Chapter 3: Sleepover Night

Their walk to the dormitory was quick, only a few short conversations here and there.

The boy's dormitory only had three stories, but it was vast.

Also, students who were deemed to be exceptional stay at the Polaris Dormitory. They had free food, lounge, and even a personal butler each. They also have an indoor pool.

However, the best thing about Polaris Dormitory also have their own comfort rooms in every student's room, the normal dormitory doesn't. Students have to share with each other, and it only have a few shower sets and bathrooms.

The dormitory Yutarou and Keijirou were staying in the normal one, where most students were staying.

"Woah!" Keijirou gasped as soon as they reached the dormitory. "It's way larger than I thought it would be." His mouth agape.

"Isn't it?" Yutarou side eyed Keijirou, pushing his jaw close.

"I can't wait! Let's go, Yamaguchi—kun!" Keijirou said, running . Yutarou chuckled and followed him behind.

'He doesn't even know the way in.'

He lost him.

Yutarou did lost Keijirou. He didn't know where he went.

He looked around and heard a voice. He ran towards it and Keijirou was being hovered by an older boy.

"Hey. You a first year?" He asked him with an intimidating tone.

"Second, actually..." Keijirou whispered, his hands trembling.

"Senpai." Yutarou called out.

"Huh? Who are you?" The older boy asked.

"Yamaguchi Yutarou and you're stalling my friend." Yutarou said with a daring voice.

"Well then, Yamaguchi, tell your little friend over here to watch where he's going." The upperclassman said.

Yutarou could've sworn that he saw Keijirou's face darken.

"Takahashi—kun." He elbowed the blue haired boy.

"It's alright." Keijirou forced a smile. "It was my fault. I'm sorry, senpai." He bowed.

"Hmmp. As long as you know." The upperclassman said, walking away.

"Are you okay? He didn't hurt you, did he?" Yutarou consulted him, looking for bruises.

"No, he didn't. Also, you came just in time, Yamaguchi—kun." Keijirou informed.

Yutarou was screaming on the inside. 'You better stay alive, my life is on the line here!'

Yutarou sighed, relief flowing over him. "Is that so? Good thing, huh?"

"Anyway! Let's forget about that. Lead the way. I already wanna see my room. This is the first time I'll be staying alone. I mean, not alone, just away from my parents." Keijirou changed the topic.

"Yeah, I get it. It'll get lonely and nostalgic sometimes, but it's going to be okay. Besides, you have me." Yutarou said and Keijirou was nodding aggressively.

They started walking side by side.

"You're right, Yamaguchi—kun. You're really good at cheering me up." Keijirou complimented the teal haired boy.

"Really? I think it's the first time I cheered you up." Yutarou responded with a hint of hesitation.

"You became my first friend in this academy. It's better than any cheering up." Keijirou reminded him.

"That's great to hear." The corners of Yutarou's lips curved upwards.

It was also his first time having a friend, both here and his past life.

The both of them walked to their rooms.

Takahashi invited Yutarou to his room, since it's his first time moving in.

He was having trouble on how to open the door, Yutarou offered help but Keijirou declined. He said if he doesn't learn on how to open a door, when will he?

While Keijirou was busy finding out on how to open the door, Yutarou clicked the blue button then the heart icon.

Sparkles stared to appear on anywhere he place his hand.

He, then, clicked Keijirou who was being highlighted by the system.

Even when he was far away, Yutarou didn't have to physically touch him. The system immediately responded to

A tiny pop up appeared on the uper left side corner.

It said:

[Takahashi Keijirou]

[Affection Levels]

Just below Keijirou's was a pop up of Yamaguchi Yutarou's.

[Characters]

Yutarou's pop up had his level number in the side, then his name.

[(3) Yamaguchi Yutarou]

[Affection Level of <Takahashi Keijirou> towards <Yamaguchi Yutarou> has increased]

[Affection Level — 3]

A tiny heart was almost filled with pink liquid with a number three on it.

Yutarou was shocked by this development. It was already at three when they only met today.

[This chatacter acknowledges <Yamaguchi Yutarou> as a friend.]

[To gain more affection, you may start out by completing the sub—quests of the chosen mission.]

Yutarou scrolled down and it was the end.

[No more characters left to show.]

Yutarou was stunned by the fact that Keijirou didn't recognize any other characters as friends, but he immediately considered him as one.

[Click to notify user.]

Yutarou turned on the notifications. That way, he'll know what to do in order to raise he MC's affection level

Yutarou felt a weird but warm feeling in his heart that made him smile.

"Finally!" Yutarou flinched at Keijirou's sudden outburst. "Oh, did I startle you? Sorry." He shook his hands in the air.

"It's okay." Yutarou reassured.

"Umm... Do you want to, uhh, come in? My parents sent me off with lots groceries, so I have lots of snacks here." Keijirou asked him, no, it was more if an invitation.

"Uh, sure. Why not? Shall we celebrate your first day here?" Yutarou thought it would be a benefit for him.

