Chapter 6: Abandonate Omnes Spes, Vos Qui Intrastis

Level up!

Felia Vilda Drethar reached level 3!

- Fated one gained +1 Agility

Vincent Schwartz

Summoner | Lv4 Exp: 11/30

Strength 4 | Agility 3 | Stamina 3 | Wisdom 3 | Intellect 4

Suddenly a surge of power filled Vincent's body, refreshing like a spring breeze, but after a moment, his muscles and bones began to spasm and creak, followed by a burning pain that filled his entire body.

Felia's talent began to cause Vincent to shudder before almost kneeling; however, he remained standing through his sheer force of will.

'Fuck! Why does it hurt so badly!?'

[This is because her talent bends the rules, unlike levelling up from your efforts.]

[For her, there will be pain when you improve, but nothing compared to you who doesn't even have the blessing of any divine gods]

'Wasn't this levelling system brought by the daemons and demon gods that invaded?'

[The system of growth was always here from the very start.]

[It's just the Daemons and the demon gods used it for their benefits, adapting it to the dungeons.]

Now long after the pain began to subside, while the intense cramps finally vanished, beside him, Silvari wiped his head and cheeks with her cold hands, trying to help cool him and remove his sweat, flicking her wrist as the frozen beads of sweat smashed into the cavern wall.

A moment later, Violetta returned from collecting the cores gazing at Vincent for a moment, her eyes filled with concern and worry as she raised her brows.

"Vincent, your cute summons turned their corpses to dust; thankfully, the cores were unharmed; since you did it alone, these are for you. 5 basic cores should be worth around 20 silver, while the leaders are worth a little more.

Violetta flicked her wrist as the cores, and larger shard flew into his hand while Silvari continued to fan his strained head.

"Are you alright, Vincent? You seem to be in pain..." She asked, still worried.

"Yeah, I just overworked myself a little, sorry teacher."

"Mmm... no problem..."

Vincent was honestly happy; the 20 silver coins were almost a month or two worth of income, and it came so easily; somehow, parting with his mother and sister might not be too hard.

"Come on, let's go! The first floor is easy, and the boss chamber should not be far.

'The boss, I wonder if I can hold my own? Honestly, I hate the feeling of my attributes being so low; I want to be stronger, more powerful not only with spells but with my own body!'

Vincent felt strange being so cordial and treating her like a teacher; in the past, she used to belong to his mother's dungeon group, spending most of her nights at home and eating with them.

'Honestly, It's a little strange how she is so distant these days; this woman used to hold me like a doll and carry me around...'

He began to get immersed in the memory as Violetta extended her hand to pull him forwards; this woman was once scolded by his mother for trying to sleep in his bed when he was 12, a strange woman that caused him to feel stress when he was younger.

Vincent snapped out of his stupor and then looked at the concerned Violetta, who looked at him strangely.

"Are you sure you are okay? I can arrange for you to try again next week." Her voice was soft, like speaking to a child.

"No, I was just stunned by your beautiful face and charming voice."

Since he didn't want to admit the truth, he instead relied on the flattery learned from a young age, sometimes earning him an extra few potatoes or meat at the butchers and market.

'Hmmm, she looks weird; well, at least it's not an angry face anymore.'

[...]

He began to walk forwards, and since Violetta stopped moving for a moment, he walked ahead, with the cute Silvari looking between them with a playful smirk.

'He said I'm beautiful and my voice is charming! Ah~ I am so happy even this scarred face and husky voice is to his taste, hahaha!'

Violetta's face, out of Vincent's sight, was twisted with delight as she covered her face with both hands, hiding the pink cheeks.

"Finally.... after 12 years of grooming him, it's time for payment!" She murmured with a trembling voice.

A moment later, she realised he was gone and began to dash to catch him up quickly.

'No monsters... Kinda boring!' Vincent thought to himself.

The pair were quite lucky, maybe unlucky, as they didn't encounter any other monsters along the way.

Several minutes later, they arrived at a large round room filled with grey stone walls and several pillars like a temple. In the far north of the room was a massive stone door, with a massive skull with a strange banner, seeming to be like mana but something strangely different.

-Abandonate omnes spes, vos qui intrastis

Recommended Level: 3-5

Recommended Party Size: 2-4

Thankfully all the text was written in the common human language, but his mind didn't understand it.

However, the school taught them the basics; the guild had stupid rules to forbid anyone without a class from learning the details of the dungeon.

'Probably wanted to keep their monopoly on the dungeons... damn greedy nobles.' Vincent thought to himself.

The top words, though, he couldn't read them at all before a soft hand tapped his shoulder as Violetta leaned forward, whispering, her sweet breath brushing against his cheeks.

"It's a strange language from the world of the Daemons. The rough translation is, 'abandon all hope if you wish to enter', which is eerie, right?"

"But we have a while to wait, so let's sit over there on those comfy benches!"

With that said, she grabbed Vincent's hand, dragging him over to the east and sitting down with a loud thud; he followed her as they both leaned back, looking upwards at the wonderful starry spectacle before them.

"It's starry ore." Violetta's husky voice sounded.

"This ore is one of the rarest in the world because of its strange properties to always look like the stars that fall in the night sky; almost anyone would kill for even a small piece."

'Strange, then why does nobody steal it?' Vincent thought.

"I know what you are wondering; I was the same. The dungeon doesn't allow mining until the second floor; even the most learned scholars don't understand why this starry ore will never leave."

"Oh, I'm glad, in a way, so that every new student can see this beautiful sight."

Vincent was about to ask about the others when the sound of people approaching came from the tunnel; at first, he thought it was another group before the familiar outlines of the trio appeared.

"See! Here they are; we are so late!" Felia said with a pouting voice.

Felia dashed forward and dived at Vincent, her body was filled with dirt and several small cuts, but she seemed fine; Vincent just gave a wry smile before catching her soft body, feeling the wonderful sensation of her chest pressing against his.

'So soft...!' He thought.

'So firm and big!' Thought Felia, her hands near his lower body and abs.

Dirk sneered at them as he walked straight to the other side of the room. His words in the classroom were just for show.

'I don't trust this guy; something about him seems fake.' Vincent thought while Felia continued to molest him, which reminded him of his sister Milla; thus, he could ignore it.

"Mwah!" Felia kissed his cheeks several times but didn't dare to go for his lips, as she blushed and seemed delighted.

"Thank you, darling! I would surely have died if you didn't level up so much! Vincent you're the best hehe!"

Silvari pointed her hand towards Felia before several shards of blunted ice hurled towards her, smashing her breasts and forcing her to shoot several metres into the air before rolling away.

'Dirty elf slut! Get your stinky drool off, my master! He doesn't need your idiotic germs polluting him!'

"Hmph, stupid elven slut!" Silvari cursed in a cute voice, causing the others to feel shocked that this spirit could speak a common language and curse!

"Aahhh~ My tits hurt, Vincent. Can you make sure they are okay? Maybe kiss them better?" Felia joked as she stuck her tongue out, without any sense of grace an elven princess should have.
