Ra pov

I wonder what this life is coming to. After being told of Tsui Village by Tom I went ahead to look for Deri. We met in the streets where she was chowing down very heavily on some weird looking snacks. I wonder what came over me to allow a twelve year old to keep safe over three hundred million beli and also walk around searching for information. She gave me a large roasted piece of meat on a stick which I took graciously and learnt of a very interesting and unique taste. When I inquired what animal it was she said something about giant bull deer fish. A very weird name indeed for a very weird world.

I thought Deri was the same as I was in terms of intelligence or even worse but she proved to be better. Haaa! How could a twelve year old girl get information on Tom while I failed horribly. She even learnt about Tsui Village which I informed her of while we walked in search of a hotel. It was believed to be a myth, a legend where yagara bulls were believed to go as their final resting place. It was said to be under this island which presumably is filled with water scrapping off my idea of visiting it as a devil fruit user.

I can't believe that god couldn't take away my power's weakness to water though it was better than being helpless during the night. Now I'd have to just make this island a sightseeing area before my business is completed and I looked for a new island to visit and the logpose corresponding to it. Though not difficult to aquire I would need one that goes back to the start of the grandline rather than towards New world which I don't think I am ready for...yet.

While I was deeply buried in this thoughts of mine Deri was dutifully by my side asking for where hotels were. She was like a maid instead of an upcoming navigator. I wonder how she'd look like in a maid dress...Nope no loli thoughts, she's both underage and not my type. I observed her ever-changing expression mixed with lies while she talked to the inhabitants of this island. Yeah she's not my type. As the day ended and the sun set we found ourselves a hotel and after a meat filled meal I retired to bed.

The night passed fairly quickly and here I was hearing rumors that the island was sinking at a very slow pace. I was tired of scaring off adults so just for today and maybe for the rest of my stay here, I would retain my normal persona and talk amicably with the shop owners. It was indeed easier talking to them but due to not meeting very weird and unique personalities except my father for the sixteen years I've been alive, it made taking their words, behavior and actions at face value very difficult.

It was not much but I learnt that Adam wood promised to be used by Tom was very rare to come across causing me to wonder where he got the confidence to get it. I learnt that this island wasn't very interesting putting a halt once again to my explorer tingling sense at the back of my head. Though not rich in information, I'll read what I can find while I trained Deri in haki and increasing her base strength. Like I planned two months passed and my ship was completed.

It took much less time than expected due to rarity of Adam wood but it was done and I was ready to leave this boring island. Deri had gotten hold of a log pose that hadn't yet registered the magnetic field of the island after this allowing us to go in the opposite direction back to the start of paradise. I spent time meeting with Tom though he was usually busy and now I was having a conversation with him in preparation for leaving and paid him the amount I owed. Handing over the 40,000,000 beli he requested I glanced the majestic ship before me.

It was very hard to describe in appearance but it had white sails and was painted entirely in red. There was one cannon at the front and two at the sides of each. The ship had seven rooms large enough to fit two people in each. I gave information to Tom on what I desired while it was being built, the ship having three toilets and bathrooms, a kitchen and a meeting room which would also be used as the dining room. It wasn't large as compared to other pirates ships but it demanded attention. What remained was a jolly roger which I wouldn't bring to existence till I was branded a pirate.

Tom brought me back to reality saying, "Kid this is the fruit of my labor and some other shipwrights, what do you think?"

"It's better than I imagined."

"That's great and all but know that you will need to find a shipwright of your own to ensure that it remains in best condition, cause though Adam wood is hard, it isn't invincible."

"I understand I'll be sure to find one."

"Okay, now happy sailing kid." He said as he prepared to leave.

"Wait!" I shouted to stop him before continuing.

"Here, take this earpiece den den mushi, I was given by a friend in Sabaody Archipelago. It was supposed to be a way to contact her but Deri has another so be sure to contact me if you ever want to cash in that favor."

He took it and replied," Whatever kid, though I don't know how much help you will be."

He was underestimating me but that was okay. He had met men like Roger and his crew so a kid like me couldn't be of much help according to him. I'll leave him be with his assumptions but till he requested my aid, I'd remain at sea fulfilling my dream. I bid goodbye to everyone present while Deri had completed loading the ship with all our possessions. I boarded my ship, the 'Truth Bearer ' and smiled at the little hard worker aboard it. She gave me the stink eye and said," I am not your slave," but I just waved her off as I had won the bet fair and square.

She had challenged me in a strength test, the loser having to load the ship and lost.

I mean, we did agree to not use devil fruit powers and haki but what did she expect. My body grew stronger everyday while under the sun while hers didnt. The ship set sail, our next destination;The Long Ring Long Land.
