50 In my own territory

Notes: I'm not that good at writing the action plot. I'm still learning how to write them. So please bear with me.

...

Running relentlessly for about 30 minutes, Mr. Joe came across a stream, the main source of drinking water for the people living on the outskirts of the town.

"Phew" He exhaled after he had stopped running. He was panting heavily and his heart was beating furiously as a result of exerting too much pressure on his heart.

An extreme fatigue surged through his whole body and he felt weak and sore all over his body.

After looking around his surroundings and confirming that he was safe, he drew closer to the stream, drank some water, and washed his face.

He then found a hidden spot not too far from the bank of the stream and laid down to rest for a while before he continued his run.

However, before he could lay down on his back, "whoosh" he saw something approaching him rapidly.

"Fuck! How the hell did he find me? Mr. Joe cursed as he saw something approaching him rapidly. Though he couldn't see the face of the person since everywhere was dark, he had the feeling that it was the kid.

He readied himself, preparing to take out whatever that was approaching him. However, inside him, he was praying for it not to be the kid. That was how scary he saw the kid.

Truly, his gut feeling did not lie to him.

.....

Realizing the assassin had shaken him off, Yebou gave a full chase. He exerted his full strength, accelerating his already rapid pace. Not before long, he came across a T-junction.

He was in a dilemma as to what road he needed to choose. After some gamble, he took the road to his left.

Without the system helping him, he struggled to locate the whereabouts of the assassin.

It should be known that the system only gives out the location of the target after giving out the mission. If the host refuses to take advantage and the target leaves his original location, then that would be the host's responsibility to take care of. Anything after that is none of the system's business.

As luck would have it, Yebou chose the right direction and in no time, he appeared before the stream.

It was the same place he fought Ato and his subordinates and where he fetches water usually. Hence, he was familiar with the place.

With his night goggles activated, he scanned his surroundings and immediately located his target.

Accelerating his pace, he appeared before the Assassin. He smiled coldly and sent a deadly sweeping kick flying at the assassin's knee.

Mr. Joe's knee shattered with a loud crack, and his long straight leg was instantly bent backward. It looked as effortless to Yebou as hitting his hand into water in a bucket.

Intense agony surged through Mr. Joe's body as he staggered and dropped to his other knee. Before he could even moan out in pain, Yebou's steel leg was soaring through the air straight toward his chest.

The roaring wind from Yebou's kick pressure made Mr. Joe break out in a cold sweat.

Desperately, Mr. Joe crossed his arms on his chest to block the blow, so Yebou's kick landed squarely on his arms.

"Boom!"

As though he had been rammed by a train, Mr. Joe was sent flying backward in a straight line. He only came to a stop when he smashed into the trunk of a large tree.

Thick blood gushed out from his mouth. The explosive, terrifying power of his opponent made him temporarily forget about the pain.
