"Little girl, you've worked so hard." The Old Madam sighed and patted Guan Tong's hand. 

"Grandmother, it's not that difficult. This is what I should be doing anyway. I'm married to Lu Han. I'll be his wife for the rest of my life. I have to take care of him." Guan Tong held the Old Madam's hand. 

Lying on the bed, Lu Han felt a sense of happiness in his heart when he heard Guan Tong's words. He could not wait to get up and hug Guan Tong and kiss her. Not only that his heart was beating, something happened too. The Old Madam noticed something as she and Guan Tong were talking at that moment.

"Look, did Lu Han's finger move just now?" Guan Tong was surprised. Perhaps, Lu Han couldn't hold his excitement anymore. Maybe he was happy that he saw Qiao Ran?

"Quick, quick! Get Doctor Han over here now!" Old Madam yelled out. Lu Han was quite annoyed as he had almost exposed himself.

"Yes, Old Madam." Uncle Tang quickly brought Doctor Han inside.

"Doctor Han, quick! His finger moved just now." Old Madam quickly told the doctor what had happened. When they saw Doctor Han's examination, everyone's hearts were in their throats. But the reason for their excitement was different from each other.

"How is he?" Old Madam asked nervously.

"Young Master's finger moving is an obvious sign of improvement." Doctor Han stated. Old Madam was beaming with joy, and tears filled her eyes. 

"Good. That's very good…" As long as there's a chance, Old Madam would've given up anything for her grandson to wake up again.

"Madam, you can also take Young Master out for a walk more often to improve the possibility of him regaining his consciousness," Doctor Han said to Guan Tong, and she was stunned. Was this Lu Han's idea? For her to take him out for a walk more often?

"Yes, then I'll take him out for a walk every day." Guan Tong promised. She finally heaved a sigh of relief after sending everyone away with incredible difficulty.

"What were you thinking? All that effort and hard work just to be exposed like that?" Guan Tong was puzzled. She suspected that Lu Han must've been so excited to see Qiao Ran that he almost blew his plan.

"Was Qiao Ran the woman of your dreams?" Guan Tong suddenly felt that it was a mistake to quarrel with Qiao Ran. Lu Han probably almost blew his cover because of his anger that she was fighting with that woman.

"Stop talking nonsense." Lu Han immediately refuted Guan Tong. He didn't understand where she got that idea from and couldn't bear her irrational thoughts anymore. 

However, Guan Tong refused to believe that that wasn't the case. The only difference today was that Qiao Ran had come to visit. It seemed that the two of them were in love, but Guan Tong was in their way.

"Don't worry. I won't get in between you and Qiao Ran." Guan Tong tried to reassure. Lu Han was facepalming himself with confusion. He didn't understand Guan Tong's meaning by getting between him and Qiao Ran.

"I was just establishing my position. After all, I'm still your wife." Guan Tong explained.

"You..." Lu Han was about to speak when he heard someone knocking on the door.

"Young Master. Madam. The Lin family has sent a letter. They say that Old Madam Lin is sick, and they want Madam to go back." Uncle Tang said. The news tightened Guan Tong's heart. What happened to her grandmother? On the other hand, Lu Han had already found out Guan Tong's identity, so he naturally knew how much her grandmother meant to Guan Tong.

"We'll leave for the Lin family tomorrow." Lu Han replied.

"Go back to the Lin family?" Guan Tong was puzzled.

"Isn't Old Madam Lin sick?" Lu Han saw Guan Tong's eager eyes and coughed a few times unnaturally. Even Uncle Tang could see that Lu Han was uncomfortable.

"Thank you." Guan Tong felt grateful and she wanted to thank Lu Han.

"Cough! Cough!" Lu Han used his fist to cover his mouth but still showed signs that he was in a good mood.

"Who does that ugly woman think she is? How dare she talk to me like that?" When she returned to the chamber, Qiao Ran flew into a rage and threw a clutter of things onto the floor.

"Who should we blame then? Isn't it yourself for being so incompetent?" Liu Juan sneered at the corner of Qiao Ran's chamber.

"Aunty, how could you say that to me? You were supposed to help me!" Qiao Ran tugged on Liu Juan's hand and said deviously.

"Of course, I will help you, but you have to do your best. The Old Madam will be back in a few days. Whether you can continue your stay here or not depends on your ability." Liu Juan replied.

"Aunty, I want to work hard, but that ugly woman is too much of an eyesore. Should we..." Qiao Ran hated Guan Tong to the bone.

"Give up on that idea for now. Didn't you see how the Old Madam was protecting that ugly girl today?" Liu Juan ended Qiao Ran's idea. Of course, Qiao Ran saw it too. But she was still unwilling to give up.

"Then what should we do?" Qiao Ran gritted her teeth.

"All we can do now is wait, and you have to try your best to creep into Lu Han's life." By then, Qiao Ran would become the most potent weapon of Liu Juan.

"What? Go back to the Lin Family?" The Old Madam frowned. She wasn't sure that Lu Han would be able to travel.

"Old Madam, you don't have to worry. By going outside, we can improve Lu Han's health conditions." Doctor Han said.

"Then you have to follow Han'er closely." The Old Madam said with wariness in her facial expression. Doctor Han had always been loyal to the Lu family, so he carefully followed Old Madam's instructions.

"Old Madam, please rest assured." Doctor Han knew what was going on, so Lu Han's wellbeing wasn't his most significant concern.

"Alright then. In that case, let's go inside now." the Old Madam said to Liu Juan. Liu Juan panicked when she heard the Old Madam's words. She could go back in by herself, but what about Qiao Ran?
