CHAPTER 12: A FUN GROUP

CHAPTER 12: A FUN GROUP

Jack rode his bike to Tony's where he worked until the evening. It was an overall easy day, and he was now biking to Eve's place.

Jack locked his bicycle up across the street from Sugar Tats. He wanted to get an actual car or even a motorcycle but until his body was where he wanted it, he decided to ride his bicycle everywhere he could for the extra training.

He walked across the street towards the Tattoo Parlor. Looking at the building Jack thought it was pretty cool. The second floor had a large sign saying Sugar Tats while the windows for the actual shop showed a red head with her shirt off with dice covering her boobs.

Jack walked through the front door not knocking since it was just like any other business. When he walked in he saw two really goth girls and one dude with a mullet talking.

The guy with the mullet was offended "Why can't you just admit I was right?"

The girl with the long black hair and huge boobs groaned "Because you're not!"

The red head with piercings and nice tattoos raised an eyebrow "You two fighting about horror movies again?"

The guy frowned "IT is the scariest monster in horror movies. It literally turns into your greatest fear."

The girl with the long black hair rolled her eyes "The monster only goes after kids in a small town in Maine."

The guy rolled his eyes back "What do you think the scariest monster is then?"

She shrugged "Evil spirits."

The guy shrugged "You're cheating. You can't just say evil spirits you need a specific monster."

The red head chimed in "Oh like the movie It Follows where once you have sex the being goes after you."

Jack walked in being a horror fanatic himself "I mean that movie is alright. It's kind of just like the question where you get extremely rich but a snail can kill you kind of thing. Personally I always thought the more humanoid monsters were the scariest like Michael Myers, Jason, or Freddie Krueger. After all most of the time Evil Spirits can be sent off with some holy water. While IT you can just beat with the power of friendship."

The three turned to look over at him while he was talking with slightly wide eyes. The Red head smiled when she saw Jack "Oh, Hey there."

The guy with the mullet raised an eyebrow "Who the fuck is this guy."

The girl with the black hair hit him in the back of the head "He's a customer obviously… Think for a second Tuuku."

He frowned "Odette that hurt."

The red head sighed "Sorry about them. I'm Grace. How can I help you?"

Jack smiled "Actually… is Eve around here? She asked me to stop by."

Odette looked shocked making an O face. Grace was just as shocked but asked to clarify "You here to see Eve?"

Odette smirked "Since when is Evie inviting boys over."

Grace sighed "Would you please just go tell her Odette."

Odette had a wide smile "Sure thing."

Grace also quickly commented "Don't embarrass her."

Odette whined "But that's my job?"

Tuuku shrugged "Well I'm heading out. Got some work I need to do."

Tuuku left leaning just Grace and Jack inside the Tattoo Parlor. Grace had a bright smiled looking at Jack "So you go to school with Eve? Do you like it? How is she there?"

Jack waved his hands "Woah slow down. She's doing good I think. Schools just school you know it's whatever. Also yes we have a lot of classes together."

Grace nodded very happily listening about how her sister was in school "She doesn't get bullied or anything does she?"

Jack shook his head "Not that I know of. If it happens though I'll take care of it."

Grace gave a smirk "Pretty confident there… sorry I forgot to ask what's your name?"

Jack eyes widened slightly "Oh my bad. I'm Jack nice to meet you Grace."

She smiled "Nice to meet you too. Sorry about all the questions Eve just doesn't talk with me about her schoooling much. Im worried about her but seeing she invited over a friend I definitely feel better."

Grace was about to ask another question but was interrupted when they heard Odette outside "Would you stop messing with your hair and get in there already! You loook fine."

Eve sounded annoyed "Shut up… he'll hear you."

Grace commented as they walked in "Odette stop teasing her."

Odette rolled her eyes "Last time I checked teasing is not telling someone they look good."

Grace shook her head "You're embarrassing her."

Odette rolled her eyes "Nothing to be embarrassed about everyone can see she's hot except her."

Odette then pointed towards Jack "You think she's pretty, right?"

Jack nodded "Yeah she is."

Eve widened her eyes in surprise while Odette started to laugh "See I told you."

Grace rolled her eyes "Oh my God."

Eve got frustrated "Can you please stop talking."

Grace nodded "Okay Eve how about you introduce us to your friend."