"Yes! I'd love that!" Keijirou agreed with Yutarou's statement. "I don't have alcohol, though." He added.

"We're minors, anyway." Yutarou remarked.

"That's true. I can't wait until I'm legal. I really want to taste different types of alcohol. You know, the one they serve in clubs." Keijirou stated, letting out a huff.

Yutarou, then, made a conclusion.

Takahashi Keijirou was indeed a shy person but was daring enough to think of such things like clubbing.

The moment Yutarou entered his room, he thought of one thing: organized.

Keijirou's parents were the one of arranged it for him, even though, their son hadn't even seen his dorm or room yet.

"That's a cool dream. Call me up sometime." Yutarou told him.

"Sure do." Keijirou replied with such enthusiasm.

"Anyway. I only have some orange and strawberry juice here. Which one do you like best? Also, I have lots of biscuits from random stores." Keijirou stated.

"That's hilarious." Yutarou commented which made Keijirou snorted. "Oh, and a strawberry would be fine." Yutarou informed him.

"Yep. They bought anything that was eye pleasing. I don't even think boys our age find these appealing." Keijirou shook his head.

"Well, yeah, probably. But, the girls would probably like it though." Yutarou said.

Keijirou displayed apathy about the topic. "You're right. There are girls who prefer cute and shiny things."

"Here we go." Keijirou settled down on a cushion, placing a plate filled with different types of biscuits, ones with fillings, and ones that were plain. He also place a strawberry juice in front of Yutarou and an orange in front of him.

"Thanks." Keijirou nodded at Yutarou's gratitude, opening the can.

"So, tell me, Yamaguchi—kun. Where are you from?" Keijirou interrogated him.

'I don't even know.'

He really didn't. His character profile didn't mention any of his address and the character he was reincarnated into was a complete nobody no one knew of, not even him.

"Uh..." He had no other excuse than saying that he doesn't like his home.

"Oh! If you're uncomfortable to say so, it's fine, as well." Keijirou offered.

Yutarou almost let out a loud sigh. "Yeah, I... I think I'll just tell you later on."

"Sure thing." Keijirou smiled.

Hours went by like minutes.

Yutarou stood up. "I have to go, we still have class tomorrow." Keijirou had also stood up, holding Yutarou's hand.

"Can't you sleep here tonight? You just live nextdoor, anyway." Keijirou pleaded.

"Uhh..."

"Pretty please." Keijirou flashed out his puppy eyes, letting go of Yutarou's hand.

Yutarou wasn't able to decline and accepted his offer. "Alright, alright."

"Yay! My first ever sleepover." Keijirou hopped on the spot.

"Have you never been in a sleepover before?" Yutarou asked.

"No. I'm a sheltered type of person, if you know what I mean?" Keijirou pouted.

And he was right.

MC was programmed to be that one pure and innocent character, that way, they would be willing to help any of the target characters in the Yandere Host Club.

"Yeah..." Yutarou brushed his neck with his hand.

"Here!" Keijirou handed over a bunch of things to him.

"These are...?" Yutarou was shocked that Keijirou got ready in just a few seconds.

"Clothes!" Keijirou chuckled. "Uh, I came prepared. You know, just in case."

"Thanks, Takahashi—kun. It would be a fan companion in a camp."

"Really? I've never gone to camping, even if it's school mandatory."

'That's sheltered, alright.'

"You can sleep on my bed." Keijirou told him.

"What? No, no. This is your room, you should sleep on your bed. I can just use a futon or something." Yutarou shook his head, declining.

"Is that okay with you?" Keijirou consulted, biting his lip.

"Yeah, for sure."

"Well, if you say so. Tell me if you're uncomfortable whatsoever, okay." Keijirou smiled.

"I will."

Keijirou, then, handed a futon over to Yutarou.

He spread it over the floor, with some pillows and a blanket.

"So, good night, I guess." Keijirou greeted him, before covering himself with the blanket.

"Night." Yutarou had also covered himself with hid blanket.

[Invited over to MC's room for the first time — 500 EXP]

[Sleepover with MC for the first time — 1000]

[250 coins]

Yutarou's level didn't increase, although it's almost ready to get to level four.

'Coins? Coins are mostly for shops. Why don't I have that component yet?'

Yutarou looked over to Keijirou, he was in deep sleep. He, then, turned sidewards, and whispered, "system help."

[Greetings, user.]

[How may we help you?]

A screen popped up with a google assistant microphone.

Every time Yutarou speak, sound waves moved.

"Where is the shop?" He inquired.

[Shop can only used by users with the level of 25 or above.]

'What?!'

"Are you allowed to spoil about its contents?" He consulted, hoping for a good result.

[Yes, but only for normal and epic items. Legendary and mythic are kept secret to low level users.]

"Do the shop have healing potions? Or weapons?" He asked.

[The shop may manifest healing potions and weapons, yes.]

"Great! Thanks." Yutarou said.

The sound waves stopped reacting and the screen disappeared.

Yutarou had one thought on his mind that night, he needed to level up in order to survive the game he's stuck in.
