2 The Deal with the Devil?

' I guess I'm dead ' Sol thought to himself as he looked at James grieving his death in front of him.

'I always wondered what would happen after death, but who would have thought that instead of going to heaven or hell I would simply become a soul left to wonder the earth' Sol thought internally as a sneer slowly crept on his face as he began to wonder what expression those religious fanatics would have on in their faces after experiencing what he is.

*Crack*

'Huh?' Sol remarked as he looked around wondering where that sound came from only to realize that he seemed to be the only one who heard it as James and his Goons were still focusing on his body.

'Where did that sound come from?' he wondered only to suddenly feel a tremendous pressure on his soul as he started to soar up into the sky as space collapsed above him looking as if it had been cut by an extremely sharp sword.

'You have to be kidd------' he thought only to be interrupted as he was swallowed by the crack.

'How interesting' I thought as I stared at the soul in front of me.

'It should be impossible for a the soul of a mortal to reach here much less survive'

'So why is he still alive?' I wondered as I stared at the abnormality before me.

'Maybe his memories might contain the answers I need' I mused as I looked into the soul of the mortal before me only to become shocked as I realized that its origin is completely grey.

'That should be impossible though'

'How could anyone but a 5-D being be above the laws of karma that govern existence?'

'But then again isn't this why I enjoy travelling, to meet beings like the one before me that shouldn't exist' I chuckled to myself deciding to greet the mortal before me after viewing its memories.

'Hmm as expected, his origin did affect his personality'

'The only thing that surprised me is the world he's from, it seems that its located quite close to the Akashic Records If even details of other realms and universes are being projected into the minds of the humans their'

'Could that be one of the reasons for his unique Origin?' I wondered as that seemed to be the only possible answer i could come up with at the moment.

'It seems that i'll need to pay a visit to that world of his at a later date'

'Now then what should i do about him, if left here he will eventually be devoured by a void beast or become a play thing to another God, but that would be a waste considering how unique he is'

'Hmmm, lets meet him first and then decide what to do with him' I decided as I dragged the mortal into my dimension.

'Where am I? It was the only question on Sol's mind as he stared at the nebula before that seemed to have no end

While most beings would be scared shitless in his situation he simply found it pointless to worry about something out of his control and would rather just deal with the problems as they come. Looking around Sol slowly became entranced at the wonder before him that seemed to contain all the colors in existence and an infinite number of stars.

'How beautiful' he remarked as he slowly became entranced with the view around him only to feel a tug on his soul as a portal opened before him and he was dragged into it.

'Sigh , here we go again" Sol thought as he entered portal.

"Hello"

Immediately after existing the portal that was what Sol heard as he looked before him and saw a humanoid being in a black tux that seemed to be made of shadows warmly greeting him while sitting in a chair.

"Where am I?" Was the first question Sol asked as he looked at the being before him with curiosity that the being obviously noticed as he chuckled and stated.

"Quite the interesting person you are, while I already expected this type of reaction from you to begin with, I'm still quite shocked at how calmly you've reacted so far"

"You expected?" Sol asked noticing the weirdness of the words of the being before him that seemed to being implying that he knew him.

" I'M not implying anything, I probably know you better than you know yourself "

"You read my mind?' Sol asked in a calm voice despite eeriness of his situation.

"Not just your mind but your memories as well" the being responded

"What do you want from me?" was all Sol asked in a calm voice while inwardly wishing to kill the being before him for violating his mind despite knowing that his mind was being read.

Luckily for him it seemed as if the being didn't care at all what thoughts he had in his mind and just responded to his question.

"I want to offer you a deal" was all the being said as a chair made of shadows appeared beside Sol.

Seeing the chair appearing beside him and remembering what the being just said Sol simply sat down as he waited for the being to explain what the deal was.

"Do you remember what happened upon your death?"

"Usually Upon death a soul is summoned into the cycle of reincarnation where its karma is used to decide what to do with it"

" But that didn't happen for you , your soul never received a summoning instead it was left to wonder the earth before being summoned by the void due you being an anomaly"

"The void?" Sol said out loud remembering the place he just came from that entranced him with its beauty.

"Yes the void, different from what your assumption of what the void is, it's actually just a place where all the anomalies of different universes are dumped to never be seen again but usually all those anomalies are quite powerful. The Being stated as he looked at Sol.

"Isn't that just a cosmic bin though?" asked Sol

"Huh?" was all the being could utter as he burst into laughter realizing how absurd what he just heard was.

"HAHAHAHHAHAHAH!!"

'I never once thought I would hear someone compare the dreaded void to a bin' The being thought internally as he realized that he might have underestimated the mortal before him.

'He might even have the potential to become a decent ally' he thought.

