Sam went back to the real world. When she checked her mobile phone, she saw lots of missed calls and messages from her energetic brother.

His messages were mostly inquiries about her two days journey inside Summoner's Path.

What soul she choose.

What her first skill is.

What she was doing on those two days.

Why she did not connect to him inside.

Would she still work inside.

Will she could find some boyfriend inside?

The last inquiry irritated her.

She choose to ignore her brother. She still lots of thing to do. Her simple business downtown still needs of preparation. Even she is little reluctant, she needs to work on her real world and create money. However, her enthusiasm is still there. She just feel more excitement inside because all her experiences are all novel feelings.

On the other hand...

PIERRE'S POV:

We are now working on a D Class Mission we received from a well know family. It also coincidentally near on our next target beasts we have researched for Angel.

I suddenly remember my big sister who just recently play this wonderful game. A little smirk form in my lips.

She seems a little excited that she forgot to inform me of her own journey. Though she has a personality to be extremely focus and could not bother to talk with her pitiful and handsome brother, I still felt sad.

However, our recent talk informs me that she work full time on daylight and would play all night.

'What do you think my sister soul got?' I suddenly asked my teammates.

Angel looked at me and 🤷.

'There are wide variety of souls given by dev. We could just expect extremes. You may wait for her replies and maybe she would connect with you here inside'

User codes could be easily connected within each other inside for the purpose of chats and communication. A little handy, isn't it?

We form this small team consisting of just three of us. We coincidentally bump with each other when I just gotten my own skill. On the other hand, they are walking toward the center of the plaza to receive their first skill. As someone who is kind with everyone, I volunteer to help them. While walking, they told me about their own soul they choose and suddenly my mind struck by an idea.

I have a grand dream. From the day this game were announced, I believe there would be a time for competitive gameplay, and recently a big bomb were dropped.

There would be a big day for competition.

So, I plan to train myself for competition.

As someone whose nerdy on fantasy games and novels, I thought of nice and interesting combinations of us three to easily gain experience and level up.

A basic three way team, and also popular even on anime and manga. I plan to have a physical attacker, a mage, and a support.

'Hey, I have a suggestion?' I suddenly blurted that time.

'What about teaming up with me? I am a melee attacker focuses on physical attacks. I think we could compliment each other and you could still chose your own skill right now. We still have a lot of room to choose from.'

We talk for about an hour before we agreed unanimously. Although they are a little reluctant because we were not familiar with each other, I convince them that we could still disband separately if the time comes.

However, that time did not came.

From the time they get their first skill, the day we also received Fox Pelt Gathering Quest, About 30 days went by.

I am playing a little late but my big sister just recently play this game.

She was maybe doing beginners quest while I am now approaching to level 30.

Those 30 days journey were full of adventures.

Right now, we have at least 2 skills on our arsenal. And we could feel the differences with each other.

Like me, who constantly work towards physical attack, my physical attack, basic speed and attack speed were the highest among us but my Mana and Mana Regen were the lowest.

Angel whose a mage wasn't the one with highest stat in Mana, Mana Regen and Ability power but was Chlea. However, her attack speed (using her legs) is almost the same with my cloth attack speed.

However, her ability power is far cry than mine but not so high like Chlea.

On the other hand, Chlea's stats are like glass cannon character without attack power. Her Ability Power was so high that we felt regretful for her not to choosing the mage route. On the other hand, her speed, physical defense and attack speed were so low that she started to practice defending herself. Although the three of us has almost the same elemental defense, into a mid-low spectrum of stats.

She could only choose to adopt 😔.

'Quest Open!' I thought and my quest bar appears mid air. Both girls look towards my quest bar.

Beast Capture Quest:

Our young master needs to absorb Grade D Fire Morning Tree. Please capture it at Burnt Grey Cave.

They have a great rewards for completing the quest but mostly experience points, mana and health potions.

