The next day Steve was in his office working when his wife called him on the phone.

"Hey beautiful," he said into the phone when they got connected. "What's up, have your aunties arrived?" Steve asked her. He had told her to call him when they arrived, should in case things got out of hand so he could come to help her out.

"Yes they have, and they've also left, thankfully Adebayo was here with me, he helped me in handling them. He postponed his traveling to Abeokuta so he could come," Joan said.

"Oh, that's so nice of him. Babe, I'm truly sorry that I couldn't be there to help," Steve apologized to her. 

When she told him that her aunties would be coming over to the company to constitute a nuisance, he wanted to be there with her, but he also had an important meeting he needed to attend with the investors of his father's company. So he couldn't be there with her.

"It's okay, I understand. How did your meeting go?" Joan asked him.
