1 The meaning of life?

What is the meaning of life?

What purpose does it have?

You have a limited amount of time to achieve what you want to, right.

some people spent their life how they want, some people waste their time on seemingly useless things, and the majority of the people are not able to fulfill their ambition as they are not competent enough to achieve their goal,

some people prospered.

some people trembled in fear.

some people were anxious about their short comings.

then how do you think 4 year old live in a world filled with fear, hopelessness, and anxiety.

how do you think four-year-old boy is going to behave when he is faced with a world like this.

Fearful? Anxious?

at least that is how we think when we imagine a kid living in this world.

but the boy in question doesn't care about these things. even if he knows that the world in unfair. even if he had the short end of the stick in is life he never cared about it.

'it was supposed to come sooner or later guess this is it for me'

These are the thoughts of the 4 year old boy who was laying on the bed in a white room with no windows and a strong smell of antiseptic.

the boy in question has cute face, black hair the cover his small forhead blue eyes and a frail body. This child could feel it. He faintly realized.

This really was the end for him.

However, this child wasn't particularly sad or anything. It really couldn't be helped. This boy knew the day would come sooner or later. It was just this day came a bit too quick.

According to the result of the medical examination, he only had about ten years left. Although this part was unexpected, did that even matter?

"Be it now or ten years later makes no difference."

Perhaps for a normal person, they could do a lot in ten years and create beautiful memories. Humans were that sort of beings, even if they knew they would die the next day, they would live their fullest to leave behind a legacy and show the world the proof of their existence.

An average person would've snapped if a doctor said they only had 10 years left to live, cursing and even blamed God for their misfortune.

But 10 years sounded too long for this child.

"Even if I still have another ten years to live, there's nothing that would change."

This was not because of any complicated reason but simply because he could barely move his body.

Just like an elderly who was at their death's door, the boy's body couldn't support him like a normal person. Taking this into account, to be frank, even if the boy had another ten years, he wouldn't be able to step foot outside to see the world.

He could barely took a step from the bed.

That being the case.

"Why bother to waste more time?"

Time passed slowly but surely.

but this had nothing to do with the boy,

He could feel his body gradually lost its strength and collapsed. Along with his consciousness which slowly faded away.

At this rate, in just a few seconds, the boy's organs would soon stop functioning. In other words, he would die.

No, a better term would be dying young.

That was the boy's destiny.

if only I had another chance.

In this world, did this sort of thing exist?

The boy didn't even think there was such a thing. At that moment, he obtained precisely what he didn't believe existed.

.....

So, when people die, where do they go?

The boy doesn't know.

"This… Where is this?"

The Boy gazes at his surroundings in confusion.

At this moment, he is in a place of vast sky and land.

The land is barren, not a single flower, grass or tree grows from it, only a layer of earth is exposed to the air. It is a sight one is unable to derive any warmth from.

There are four walls in the four corners of the barren land.

The four walls seal in the interiors tightly, secluding the world within from the outside.

All in all, this is a barren prison.

Although there isn't a ceiling on top, Fang Li couldn't feel the presence of any sunlight. There is only an unknown source of light illuminating the space.

Yet, in this enclosed space, on the wall right in front of him, there is a door.

He walked towards the door as on instinct and when opened the door he saw modestly furnished room with a table and two seats and on one of the seats there was a person shrouded in light siting there.

As he was about to ask him. he beat him too it.

"Looks like you made it here as thought your soul is different from normal humans"

The boy was confused as if didn't understand what the person was talking about soul?

normal human?

"looks like you didn't know that you were special, huh" the person nodded in understanding"your world doesn't has maic after all your soul is powerful but your body was to weak to handle it so it collapsed. you wanted a chance right.."

"If that is the thing you lack, then I will give it to you."

After all, the boy was only four-year-old, at best, he had knowledge but not experience. Therefore the boy's mind had to ask a single thing.

"Who are you?"

That was the only question he had. And the voice actually replied.

It was no longer aloof and emotionless like before.

"Me?"

As if expressing a complex expression, the voice said.

"I'm a god"

"so do you want a chance to live again in another world" the voice went back to his aloof voice.

"I can... live" at this time every question in the boys head disappeared

The person didn't answer.

A radiant light filled the boy's vision.

"Ahh"

Seeing the bright light, the boy cried out. That was the only expression when one was extremely moved. Even though this was an unfamiliar feeling for the boy, he instinctively knew how to react.

The boy saw this light as his saving grace and reached out his hands, trying to grab the ray of light. At last, what he saw in the bright light was a dazzling, quite plain and mysterious yet attractive ring.

Henceforth, this boy could finally, obtain a new life.

It's just a pity that this life was not similar to what the voice had said earlier…
