Magic Circle

"Why… Why is it always the best character who got to suffer? Not a single book I own has a happy ending for my favourite character."

*crying*

"Argh… what time is it…? It's already 1 am. I should go to bed. I need to wake up early, getting drunk and a crying mess for a character… What am I ?"

"Argh… my head hurts… I can't move… I am tired and sleepy."

*silence*

*mumbling in sleep*

*thud*

Anna hits her head on the table still deep in sleep.

*shing*

A magic circle appears on her book she was reading until a few minutes ago with blue and white shining bright light. A man appears from the circle.

"You look really foolish with drool all over your face."

*sighs*

He was a man wearing a robe with his face covered with a hood who carries Anna and walks into the magic circle again and as soon as they walk in the magic circle they disappear and that bright light from the book fades away leaving everything normal as if nothing even happened.

In a white void where there was nothing but only a table and three chairs and a lady in a dress calmly sitting on the chair sipping tea so very peacefully suddenly raises her head as if she sensed or remembered something and turns her head sideways…

*Shing*

The same magic circle appears there emitting the same blue and white shining bright light that appeared on the book Anna was reading from where the man first appeared.

The lady was looking over at that magic circle waiting for something patiently, and the same man appeared with Anna in his hand from that circle with still his face hidden with the hood.

"Welcome back," said the lady with a soft smile.

"Sorry for the wait, I was a bit late but I can't take the risk of travelling through a magic circle while with…"

The man turns his head down towards Anna who was still in hands and continues

"While with her as it is her first time and she is a human from a different realm as it is."

The lady looks at Anna who is still dead asleep and snaps her fingers and a bed appears.

"Let her rest for now and we will talk later now when she is awake."

And the man agreed and laid Anna down on bed.
