1 Bitter ending?

Deep within a castle's heart, a throne room of unmatched grandeur lay. The vast expanse of shimmering golden marble rippled with each footfall, reflecting the majesty within.

Massive, authoritative pillars stretched skyward, smooth and regal as if nature's own creations. The walls draped in opulent gold bore finely etched markings recounting tales of bravery.

Amidst the golden tapestry, gemstones of every shade lay, casting a celestial glow. There were figures along the pillars' edges with backs adorned with celestial wings clad in bold red and black armor, outmatching even seasoned bodybuilders.

Kneeling, a man with cascading blonde hair was bounded by a yellow aura-emitting rope, held a broken bow. Enveloped in a worn golden robe with scorch marks, white wings sprouted from his back, weathered and bent in an unnatural angle.

His gaze were fixed downwards, however, his open eyes reflected on the glistening marble floor which over time became marred by a crimson stream of blood from his own forehead.

Before him, a figure sat on a magestic throne, the All Father went on to declare with bitterness, "Actions have consequences! You've wronged your mothers and me, Eros. I cannot turn a blind eye, not when you've defiled the three virgin sisters!"

Despite his battered state, Eros pleaded, "I did not commit such an act. I'd never seek to defile the three virgins!"

"Enough!" Zeus thundered, striking his fist, the room trembled. Lightning sparked in his eyes as he rose, causing the winged creatures by the pillars to bow in an almost practiced manner as their descent was somewhat synchronized.

Beside Zeus were two figures in robes akin to Eros' but with fewer signs of wear or it having taken a form of beating like Eros's did.

To Zeus's right stood one of the figures with jet-black hair, tall and muscular.Indeed, aside from Eros, who, despite his current state, retained a breathtaking allure, every other being in the room exuded a majestic and incomprehensible beauty.

"Your falsehoods don't deceive me. Because of you, the three virgins suffer, their plight echoing across creation. You've caused an imbalance that demands the core essence of a deity!" Zeus declared, walking towards Eros, each step commanding lightning.

Closing the distance, Zeus's footsteps resounded ominously. Eros, with eyes fixed on the ground, sensed the approaching tempest, and at that moment, Zeus uttered a damning proclamation.

"If I am not the overseer of all, then thy birthright, thy essence, shall be forfeit..." Zeus proclaimed, hand rising, gathering a pulsing blue energy.

Moments later, a spear of pure blue energy materialized in Zeus's grasp. The surroundings shifted, crackling with an aura threatening to rend beings asunder.

"All father! Please, reconsider! I am innocent. Throughout my existence, I've championed love and unity. Why would I transgress now?" Eros pleaded, desperation etched in every word.

"That is a question that vexes even me. Regardless, I have eternity to ponder your deeds and mourn the grave mistake you embody!" Zeus retorted, finalizing the spear with determination.

"As long as your existence remains a concept, the imbalance will taunt us. That, I cannot allow!" Zeus reprimanded.

"You can't do this. You cannot get rid of me!!!" Eros said in a hysterical manner.

"I am a god! I am the god of love, an embodiment of creation's core. My demise will bring more instability!! Brothers, why stand there and do nothing?!!" Eros searched the scene, eyes locked on the two figures by Zeus.

"Deimos?!! Phobos?!!" He called out.

"Say something!!" Eros demanded, looking at the two figures.

Stepping forward was one of the two figures, Deimos, twin gods of chaos and fright.

"Little brother, I cannot save you this time. I feared your shenanigans would get you in trouble. Perhaps, I could have done better. But with our new sibling imminent, I shall amend my mistake!" Deimos said guilt-ridden, resting a hand atop Eros' head, whispering.

"Perhaps it is clear now, love doesn't conquer all, does it?" Deimos pulled back, walking back to his brother's side, Phobos.

However, feeling the power surging through Zeus's spear, Eros knew he had bigger worries.

"All father, hear me this once, please!!" Eros turned to plead again, but Zeus wasn't listening.

"By thunder's roar and lightning's rending..." Zeus began, spear trembling with sparks flying haphazardly.

"No!! All father, do not do this to me!!" Eros pleaded, but Zeus continued either way, paying no mind to Eros.

"I cast this curse, unyielding, unbending!..." Zeus spoke with authority, more power channeled.

"Please, brothers, do something!!" Eros looked at Phobos and Deimos, pleading to be rescued.

"No godly realm, no heavenly tending, to mortality, your soul's descending. A bitter fate, no chance of transcending, in earthly trials, your days unending!" In a blinding motion, Zeus's spear struck, a shockwave resonating with dreadful power. Eros's mouth spread wide open, releasing a deafening scream that began to shake the foundation of the castle.

His vibrant eyes erupted into a furious blaze. His body convulsed, every fiber seemingly trembling. A red energy began to spill from Eros into the spear. His once perfect form began to lose its allure. In mere seconds, his skin lost its luster, replaced by an ashen pallor.

Throughout the grim transformation Eros underwent, Zeus's gaze remained locked on Eros, resignation and remorse in his eyes. He spoke with finality, a bitter acceptance.

"So bear this curse, its weight unending, for actions dire, no soul's defending. In mortal coil, your being blending. You shall suffer the bitter ending!"

With determination, Zeus withdrew his spear. The room bore witness to the fading light of a god, altering Eros's existence. As Zeus made his way back to the imposing throne, his command rang with unyielding finality.

"Cast your brother into the abyss!"

The twin gods, Deimos and Phobos, nodded solemnly, expressions betraying no dissent. Deimos retrieved Eros's shattered bow, a poignant token. Phobos lifted Eros's frail form with respectful gentleness, conveying a silent farewell.
