[(6) Yamaguchi Yutarou — 7]

[Suzuki Kazuya acknowledges you as his ally.]

'Ally...? What now?' Yut 'Why is his affection level so high?! What did I even do?'

Yutarou had swiped out all of the pop ups and closed the system.

Yutarou understood why Izumi would be affectionate towards him. That was what MC did, he saved him once, as well.

Kazuya, however, even if he is indeed a free—spirited type of character, he also have his own beliefs.

One of those is not letting himself get chained down.

And, as far as Yutarou knows, he had never displayed any type of acknowledgement towards freedom whatsoever, publicly.

Kazuya, in the game, had admired MC. Just like Keijirou, the current MC, is flexible and ready to try anything that pique his interest.

Yutarou was in deep thought until people yelling took him back to reality.

"The lights are too bright and it's not even! Those designs are not even centered!" Izumi scolded.

"Yeah, Akamatsu—kun is right." Akira agreed, observing the place.

"Wait a minute." Izumi chimed.

"What he doing with that camera?" Kazuya asked the others.

Izumi looked through the lense, he had turned on the grid, and everything, and he meant, everything was out of place. The lighting was too bright; he was not even able to capture of the angles.

'This room is... Imperfect. Horribly imperfect!' Izumi wanted to scream and shout. He hated human interaction, but he hated Imperfection most of all.

"There's almost five or six of you, what's with this mess?" Izumi pointed out. "How could even one person create this much disarray!? It's unsightly!" He yelled. He had never seen such an atrocious room before.

"Listen here, brat. You had only entered this club and you're already bitching about it!" Kazuya exclaimed.

"That's because this club is hideous! Horribly hideous!" Izumi criticized, once again.

"Let's listen to his perspective, first, senpai. He's a photographer, after all. I'm sure he knows what's he's talking about." Kenji spoke, his eyes glowing. A benign smile plastered on his face.

'Geez... Kenji must be furious, right now. Look at those eyes! I should just help Hiroshi over there. It's safer with him for now.'

"I'll help you, senpai." Yutarou offered.

"Okay." Hiroshi accepted. Yutarou was the one mixing the ingredients in the bowl while Hiroshi was the one who worked with the microwave.

"Aren't you Nakamura?" Izumi inquired Kenji.

"Now, now. Don't forget the honorifics. We don't know each other personally, after all." Kenji reminded.

"Well, whatever. Aren't you supposed to be an artist? What's with this ugliness?!" Izumi scolded, shouting.

"It's called abstract art. Although, you wouldn't know anything about that. You're a photographer and I get that you're ignorant towards REAL art. But, can you stop insulting me or my artwork? I'd rather have you criticize it then give insights on how to better it. Stop being to over critical. It's infuriating!" Kenji yelled back, his golden eyes almost a ray of light. Izumi's violet eyes had stated glowing, as well.

Yutarou inhaled sharply, then let out a loud sigh. He could not let this go on. He could in the making.

"Now, now everyone. Let's not fight, shall we? We should work together. As a team. We're a club, after all." Yutarou spoke, forcing a smile.

"Yes, Yamaguchi—sama." Izumi immediately said.

"E—eh...?" Yutarou's smiled twitched.

"Two faced bitch." Kenji muttered to Izumi.

The brown haired boy glared at him. "You're one to talk, pinkie."

Yutarou noticed the tension and changed the subject. "Is everything settled, now? We won't be able to finish renovating at this point." He said.

"I agree with Yamaguchi—senpai. Let's start working, now. Move it." Kenji nodded and everyone started working again.

For the most part, Kiko and Koko were the ones who had done lots of things, the other butlers, as well.

"Ugh...!" Kazuya groaned, glaring daggers at Kenji.

"Are you alright, Suzuki—senpai?" Yutarou asked, hoping his anger would subside.

'Please don't burn us all to death.' Yutarou pleaded in his head.

Kazuya's eyes softened and gave Yutarou a sweet smile. "Yes, I am. Don't worry about it, Yuu—chan." He assured.

"Okay..." Yutarou nodded. How was he not to be worried. This pyromaniac despised being told what to do.

