244 Training

Jason snapped his eyes open. He looked around and groaned as he sort of rolled off his bed.

Boops was shouting into his head

'RISE AND SHINE JAY JAY'

As Jason tried to motivate himself to get out of bed.

"ugh what day is it Boops," Jason said as he rolled back into his bed and covered himself with the blanket.

Boops paused and turned on a switch in Jason's headspace.

'ITS WEDNESDAY MY DOOD"

And after that Boops let out a weird animalistic scream. Jason sat up and tried to regain his focus from the ringing in his head.

He sat on the edge of the bed and looked out of the window. He ran through the events in his head as he stared out into the city landscape. He cringed as he thought about the new problems that were on his hands.

A mysterious organization, who had a grudge against Perseus and the sliver wings guild. The player base that was slowly integrating into the world of WOW. The missions that lady Megra had given him.

These were the first challenges he got after he emerged from the rose knight training.

He was finally encountering the real stuff of the game world. Jason rubbed his hands together to warn himself up as he looked out of the window. The fall season was starting to dissipate and winter could be seen from the cold front to the chilly wind that could be felt even in the apartment.

Jason could even see some roofs covered in frost as he looked over the city landscape.

It was funny almost, the weather in the world of WOW was still in spring/summer and since he had spent so much time in game he didn't even notice that the real world's weather had changed.

Jason heard the impatient sound of feet running against the carpet floor. Perseus slammed open the door and looked at Jason with a mischievous grin on his face.

"where's the food?"

He said while wiping the drool off his face and looking at Jason with an expectant look in his eyes.

Jason made eye contact with Perseus and the two exchanged an unspoken conversation that only siblings could do. Of course they were not real "siblings" and it was just something that they used as a coverup. But they all treated each other as real brothers as time passed.

Especially Perseus who was now dragging the tired Jason over to the kitchen to make him and his brother some food.

Arjuna saw that Jason was drowsily taking ingredients out of the container, and walked over to help prepare the food. Perseus on the other hand after seeing Jason walk around like he was high on something. Let a evil grin pass his face. He promptly walked over to the faucet and let the cold water run over his hands. Once he made sure that his hand was extremely wet and soaking he ran at Jason screaming out

"WAKEY WAKEY JASONNNNNNNNN"

And saying that Perseus slapped his cold wet hand onto Jason's exposed neck. Jason let out a louder scream then when he got stabbed by the bandit leader and as he rose let out his scream a mini blast emanated from him, moving the silverware slightly and lifting up the twins hair ever so gently.

Jason turned around wide awake now and looked at Perseus with a bit of fury in his eyes.

Perseus was desperately trying not to laugh as he looked back at Jason.

Jason's eyebrows twitched in anger as he turned around to go back to cooking.

"I'm cutting your portion in half" he said as he fired up some eggs.

Jason nodded to himself smugly as Perseus let out a cry that reverberated with the sorrow and loss he felt at that moment.

After a bit Perseus went over to the living room defeated and collapsed on the couch, his eyes void of emotion.

Arjuna shook his head and delicately spun around Jason to add a bit of garnish to the eggs.

"so master" he said as he handed Jason 3 plates to plate the eggs on

"i heard you and Perseus ran into trouble yesterday"

Jason sighed and replied as he carefully cut the omelets into 3 even pieces and put them onto each plate.

"yeah, things are pretty chaotic right now, we have an enemy that i don't even know any information about and that was literally on the first day that i got to the guild, like the plan was supposed to have us stay quiet for a bit but now baam we have an enemy."

Arjuna nodded at Jason's rant while he took a fork and carefully cut on of the plates helping of eggs in half. Perseus let out a sad yell almost like as if his hopes and dreams had been crushed with that one movement.

It soon changed into an angered yell as Arjuna carefully placed the cut portion of the eggs onto the plate that Perseus always ate out of a plate that had a beautiful painting of a wide open landscape with a blue sky a grassy plain and a forest on the corner with golden and red flowers dotted all over the place.

"so master," Arjuna said right after turning back to Perseus and letting out the smuggest grin ever known to man

"what are you planning to do with this new enemy?"

Jason sighed and passed the plates to Arjuna to take to the table.

"i really don't know, for now i guess we will take out all of the bandits in the forest since it seems that Perseus and the silver wings guild haven't taken them all out yet"

Arjuna cocked his head in confusion as he grabbed the forks.

"who is going to take out the bandits? you and Perseus?"

Jason just nodded as he put the plate of sausages he had finished before onto the plate.

Arjuna said to Jason inquisitively as he sat down

"why don't you just use players and the guild members?"

Arjuna plunged his fork into a sausage and took a bit bite out of it as he continued his explanation.

"as we all know the players are all around level 15 and above and from what Perseus has told me, the levels of the regular bandits that you fought at first was around 20-25. Which means..."

Boops finished the sentence Arjuna was saying

'players can take down the bandits if they are in groups, i think that can work, but we need an incentive to do it, like a quest or something, maybe from the adventures guild? wait a second'

Perseus shouted out with a stuffed mouth.

"we can send somebody like Natalie to register a quest in the adventures guild to eliminate the bandits,oh! and when we recruit any player into our guild we can just give them a test like take down 20 bandits or something in the forest."

Jason pointed at Perseus and grinned

"yes, I like that idea"

Perseus happily looked up and scratched the back of his head.

"does that mean i get more foo...

"no"

Perseus looked at Jason with a fuming expression as he sneakily stabbed his fork into Arjuna's sausage without him noticing and quickly ate it in a big gulp.

Jason started to think as Arjuna looked back down at his plate and slowly counted the number of sausages he had.

It would seem the silver wing guild would start to display itself, i mean they didn't really have any player guild member so it would be nice if they started to have some grindy people like Jason. But then again players meant that they were humans which usually had some downsides. Thankfully Jason had the loyalty subsystem so he could tell if they had any intentions of doing anything dirty.

Jason paused his thoughts to see Arjuna standing up holding Perseus up by the collar. He then went back into thought.

Jason guessed that he was going to put some time into the silver wing guild, Of course he would put most of the load on Perseus while he sought more opportunities, but for now, he would make sure the silver wings guild didn't fall into anyone's hands or even get demolished by this "mysterious organization" they faced.

Jason looked up again to see Arjuna looking like he was about to yeet Perseus out of the window and started to eat his food.

He let his head fall down ever so slight as he thought about the new circumstances that he was about to meet in the next few days.

He raised his head, ignoring the panicked yells of Perseus as Arjuna approached him menacingly with a spoon while Perseus desperately backed up.

Jason grinned and clenched his fist. Everything was going to be different, but he was sure it was going to be fun. Soon, perhaps he could have players by his side, real world friend instead of just npcs.

After all he did have the subordination system.
