Chapter 2

　　The next morning, she felt tired and woke up beside this man still sleeping next to her.

　　Everything was like a dream, but so real.

　　All things seemed to remind her that it was not a dream.

　　She felt panicked and put on the wrinkled skirt that was thrown on the floor last night.

　　When she dressed herself, she heard footsteps coming from outside, and finally, the closed door was suddenly opened.

　　"Elena, you are so shameless" Elena's dad came in and shouted at her.

　　Elena stood by the bed in a trance. And the man who was sleeping languidly opened his eyes sternly.

　　Elena was thrown into the most desperate situation overnight. Both her fiance and sister betrayed her, and together they gave her to a man she didn't love at all, and finally destroyed her!

　　That was all they wanted, making her marry this disabled man!

　　Logan Brown, the man who stunned everyone in H city. Although he was handsome and rich, no one wanted to marry him because of an accident two years ago

　　caused his injury and he had to sit in a wheelchair for the rest of his life.

　　Their dad asked Emma to marry Logan for his precarious company in exchange for working capital!

　　But he never expected that things would go on like this...

　　Without listening to her, Elena's father raised his hand and slapped her, "Our family will never admit a daughter like you! That's the man your sister is about to marry. How can you be so shameless as to do this..”

　　Elena lowered her eyes and remained silent, with a sarcastic smile on her face.

　　"Elena, are you trying to get back at Jeremy because he wants to break off your engagement?" Emma pretended to look pathetic and said, not forgetting to look at Logan in pain.

　　Now it seemed that Elena was the shameless one, and Emma, on the other hand, was the victim and was innocent.

　　"Emma, do you have the guts to repeat what you said last night?" Elena's cheek was red and swollen, but she was still smiling. She looked at Emma with her cold eyes. Emma was shocked since she had never seen Elena acting like this.

　　Emma's eyes welled up with tears as she said, "Elena, what are you talking about? You lured me into your room last night and forced me to drink the juice. After that, I passed out.”

　　"Elena!"

　　"Now, immediately kneel to apologize to Emma, and also, reflect on what you have done," yelled a very enraged Elena's father.

　　"Why?" Elena snarled, her eyes welling with tears. It was meant to be her who suffered.

　　"You entered without paying attention to me and found me guilty! Why didn't you attempt to ascertain what went wrong?"

　　"How dare you talk back to me!" Elena's father clenched his jaw and desired to give her another slap. The man who had been silent next to him suddenly yelled, "Enough!"

　　With the quilt covering him, he was lounging on the bed and appeared somewhat lethargic.

　　Still, the icy air surrounding him made him seem unapproachable.

　　With icy eyes, he hurriedly dialed a number and said, "Send me some clothes."

　　Elena's father respectfully eyed Logan and said, "Elena is to blame for all of this. She..."

　　Elena was standing erect and fearless when Logan's black eyes met hers, but she was clearly afraid and angry because her hands were clenched into fists.

　　"Get out!" With a quiet voice, he said.

　　Emma's and Elena's father exchanged immobile glances.

　　With a narrowed gaze, Logan said, "I don't want to repeat it."

　　Elena's dad was unsure. He pulled Emma out while waiting for Logan's assistance, thinking about his company.

　　Elena followed her father out, her lips pursed.

　　Emma sat aside in tears, and there was utter silence in the living room as Elena's father embraced her tightly. Jeremy, too, gave her a disappointed expression.

　　Who would even think Emma was to blame and guilty if she hadn't known that Emma had plotted with Jeremy!

　　Emma brushed away her tears and added, "It's not your fault, Dad. Perhaps she loved Logan, or perhaps she was just heartbroken because Jeremy had broken up with her. I may go and let her marry him if she does." Regarding this, she turned to face her father and said, "They've already had sex. I don't think Logan will turn her down.”

　　Mason Bush, their father, heard Emma and glanced at Elena.

　　Elena clenched her teeth, feeling uneasy. "I refuse to wed him! I had nothing to do with yesterday night's events. Emma was the one who did it."

　　"Enough!" Emma cried to stop her, tears welling up in her eyes, "Elena, I'm your sister! It was you who poisoned me and hatched a plot with Logan. I won't hold it against you, but why are you still blaming me for doing this?

　　"Elena, since what's done is done, now you have to marry Logan.” she whispered to her as she inched her way into the corner.

　　“Anyway, what's the problem? While one of you is handicapped, the other is shameless. You and I are the ideal pair.”

　　"Emma!" When Elena saw her repulsive expression and realized what they had done, she became extremely enraged.

　　"Ah!" Emma screamed before Elena could get close to her, as though Elena had shoved her and she had fallen to the ground.

　　"Elena, you've crossed a line! Jeremy was enraged and compelled to stand up for Emma.

　　How could they act like this in her presence?

　　"Logan." Suddenly, from behind them, Mason said in an ingratiating tone.

　　Elena spun to face him and saw that Logan was seated in the wheelchair, looking as icy as if no one should ever approach him.

　　For some reason, Elena believed this man looked like her. His fate also treated him poorly. Despite having everything, he nearly lost his life in an accident.

　　Logan looked at her as she was reflecting and said, "Come with me."

　　Logan was conversing with Elena. Mason nudged her and made hints that she ought to accompany him, even if at first she wanted to turn him down.

　　"OK!" Gritting her teeth, she inhaled deeply and decided that remaining with Logan was preferable to a group of hypocrites!

　　Pushing his wheelchair, she went outside. Nobody approached to stop her.

　　She noticed the man who had come to pick up Logan was already standing outside the door after she had left the Bush family. Subconsciously, Elena released her hands, and Logan's aide said, "Mr. Brown, please."

　　Logan took a seat inside. Observing Elena motionless in this spot, he said, "We're not done yet."

　　Elena jumped in the car as soon as he was done speaking.

　　She felt a little uneasy in the small room, and as she closed her eyes, the scene from the previous night returned.

　　Logan's warm touch seemed to be clinging to her body.

　　"Don't worry, You can pretend that nothing happened last night, and Emma will still be your bride."

　　Emma had no desire to wed Logan. However, Elena refused to grant her wish.

　　"Are you trying to walk away after we had sex?" Logan scowled.

　　"I.. Elena felt irritated and embarrassed. She didn't hold him responsible for last night's events. Even though she knew he was innocent, she wasn't prepared for him to speak in such a manner!

　　He was calm, but she felt utterly embarrassed. "I will be in charge of you.I'll make things right, even if this was an error."

　　"Are you crazy? We don't even love each other," she said, turning to face him with amazement. “Do you intend to wed me?"

　　“ You and Emma are my favorites.” Logan gave her a seductive glance, giving the impression that he would not let her go easy.

　　She was, at least, more interesting than he had anticipated.

　　But Elena responded, as if she had heard a hilarious joke: "Mr. Brown, I don't think someone like you will love me, and I have no reason to marry you!"

　　"Well, it's okay if you don't say that you gave up your virginity to me.” Logan grinned.

　　She was enraged and said, "You.. Shame on you!"

　　“I'm going to give you some time to reflect, Miss Bush. Whether or not you wish to marry me is entirely up to you.There's no need to answer me now," he said with narrowed eyes. “I'll give you ample time to think it over.”

　　"You must be daydreaming!" Elena said, gritting her teeth as she glanced at him. “I have told you that I wouldn't wed you.”