"Let's get to work, let's clean all these dirt and dust." Kazuya told Yutarou, giving him one of the two brooms he was holding.

"Yes." Yutarou held the broom's handle and started sweeping the floor. "Senpai, where are the dustpans?"

"Oh... We forget about that one." "How about we get them, right now? Everyone's busy, you see."

'Are these my last moments?' Yutarou wanted to cry, at least, one, single year out.

"If you say so, senpai. Shall we?" The teal haired boy didn't want to oppose. Even if Kazuya won't get him today, there would always be a tomorrow.

"Yuu—chan..."

"Uh, yes?"

"What do you think about freedom?" Kazuya consulted.

This took Yutarou by surprise. Why would this yandere ask him a sensitive and important question? He did not know nor understand. But, he was aware that he needed to be cautious on what he'll answer.

"Hmm... Well, in my opinion, freedom is subjective. Everyone has different definitions of it. For example, a colonized country's goal is to be free from its captors. An actor would want to have his own privacy. A singer would want to sing songs without being judged or shunned for it." Yutarou proclaimed, balancing everything he knows about Kazuya, in order to give him a definite response.

"How about you, Yuu—chan? What do you want to be free from?" Kazuya inquired.

Yutarou gulped. He wanted to go home. He wanted to be free from this mess. "Well... I want to live in my own way. I want to die in my own way, in my own time. I want to be free from fate. From destiny itself. I want to be free from life and death." He said, in a low and quiet voice.

"That's...deep. Now, who sounds like a philosopher?" Kazuya commented, adding a joke at the end.

Yutarou laughed. "Do I?"

The two boys didn't even notice it, but they were already in the cleaning room, Kazuya held one dustpan and gave the other one to Yutarou.

They went back to the club room. It was faster than before. They only had a few conversations about freedom and school here and there.

Everyone was working so hard, the club room was almost unrecognizable.

After a whole day of renovation, the whole room was in its brand new state.

The walls had been painter brown at her bottom, brown orange at the middle, and orange and yellow at the top.

Izumi had told them to only use five lights and put the one medium sized lights at the corners and a big one in the middle.

The empty space in the ceiling were filled with various types of flowers. There were also various colored butterfly origamis tied to a string to the ceiling.

There was a cabinet in the middle of the room with a vase on it filled with flamboyant flowers.

Then, surrounding it were four rectangular tables with floral designed covers.

Even the chairs had flowers and leaves designs on them.

Just as planned, the round tables surrounded the room.

The doors were also repainted in golden brown and beside these doors were small, square tables with transparent jars.

The air conditioner was still working and has been cleaned. It looked good as new.

They had also changed the color of the tiles to interchangeable colors of orange, brown and yellow.

The room was finally finished.

"What are these tables for?" Izumi asked Akira

"I was thinking of donations." The genius yandere responded, pushing up his glasses.

"Donations?" Kenji raised his eyebrow.

"Yes. If you are good at something, never do it for free. And, I stand by that saying." Akira declared with a grin on his face. "Let's just say, we can let the guests decide if they give us donations. Or the hospital, or the orphanages." He paused and looked at Yutarou. "Or scholarship for the FUTURE exceptional students." He highlighted the word "future".

Yutarou's eyes widened, then he calmed down.

'I see, now. So, this was his plan?' Yutarou sighed. 'This man... He just always managed to think ahead.' He shook his head with a light smile on his face.

"Phew. I'm so tired..." Kazuya blurted out, wiping his sweat with his shirt.

Yutarou looked away when he saw a glimpse of Kazuya's abs.

'Didn't mean to do that.' Yutarou's heart was beating crazy. It was as if he saw something he shouldn't have.

"Yuu—chan."

"Yes, senpai?"

"Are you free later?" Kazuya inquired.

"Are we hanging out again? What about your friends?" The teal haired boy asked.

"The four of us could hang out together." Kazuya answered.

"Eh...? It's like I'm overstepping in your boundaries." Yutarou reasoned out.

"Those don't exist when I'm with you." Kazuya said, grinning.

"...what?" Yutarou was truly confused by his words.

He thought that whatever Kazuya meant, only he and the Gods would ever know.

He was just glad that he survived today.
