Two hours ago,
Currently, on the New Nkawkaw Mountains road which serves as the only route connecting the various cities and towns situated within the Kwahu municipality and the only national highway to the Eastern Region, three police vehicles could be seen traveling at a ridiculous speed.
Without exaggeration, it could be said that the cars were traveling at an estimated speed of 120km/h acting against the speed limit set for national highway travel.
However, they seemed not to be bothered even though they are responsible for making sure the rules and laws set are abided by.
"Screech!!" A high-pitched noise resembling a sharp piercing cry sounded out as one of the police cars leading in front forcefully came to an abrupt stop.
Because of the car's sudden stop, the other two police cars behind it nearly got themselves a dinner invitation from the angel of death.
Nevertheless, with their skills, they were able to maneuver their way in a different direction narrowly escaping the claws of death.
"Aah! Not now! Damn it!!" The police driver who had almost caused an accident cursed out loud after narrowly escaping death.
"What the hell was that? Jude? Damn it! I'm still young! You want my girlfriend to die young from crying? Who the fuck even gave you a driving license!? Aish!! The police officer occupying one of the three cars scolded angrily after getting out of his car.
What happened now had truly frightened him. He's just a youth in his mid-twenties, he still has many years ahead of him.
How could he not be anxious when he had almost had his life cut short just a moment ago? But that wasn't his fault because no one in his shoes would have been able to stay calm. Except perhaps those insane people like his team leader.
"Sergeant Robert, stay calm. Let's first see what happened."
"But, Inspector Kodua. Isn't it obvious? He's just an immature kid. I had already suggested we drop him but you insisted we bring him along. See what he almost caused. Sergeant Robert started. He was infuriated by Jude's actions.
" You can't say for sure. Let's first ask him what happened." Inspector Kodua said calmly. He wasn't acting angry and anxious like how Sergeant Robert was behaving. He was rather clear-headed. His title and position befitting his demeanor.
Subsequently, they approached Jude's car. However, the next scene they witnessed made them furrow their brows. Inside the car, Jude could be seen sitting in the driver's seat shaking uncontrollably while muttering some words.
"See Sergeant I told you!. He can't even get a hold of himself after the shit he had almost put us in." Sergeant Robet's anger flared up when he saw Jude's behavior.
_One of those who joined through the backdoor? What this country is turning into sigh!_ Sergeant Robert thought helplessly. The more he thought, the more angrier he became.
After High School, because they want to get into the various security agencies, they pay exorbitant bribes to those in authority and later get recruited with no real-life experiences. And the results? That's what happened a moment ago!
After nearly causing them death, he can't even get a hold of himself and explain why that happened. If not for him being immature and blockhead what else would he be?
"Hey! LC Jude! Stay focus! Look at me! Look at me!" Inspector Kodua yelled out loud while shaking Jude in hopes of waking him out of his consciousness.
Few seconds later, "I'm sorry, team leader, it was a mistake, I'm really sorry!" LC Jude cried out after coming back to his senses.
"Yeah. I know! Just calm down! Good! Relax. Good! You're doing great! Inspector Kodua consoled.
" Now tell me, what happened?" Inspector Kodua asked after taking some minutes to console him.