'Devs were really stingy with items and weapon awards, it is almost negligible.' Chlea complains. 'We do lots of mission and we didn't even find a single weapon'

'Devs force us to rely on our own skills and souls' I replied. 'But what amaze me is that NPC's looks like real people. They could even chose their own skills. Which means, they look like growing together with us.'

'What if they are killed? Can't they respawn?' Angel suddenly asked.

Then all of us suddenly stop talking. It is really possible.

'That is more than emersion,' I suddenly said. 'Which means there are no similar path,events and variables due to this constraints. There maybe a recurring events similar to the real world but all activities do connect with each other'. I said and we all look with each other. Variables is just normal here. If an emperor were suddenly be assassinated, quests and paths leading to him would suddenly cut-off. Moreover, different quests would suddenly spring because of such monumental event. How would the devs handle it?

'Let's just take it what is within our view, after this rest, let's go'. Chlea shrugs. We nodded and resume our journey.

'Let's me scout first,' I said while looking at Burnt Grey Cave, and slowly go inside. Based on the information we gather, this cave is composed of several layer dungeon and the Tree is on the 3rd level. For the first two level, F and E rank monster inhibit and rare boss spawn occasionally. However, they could still contend with it even they would stumbled upon it.

Although he is not a scout in nature, he could still run if he encountered strong opponents. Fortunately, he did not.

'Let's go. I saw Fiery Bush Sprite.'

We assume our basic three man team. I am in the front and Chlea is in the middle. For someone with low stats on defence and speed, we need her to be protected.

Just from entering at the entrance, we saw a group of F-Rank Sprite. With simple glance, we both understand each other. Butterfly wings sprout behind my back.

I felt surge of speed and ambush those pitiful Sprite. Behind my back is Angel with fiery red heals, running towards our enemy. Just a few minutes passed and we killed all of them. Gradually, we slowly walks inside looking for the entrance dungeon while fighting sprites and other low-level beasts.

'Devs really give us hard time, everytime someone enters the dungeon, the layout would change' Chlea said softly. As she complains, she could not afford to raise her voice in fear of some stronger beasts.

They are now within the 3rd layer and looking for the Fire Morning Tree. The Burnt Grey Cave could be describe as stinky smokey cave. They could smell a powerful assault of sulfur and as deeper they went, the smell also increases.

They still fight beasts but they choose the safest route they could find in preparation of capturing the Beast Tree.

'Look over there, that tree looks like Fire Morning Tree' I said softly while pointing a red big tree emitting occasional fire on its leaves. A group of Grade E Red Foxes. Just like players, the devs also create a system which the beasts could naturally grow inside the game.

'Color' titled beast are common on F-E rank. As the beasts evolve from 'Normal' Type into 'Elemental' Type, most of the time, the element they obtain/learn change their physic and body. Like now, the fox evolve into a fire type foxes and their fur changes to fiery red.

'It seems true that this type of tree inhibited by beasts. Having a pack of E Rank foxes, their leader may D or C Rank.'

Fire Morning Tree emits continuous heat on its surrounding. For other beast, it is an annoying entity but for fire type beasts, it is a treasure they could keep. Due to constant heat they receive, they could continuously absorb fire elements and may help them breakthrough into the next level.

'Are we going to look for another one?' Chleas asked.

'I think we can handle it,' I said.

'I think too,' Angel replied.

'Okay, formation S?' Chlea asked.

'Yes, I think so.'

'Okay!'.

Then the three of us suddenly sprung into action.

Formation S means the strongest battle form we could have. As well as using high fire power in the beginning.

My two cloths appear besides me and two wings sprout behind my back.

Chlea, who have the lowest defense among our team also use her Butterfly Wings on herself and fly towards our enemy. Her speed is a little slower than mine.

Angel, on the other hand, after receiving Butterfly Wings, use her second skill: Bullet Kick.

Bullet Kick - compress a fire element into the heels and make it explode to suddenly increase speed. Then the next basic attack increase into 120% damage.

Like a fiery line, Angel easily overtake the two of us. In a straight line, she is the fastest among us when using she's using her second skill.
