206 The Low

Nova didn't seem to be worried at all, and neither was Sol in the least. She turned toward Sol and said, "Sol, do you mind?"

"Right away, boss!" he said and hit a button to lower the window on his side.

"Pull over!" the police said once again.

"Eat shit!" Sol shouted before pointing his palm in the police's direction.

Nova quickly turned to the other side and said. "Close your eyes!"

Stanley didn't even think and quickly closed his eyes as soon as the advice. Then, he saw a bright light, even with his eyes closed.

He had to turn to the other side to hide the light from his eyes. He couldn't believe how bright it was.

The light died down a second or two later. When it was gone, Stanley opened his eyes and found that they took a while to get adjusted. 

"Shit! I forgot how cold it is here," Sol said, closing the window suddenly.

Nova turned around and smiled, "Good job."