Eve smiled "Guys, this is Jack a new friend I made at school."

Odette smirked "A cute friend."

Eve looked over at Odette throwing her hands up in frustration. Causing Odette to shrug "Just saying."

Eve sighed but then smiled "Jack I'm sure you met my sister Grace by now."

Grace gave another bright smile "He was just filling me in on your school life."

Eve then tilted her head to Odette "The one who can't shut up is Odette. My sisters best friend."

Odette smirked "Nice to meet you handsome."

Eve looked at her annoyed while Grace face palmed not wondering how they were best friends for a moment. She then said "Eve how about you take Jack upstairs and show him around."

Eve smiled as she had Jack follow her "Come on Jack I'll give you the full tour."

The duo headed back outside where they then went through the garage. Eve smiled "This is our garage."

Jack looked around "This is really cool I already like the vibe…..Woah…..who's motorcycle is that?"

Eve was a little awkward but had a smile from the praise "I like the vibe too. The motorcycle is my sisters. She still needs to fully restore but she can still ride it."

Jack nodded "That's really cool I'm actually planning to buy a motorcycle soon."

Eve eyes widened in excitement "Really… what kind?"

Jack shrugged "I'm not sure yet I'm still looking around."

Eve smiled "Well next time you look I can help. Here let me show you the rest of the place."

The duo then climbed up the steps out of the garage that led to a terrace where they could either climb more steps to the roof or they could head inside to the second floor. Eve showed him inside.

Eve slightly blushed "Sorry about the mess my sister sleeps in here and she's always busy."

Jack tilted his head "Your sister sleeps on the bed in here?"

Eve nodded and rubbed her arm "Yeah….. I told her she pays the bills so she should have the bedroom but she insisted on me having it. Which I'm very grateful for. I like the privacy."

Jack smiled "Well your sister sounds amazing my step sister would never."

Eve smiled but then looked down sad "Yeah she's amazing. I don't deserve her."

He looked around trying to find something else to talk about "I really like it here. These rock posters on the wall are so cool... No way."

He turned back to Eve after looking at the poster with a Raven on top of a Skull on it that was signed as well "You guys listen to Escape the Fate and you got the poster signed!?"

Eve smiled "Yeah I like their music but that's my sisters favorite band."

Jack nodded "Your sister has got good taste… so can I see your room?"

Eve looked around "Ehh I don't know."

He rolled his eyes "Come on you promised me the full tour."

She giggled "Fine but you better not be disappointed when you see how nerdy it is."

They walked into the room and Jack's eyes widened the only words escaping his mouth were "Cool… There are so many more music posters in here."

Eve looked away shy "Yeah I'm really into music. Hopefully that's not too weird."

Jack shook his head "Not at all. I mean everyone listens to music. You have anime posters too?"

Eve shyly nodded "Yeah… I know a little nerdy."

He shrugged "I like it. I watch anime too… so do you guys ever go to concerts?"

Eve had a smile but a sigh escaped her lips "Not really… I mean I would like to and Grace use to go all the time but since our parents died…. We can't really afford it."

Jack looked around "That's too bad maybe next time a concert is nearby. We can go… I wouldn't mind paying for your ticket."

Eve's eyes slightly widened "Thanks Jack but tickets are really expensive I couldn't ask you to pay for mine especially with how much you have helped me out recently already."

He shrugged "If you say so the offer is always open."

Eve fidgeted around with her hands "You would really want to go with me."

Jack chuckled "Of course Erik and Mia are not big on this stuff and who else would I ask Dexter. The guy probably doesn't even understand the words in the song."

Eve started laughing "He is an idiot. Okay if we get the chance I would be happy to go."

He smiled "So what do you do for fun around here?"

She looked around awkwardly "I have video games."

She pointed to her system as Jack asked "What kind?"

She looked around "Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter mainly."

He smiled "Now that is cool… we should play I love these games."

Eve gained a bit of confidence "Alright but I warn you. I'm pretty good."

He rolled his eyes "We will see. Let me just send a text to my step mom I might be here awhile."

Jack <Hey Debbie I'm at a friends house I might be out a little late tonight>

Debbie <That's fine Sweetie just be safe>

After that the two played video games without realizing the time. Soon after a few more hours went by Jack stood up victorious "Finally I won two in a row."