"What's so funny? am I wrong?" Sol muttered under his breath while shaking his head inwardly labeling the being before him as crazy without realizing that he was the one with a screw loose.

"Nothing" was all the being said remembering how dense Sol was and decided that it best to just continue with his explanation.

"The reason why your soul was never summoned was due to the fact that it had no karma, which should be impossible in the world your from and as such you were thrown into the void"

"Why don't I have any karma?" Sol asked

"That probably has something to do with the world you're from and your souls origin"

"The origin of a soul refers to a unique imprint that each soul has, your imprint shapes everything about your personality/consciousness "

"But some imprints like yours even grant a special ability or power" The being stated while staring into the eyes of Sol to see that they still only portrayed calmness and indifference.

'Good he isn't flustered'

"Now then my offer is to allow you the chance to leave the void and be reborn in a different world or universe of your choice along with anything that you want"

"So are you interested?" The being asked.

"First explain what my world was to do with my origin being unique and what do you mean by your choice?" asked Sol not even becoming a bit flustered by the seemingly great deal in front of him.

'Nothing in the world is free' he thought.

'Good he is cautious' The being thought while reading Sol's mind.

"Your second question is connected to your first"

"So let me explain, the universe you're from seems to be close to the Akashic Records allowing information of different realms and universes to be known by the humans there in the froms of ------" The being explained only to be interrupted by Sol who finally lost his calm and asked.

"Are you trying to tell me all of those Novels, Anime and manga were real?

"Yes" was all the being said as he stared at Sol whose eyes shone like a kid whose Christmas present came early.

"Okay so what's the catch?" Sol asked despite his apparent excitement.

"I'm not dumb enough to believe that there is not a catch" Sol stated as he stared at The being before him.

"The catch is that you have to become a 9-D being in 100 thousand years or else your soul becomes mine" The being stated with a bone chilling voice.

"Why didn't you just take my soul now?" Sol remarked a with never before seen seriousness present in his voice.

"That's simple, you have potential and I need a new ally"

"For what?"

"That's not something the current you needs to know" The being replied

"So do you accept?"

" I don't have much of a choice do I?"

"No you dont" The being chuckled.

"Then yes I do" Sol answered

"So how does my wishes work?"

"Your wishes work on the principle that every action has a reaction and your wishes can't interact with anything that involves the 6-D and above" The being explained

"For example if you were to wish for a supreme weapon, while you would still get there is a chance of being hunted down and killed for it or if you wished to be born with a strong bloodline that bloodline has to come from somewhere and if your not specific enough that bloodline might even harm you so its best if your wishes connect well with rules of the universe you plan on going to and supports each other"

"Do you understand?"

"Yes" Sol nodded

"Okay so what world or universe do you wish to go to?"

"I wish to be reborn Into the Douluo Dalu continent as a member of the blue lightning tyrant dragon clan born the same year Qian Renxue" Sol replied while adding.

"I also want my Martial Spirit to be the Radiant Holy Dragon as for my powers I want it to be stellar Manipulation along with having the bloodline of the Light Dragon king"

"I also want to have all the memories and experience of Yoriichi Tsugikuni as it relates to Sun Breathing Method" Stated Sol as he finally completed his rant.

"Not a bad choice all of these compliment each other and wont cause too much of a feedback but why did you choose those specific wishes " The being stated as he thought about the wishes Sol made.

"Well it's quite cliche but that's because My name means Sun and back on earth when I studied Mythology my favorite God was Amun-Ra" Sol replied while scratching his head in embarrassment.

'Amusing' The being thought

"I see, well this is where we part ways Mortal"

"Don't Let me down" The being said as he began to gather power in right hand slowly forming a Golden vortex before Sol.

"Once you step into the portal you will feel an agonizing pain as your soul is ripped apart as the laws of that universe are imprinted onto your soul and as your wishes are granted" The being stated as he stood beside Sol who while staring at the vortex in front him failed to realize the being had gotten up from the seat it sat in the whole conversation.

Feeling a hand on his shoulder and remembering the words of the being beside him Sol tried to move away only to be pushed inside the vortex.

"YOU BITCH !!" shouted Sol losing his calm.

"Goodbye Mortal !! , Oh I never did tell you my name right well it's"

"Lucifer"

And that was all Sol heard before entering the portal and passing out.

"ARGHHHH!!"

{A/N: Not gonna lie i got bored while writing this and about the reaction thats just to explain all the changes I plan on making, its been along time since i read soul land and i never read past soul land 2 so there might be a lot of new elements in the story also anyone read Sealed Divine Throne planning on connecting it to Soul land as way for him to become a 9-D being. Comment any advice you have }
