protrude out as I fell onto Jin woo with my full upper body resting on him. This led to something that neither of us thought about as I looked up to see a faint blush on his face that caused his strikingly handsome face to radiated under the moonlight.

I repositioned myself so I was facing him and brought my lips to his as we crashed together in fiery passion. I could feel the longing in him as I deepened the kiss and wrapped my hands around his neck whilst he moved them to my waist. This kiss seemed to have lasted an eternity as we stayed there unaware of the flow of time, as all we wanted was to be with each other. This lasted for a long time as I didn't want to stop kissing him, but sadly I saw that the sun was starting to rise so I stopped kissing him and moved away as I could see his smiling face.

I smiled back at him as we still had our arms around each other so I leaned in and rested myself under his neck and found it to be infinitely more comfortable than a bed as I closed my eyes and fell asleep.

Sung Jin woo POV

I felt her heart beat and breathing and smiled as I realised that she had fallen asleep. I didn't want to move as she looked comfortable as she slept and didn't want to disturb so I sat there in silence for the rest of the night holding her. Eventually I saw that the sun had risen to a certain point and decided to wake her up before the male Lance noticed us. I used my mana to slowly wake her up as she squirmed as if to say to let her sleep for longer, and after seeing that this didn't work I decided for a more direct approach.

"Alea, time to wake up" I said in her ear gently as to not scare her.

"Hmmm... morning Jin woo" she said stretching whilst still on top of me.

"Morning Alea" I said with a smile and lightly kissed her.

"Oh, did I sleep on you for the entire night?" She said noticing her position.

"You did, but it doesn't matter, it was actually quite comfortable" I said seeing the distraught look in her eyes and trying to wave the situation away.

"Okay, well shall we get ready then?" She said with a sigh of relief as I nodded and she got off of me.

For the next few minutes I spent cleaning both myself and Alea with mana whilst dismantling the illusion I put up. After that the male Lance got out of his tent and we carried on with normal preparations of eating breakfast and packing our things up before heading further towards the dungeons, and finally after what seemed like forever, we got to the location and I sensed a large clump of mana. This clump of mana was most likely the large amount of monsters that we where meant to fight, but what interested me even more was that the mana of these creatures was tainted and was the most impure that it could be.

We descended into an open field and saw a huge hole in the ground that reeked of rotting flesh and blood. I turned and saw that the blond haired Lance was sweating slightly whilst Alea had a furrowed brow. This was most likely due to the impurity of the mana, as she didn't have a core so she was more prone to sensing the mana in the atmosphere. I transmitted to her that everything would be fine and that nothing bad would happen and saw her gaze relax slightly as we entered into the dungeon to whatever would await us.
